This rustic retreat was amazing! Although it fits 8 people, it was just my boyfriend and I. We stayed in one of the bedrooms upstairs and the bed was super comfy! We only made dinner once when we were there but the kitchen was supplied with everything we needed to cook (pots, pans, utensils, etc.) The front porch has rocking chairs that face the sunset and is just beautiful at dusk. On the back patio, you can sit and look at all the stars in the sky. The tv is a smart tv and has Roku all set up for you to use. You can also log into any streaming service you have as well. This house is in a beautiful community. The lake was just stunning, especially at sunset. I would definitely stay here again!

Nice home about an hour from the west entrance to Yosemite (make sure you have reservations to enter the park). One lone deer visited every morning. Not many dining options, but the pizza place has very good wings for a decent price. The local grocery store was well stocked.
The cabin itself was nice. A few cobwebs here and there, but that did not bother us. The split (multi-zone) AC system was nice. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash was available in both the upstairs and downstairs showers - no bathtub here. Washer and dryer were available and worked great - some pods was there for guests to use. Great selection of DVD's are on site, but no time to watch them. Kitchen pots/pans were not the greatest, but useable. BBQ grill was available with plenty of propane, so never concerned about running out of gas.
It was a bit difficult to get all our luggage up to the main floor access door, although access to the bottom bedroom/laundry/2nd bath was much easier. But you do not want to carry any luggage up the spiral staircase!
All in all, we had a lovely time and would stay again.
Thank you.

Dated but comfortable beds and seating. Basic cooking supplies. The lake and pool were a great plus.

We enjoyed the rustic accommodations and the cabin is relatively close to Yosemite for day excursions. Deer often stroll through the yard.
Book YARTS for bus ride into the Yosemite and pickup is nearby if you arent able to get driving reservation. Cabin is clean and confortable- nothing fancy but acceptable. Be prepared for car entry fee; and guests aren't allowed to park at the marina; bring your own condiments (salt & pepper, cooking oil/butter, etc. ); paper plates/bowls. The Mar-Val grocery has decent selection. Power went out 1st day and we arranged for a generator, but PG&E was able to restore power after 3 hrs.
Overall, we liked the cabin and would book again.

Great location and proximity to Yosemite

We loved it. It was exactly as pictured...except for the price, which went to almost three times the advertised price. There are VRBO fees as well as Vacasa fees and blatant pocket picking like adding a non-refundable "damage waiver." What does that even mean except hand over more money for nothing?

It seems the house was still under going renovations when it was rented out. Many of the sections were not quite complete yet. There was quite a bit of dust on everything inside the house. I paid for two bath rooms as we were a family of 5 adults, but only one shower was working during our 4 nights stay. We had to take turns for the shower, it resulted in wasting couple of additional hours each day which we wanted to spend on sight seeking the Yosemite trails. The repair person came on 3rd day but expressed his helplessness to fix the shower as it required him to shut the supply off to the entire house and he did not want to run into any problem requiring to keep the water suspended during our stay. I had called the customer service and told them about our issues. For all the inconvenience we went through as the whole unit was not fully functional they reimburse me back appropriately from the price I paid. Still waiting to hear back. I was told by the customer rep that local manager will look into the issues we faced and will offer us a compensation. No one has responded yet. Will post another review with my experience of after sale customer service after hear back and how they address my grievance!!

The house is clean but We saw one cockroach in kitchen cabinet about an inch long. The house is 53 miles from the Yosemite valley, back and forth it takes 2 hours every day. When we book the this cabin the commercial says parking free, but learned later we need to pay $42 for entrance. The biggest problem is question not answered right away, and every time different number text back some answers.

Heaven in the trees
This cozy cabin is so peaceful and quiet. Multiple decks to hang out on. Fabulous wood burning fireplace! It is our go to for relaxation. And just a couple minutes to the amazing lake for a day of swimming or boating! Yosemite is only 1 hour away as well. So much to do, and a beautiful, quiet house to come back to! We stay here 2-3 times a year and will continue to do so for years to come.

Great location for a Yosemite visit.
Property was well kept, and spacious for a family of five and two dogs. This was our last trip with our older dog and was very memorable for our family. Thank you for sharing your gem in Groveland.

Perfect Little getaway
My family had a wonderful time at this house. Very charming. The kids loved playing in the snow all day and then warming up by the fire at night. Kitchen and dining area worked for our family of 6. Grocery store was down the road. It was a nice place to getaway for a few days to unwind and enjoy the outdoors.

Rustic retreat fits the bill
What a cute little house! We loved the rustic decor, the layout and the beds - mattresses are new and we all slept well. However, if you need a set of matching plates and cups, an espresso machine, or a dish washier, this place is not for you. We could not confirm what another guest mentioned in regards to cleanliness - the cabin was spotless!
Though there is no general AC, each room has a wall unit that provided enough coolness during the day. The cabin is in a lovely neighborhood and when having dinner in the evening outside on the deck, we watched deer and turkeys in the backyard. The cabin is too far from the lake to walk from there to the beach, but it makes a short drive. We truly enjoyed a plunge in the lake after long hikes in Yosemite!

Cute place in need of a deep cleaning.
The place is really cute and met all of our needs. The atmosphere was great and the space was perfect.
The main problem was the place was dirty. To begin, the sign upon entry asks us to remove shoes which was done. Within a short period of time our feet and socks were filthy.
The home was very dusty and cobwebs were everywhere.
The worst part was the comforters on the beds. All were dirty and an unmentionable was found on one of the comforters.
Family spent the first evening cleaning the bedding late into the night.
The home is great, owners, management and cleaners must do a much better job of detailing this property from time to time and doing a great job of cleaning between guests.
Pine Mountain Lake was great and family had a wonderful time.

Place to be serene, peace & quiet
House is 3/BDRM: 2 Full Brm. Split level home. Parking is open carport. Carport 1st level with entry to huge room/ full bathroom, with laundry room equipped with washer/dryer. This lower level has spiral staircase to upstairs, the spiral case is open so little privacy for this bedroom. Oldest son claim this space. Upstairs has front porch full kitchen open floorplan to living room, small bar with mini fridge, with round table seats 4ppl. Kitchen table seats 6ppl. Furniture is solid as shown. Then 2 bedrooms & one full bathroom in hallway. Back porch has sitting area & propane grill. Great stay for family & pets! Serene, peace & quiet. Deer was seen down the road & right in back yard area. Wow! Place was clean, family friendly. Property mgr. left welcome message & contact info should concerns arise, great follow up & follow through! Area was in pine mountain housing area. Gated community. To enter Front great entrance fee $40.00 HOA requires this. Pass is good for seven days. Expect Guests to pay this should they be over for hangout or dinner. Otherwise they could park 1/2 mile by public library & carpull to the house. 30 minute drive to Yosemite main gate. Worth the stay!! Will revisit!!

Perfection
We had such a nice time at this home! It was clean, had everything we needed, and provided a perfect atmosphere to spend some quality time with friends. We used the BBQ and the back patio was so nice to sit out on. The pictures really don't do this place justice! I am 100% saving this location to come back to. It's so close to everything - including rainbow pools which was a BLAST! Thank you!

Great Yosemite Home Base
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! It is located in a quiet part of the neighborhood and is convenient to Yosemite (45 minutes to gate/ 1 hour, 15 minutes to Visitor's Center). The kitchen was very well stocked, and the grill was awesome (highly recommend the meat shop in Groveland). We had some ant issues, but the rental company was quick to respond with bait. As there were only two of us, we slept downstairs and the temperature was fine, but the upstairs can be quite warm. We were grateful to be able to have our dogs with us, and there is a latch on the upper part of the porch to keep them confined when grilling.
