We really enjoyed the location and quiet setting of this house, but the house itself could use some attention and upgrades. Nice open floor plan, but dirty carpet. Nice sized rooms, but older mattresses. No umbrella for back deck, so we couldn’t enjoy the nice deck in the afternoons/evenings. We did see a beautiful deer off the back deck! Overall, it was a pleasant enough stay.

Overall the house was fine. Kinda felt like Grandma's house. Furnishings were definitely dated. Could have been a little cleaner. The carpets were dirty. Main bathroom could have been cleaner. Stove fan didn't work and was really greasy and I only discovered that by looking for a way to turn exhaust fan on. Clock on wall had a dead battery. I think with a few tweaks from the owners and this place would be 5 stars. Beds were comfy. Didn't realize we had to pay to park our car in addition to what we paid to stay. We could see half dome in the distance from the driveway. Overall worth it tobstay

Lots of room, well equipped. Only problem was cleanliness of the carpet. Need lighter for the grill. Glad we had washer and dryer to use.

Good size house with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Comfortable size home in a gated community.
The pots and pans in kitchen were burned on the bottom, only had 2 decent pans to use. One to boil water for pasta and a large skillet for eggs and pancakes. Other pans were really ruined on the bottoms. Positive is they had a propane grill.
Dining room table - tablecloth needed to be washed and there was not a second one to switch it with so we had to eat at the kitchen island or on the deck.
Carpet was very stained.
Housekeeping left sheets and towels in the washer and dryer, which made you question cleanliness.
Location to Yosemite was almost an hour to the entrance plus another half hour to Yosemite Valley.

Big house - much bigger than it looks from the pictures. The Groveled area is small but nice with all the necessities near by. We rented a Tesla and had easy access to a Super charger in town. Great space for a big group.

Spring break in the mountain air!!
Great location for visiting Yosemite National Park. Longer day trip from location to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, but interesting drive, (be ready for curving mountain roads.) Locals are fun to talk with at shops/bars in Groveland. Great local grocery store and pizza shop!

This house offered us great scenic views and was very clean with all the amenities we needed. We even saw a deer from the balcony in the back forest area. Would love to come back.

Really Like Point View
This is a nicely put together home. Clean and spacious.
Nice big dining table and that’s a night for us.
We’ll equipped kitchen. Needs some wine glasses and a couple sharp knives. a colander for pasta would also be helpful.

Love the view!
House layout was open and nice. Had a great deck overlooking trees without view neighbors (except for one on the left that’s a distance away). Easy to get to the main beach area. Wifi coverage was great. No prob with cell signal. Only problem was bbq grill as it wouldn’t stay on (even after having swapped tanks). Would def rent here again!

Nice location perfect for a family retreat
Overall I would say that I am satisfied with the home. While it is outdated and could definitely use and upgrade in the kitchen and bathrooms, the house is spacious and very comfortable. I specifically looked for a home with no steps/stairs to bring my 98-year-old grandma. This house perfectly fit our needs. However, the satellite TV and the air-conditioning have not worked the entire week of our stay here. That was a bit disappointing as we were very much looking forward to watching the Olympics. Since the Internet was spotty, we couldn’t rely on the Wi-Fi either. There is a DVD player next to the TV, however, there are no DVDs provided. If you plan to run the house, and you plan to use the TV, bring some DVDs!

Spacious and clean
Great location and spacious and clean. The deck looks into the wood so it’s very private. On our first day of arrival, our internet didn’t work. Within 3 hrs, someone came by to help us fix the connection.
Everything is very clean.
Beware that on day of checkin, the house will be hot in the summer. Will take a couple of hours for the house to cool down but AC does work.

Quiet and Relaxing
We stayed for three nights for our trip to Yosemite. The house was very comfortable and was well stocked. We had a small problem with a low propane tank. I called and got a return call from the local person. When we came home the next day the new tank was installed. The house was close to Yosemite and it was an easy drive. We would stay there again. I recommend bringing your own Kleenex and cooking oils. Those were the only things we were missing.

We enjoyed most aspects of our stay in this property: 1) location; 2) covered deck; 3) well appointed kitchen; 4) cleanliness of house; and 5) the air conditioning (it was over 100 in Groveland our entire trip!). Groveland is a great location for day trips into Yosemite NP and cool places in and around Groveland. We enjoyed the local restaurants, walking around the gated community, and watching the wildlife from the deck. We cooked several meals and appreciated the open floor plan of the stocked kitchen. The appreciated that the entire house was exceptionally clean. The rental would be even better if COVID restrictions did not close all the amenities of the association. The closed amenities are clearly specified in the VACASA rental description so we understood what would not be available. Aspects we did not enjoy: 1) Broken-down furnishings; 2) house blazing hot inside upon arrival at 5:00pm; 3) obviously broken cable box. While the living room is comfortable, be warned the furniture is VERY worn. On our first day there, a leg of the glass-top coffee table collapsed when my wife placed her water bottle on it! We notified the rental company immediately. One of the sofa recliner's is dangerous and should be repaired or replaced. We did not notify the rental company as previous guests have noted the issue. I hope the rental company considers having someone go through the property and really give it a refresh. The DVR/cable box was nonfunctioning upon arrival. It was obvious to me that there had previously been an issue with the equipment as the reset button on the front of the box was extensively damaged, likely from frustrated renters trying to reset a malfunctioning box. It was a minor issue to us but could be an issue to a future renter if the rental company did not repair it. I advised the rental company immediately, the first day of our arrival, but it was not repaired during our stay. The rental was 90 degrees inside when we arrived, A/C was off. It did not cool down until the next morning after the A/C was on all night. I suggest whomever comes in to clean leave the A/C on when it is hot. The A/C system can only cool the house about 1 degree per hour when it is really hot.Overall, I recommend the rental, especially if the rental company gives it a little TLC. I give it 5 stars overall because the issues were minor compared to the value of the location, covered deck, stocked kitchen and clean bedrooms/bathrooms.

Everything you need
The house and kitchen is fully stocked, very comfortable and in a great location. The balcony is nice when it's not too hot. I forgot my bacon microwave tray so bring some bacon and make a nice breakfast. The kitchen countertop is very spacious and easy to store your food. There's dish, dishwasher and laundry soap, paper towels, normal hotel bathroom stuff, beach towels. We enjoyed cooking and watched some movies, although the signal isn't the best. The security at the entrance is quick. We couldn't use the community facilities due to covid.
