Beautiful home with ample room for everyone. Outstanding in many ways. Clean, comfortable accurate in description. Don't pass up the opportunity to rent this home. As with every rental there are a few things that could use some attention but that is easily overlooked. Our group would definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed the stay, the house was very spacious, really enjoyed the hot tub. Would definitely stay here again.
A few recommendations, a bit more lighting by the hot tub would be nice, since it gets dark very early in the winter months. Also please replace that fridge from the kitchen, its hard to remember not to use the freezer or to keep making sure the door closes right.

We had a wonderful stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. The house was big, clean, and lots of privacy. The beds were comfortable, the house was well furnished- my ONLY complaint is that the water isn’t super hot, and the wifi isn’t very good, but we were still able to communicate with our kids at home as needed- just only got one bar of service most of the time. Small inconveniences for an otherwise great property. Thanks for hosting our family!

Property was clean and quiet with wildlife near: dear, elk, etc. spectacular views. Large space with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Would stay again and again.

The location was great. We saw wildlife and had quiet evening on the balcony. Downstairs game room was nice but hard due to stairs and far from main room. Refrigerator door rubber weather strip was torn and sometimes didn’t close properly and chimed. Phone reception was a little scarce due to location but was an overall beautiful place overlooking the area.

While this house has a lot to offer, it needs some serious attention. The refrigerator needs to be replaced - the doors do not shut properly, the ice maker doesn't work, and the ice and water in the door do not work. The oven doors do not shut properly making it difficult to bake (pizza!). The washing machine was full or mold! There were lamps and lights that were burned out and had not been replaced. Our upstairs guests reported that the cleanliness of the bedrooms and baths were lacking. On a bright note, when we did report a problem with one of the toilets, the service was immediate! The property is a little difficult to find. The driveways are very steep. This home is good for a large group. The living room is comfortable with a large TV. We especially enjoyed the large dining table for 8!

We rented this property for a group of adult friends for an extended weekend. It was perfect for us. The kitchen, porch, and living room areas were big enough for everyone to sit together, and the multiple bedrooms and bathrooms gave each couple ample privacy. We would definitely stay here again. It is a little tough to get to though, so you definitely want to plan your grocery shopping well and before you drive out to the property.

We loved our time in New Mexico! The property was exactly as pictured… Large, room for everyone to spread out, all amenities were great. Plus, it snowed the day before we arrived so everything was blanketed in white. We would love to stay again!

My 2 main issues while our stay was Security and cleanliness.
The main entrance doors did not seem strong and sturdy. There were gaps. The bedroom I stayed in lock was backwards was able to open door with credit card. The shower curtains were full of mold and tub as well. House is nice but needs aome updates and maintenance issues.

Beautiful view. Pretty far out of town. Needs maintenance on property. Had 2 windows leak very bad when it rained. Road to the parking area is very narrow and washed out on backside of property. Need 4WD. Had everything you need. Very nice experience.

Nice stay in New Mexico
Eight adults enjoyed staying at this house in the mountains surrounded by trees and visited by several Elk. Home is huge with nice view and features but needs some basic maintenance. Refrigerator door doesn’t close, ice makers in two of three refrigerators didn’t work and twist locks on exterior doors hard to operate. Kitchen needs additional stocking as home had 5 bedrooms for large group but equipped with only three wine glasses. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Roomy house with gameroom hot tub and amazing views
The house is beautiful surrounded my nature and trees. Deer come to greet you every morning. The wrap around porch is great for drinking coffee outside every morning. The game-room is great entertainment for teens. The house is great for a Big Family from Texas.

WONDERFUL STAY
Amazing stay to say the least. Property was clean and had plenty of room for our family. This is definitely a property i would book again if back in Ruidoso. The only thing is a bit far from the racetrack but other than that, it is excellent! Property managers responded really fast any time I sent them emails with questions.

Weekend Getaway
First of all, follow the written directions given by VRBO. Google maps had us in the wrong area. When we arrived, about 10pm the home was pitch black, not one light left on for us and freezing cold. The home was extremely cold until we were able to get the fireplace working. The home and all of the appliances along with the kitchen utensils etc. were all dated and in need of complete update and/or replacement. There were only 6 of us staying the weekend and only 2 of us could shower in the mornings due to limited hot water and almost no water pressure in the upstairs bathrooms. The home was large and somewhat clean, just in need of a major cleaning.

Its a very nice and big cabin and love how its far from the town and high up in the mountain, it was a great experience

Beautiful
The property and surroundings are beautiful. The location is quiet and not too close to neighbors. The only issue was the heating set up is not adequate for such a large space, especially with the low temperatures we had while visiting. Also the stove burners didn't want to ignite and/or stay lit once ignited. We had to fiddle with them quite a bit everytime we used the stove.

Great property
This was such a cool house - the 4 bedrooms upstairs are connected by a bridge, and you can see the downstairs from it. The master bedroom was awesome, and we had fun down in the gameroom downstairs too. The bathtubs needed a little elbow grease as far as cleaning goes, and the water pressure was low, but overall a great house that worked for our family vacation!

Great place to getaway!
Beautiful home in a beautiful location! Perfect place to “quarantine” with family. There’s so much outdoor exploring to do nearby or you can simply sit on the porch and enjoy the wildlife around the house.

Very nice home
We enjoyed our stay but we were cold. Knowing the weather would be so cold, it would have been nice if the downstairs game room had heat and the heater in the kitchen/living area was not big enough to heat that large of an area. Once space heaters were brought in, it was more comfortable. Also, liquid dish washing detergent and a spray cleaner for the kitchen would be helpful.
