A great place to 'shelter in place. Beautiful views, scenic hikes on quiet trails, tide pool exploration.

Moss Beach is 18 miles to San Francisco and 22 miles to Silcone Valley where you will find tech companies and business people. This is a great place to rent if you are here for work. Work hard all day and relax at night while listening to the waves steps from the house.

Newly rebuilt house above Seal Cove Beach. 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a large great room. Large deck with expansive ocean views. Beach access and beautiful Fitzpatrick Marine Reserve Park one block north of house. Two bed, two bath with large living area and brand new kitchen. Same great views from the two bed rooms and the large central living area. WiFi, 2 TV's, ample street parking. Moss Beach is between Pacifica and Half Moon Bay with great beaches, hiking and lots of activities near by for the whole family. Fifteen minute drive to San Francisco. Very short walk to the Moss Beach Brewery, voted best restaurant at Half Moon Bay.
Truly elegantly furnished. Living room couch by Design Within Reach. Casper mattresses. Case Study bed. Hand made oriental carpets and high end kitchen fixtures.

We came for a wedding in Half Moon Bay. This home was the perfect location. The view is stunning and the home is clean and relaxing. We hope to be back for another stay.

The property and location enabled us to rest and prepare for demanding days in the city. Short evening walks to the marine reserve and delicious dinners at the next door restaurant brought the vacation to our visit.

We couldn’t have been happier with this magical place in Moss Beach. The place is set up with generous provisions that go above and beyond anything we Have gotten from a VRBO. The location is perfect with a glorious view of the ocean from the deck. There are great hiking trails that take you along the coast. We were able to see whales in the distance. Hope to return someday!

We absolutely love this place! We've stayed here more than once and our family has thoroughly enjoyed each visit. The owners are very thoughtful and the home is equipped with everything you'll need. We are already looking into booking another stay soon. :)

Every room with a view. Nearby walk to steps that take you to the beach and tide pools. Restaurant next door with good food and drink options. The back patio is the star with large fire pit, ocean view and lots of seating

Better than the pictures! The water and sunset views were amazing, as were the sound of the waves. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were well stocked with personal care products. The deck is huge and comfortable. Although Located next to a restaurant, we had no problems with parking or noise. The only negative is that the bathroom pocket doors stick making them difficult to close.

We had a wonderful time here! The views from inside the home as well as the patio are amazing! We enjoyed cooking, playing games and taking walks. The owner was responsive when we had questions about the fire pits. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a great weekend stay here. Pictures do not do that deck and view justice. So relaxing out there with the fire pits going, very quiet and we heard no noise from the restaurant next door. It did rain a couple nights but we still had the view from indoors. Only downfall is the parking. If you leave and return before 7:00 pm the parking is taken up from the restaurant customers. We managed though, and it wasn’t a big deal.

This was one of the nicest stays that my friends and I (who have been vacationing together for 28 years) have experienced. The house was so well stocked and clean and we felt so welcome. The hosts even left us some delicious homemade treats in the refrigerator. The view is amazing and we spent lots of time outside enjoying it as well as the fireplaces. We will be back next year.

Our family has stayed at this lovely little Moss Beach home four times and it's always a wonderful stay. We love the ocean views from the deck as well as the walkability with the nearby cypress forest and marine reserve steps away. Its location feels far removed yet it's convenient for visiting friends and activities in the bay area.

We spent 3 days in Moss Beach and near by Half Moon Bay. The property had lovely ocean views and remarkably easy access to activities along the shore, such as kayaking and horseback riding. There is a distillery in the property next door, which caused some car and foot traffic outside but nothing particularly loud or obnoxious.

We were in town for a wedding and Gonal’s place suited our needs perfectly. It was a wonderful weekend. We loved having the Distillery restaurant next door and we loved the home layout and property with it’s amazing large deck and views. Our host was very welcoming with notes and food which was very special, and unexpected ! Thanks to Gonal, a beautiful home and a great host !

We walked in and immediately saw the ocean and how nice the house was!! Very clean and had all items needed to have dinner on our first night. The host graciously made special tea and homemade dressing. I noticed we had the ability to make hot tea which was a plus. We had plenty of towels and even if we had stayed all week had the ability to do laundry on site. Even had the ironing board we needed. The fire pits did not light at first however we followed the instruction binder and was able to get them turned on properly. Close to San Francisco and Pacifica beaches. Overall great experience and would come back again. Thanks!

House is beautifully furnished with amenities not found in most rentals. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and there was nothing that we needed for meal preparation that could not be found. The upper deck is fantastic for lounging as well as the lower level with gardens. We will be back!

Great place to relax for a few days. Home has unobstructed views of the ocean with a private beach and marine preserve walking distance away. House had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We plan to visit again in the future.

Upon arriving, we discovered the house hadn’t been cleaned from the previous visitors. We didn’t have cell service (Verizon), but were able to get in touch with Gonul by calling through wi-fi, and she had someone out to clean, which was much appreciated. We were able to check-in within two hours after our original arrival. The house could do with some minor maintenance (I.e smoke detectors were disconnected) and a deep clean. Overall we enjoyed the property and appreciate Gonul sharing her slice of paradise with us! Wonderful trails, beautiful views, and a phenomenal spot to enjoy a family vacation.

Nice property, except the property notes specifically state that the smoke/co2 alarms are extremely sensitive and you must turn on the exhaust fan for any cooking on the stove top. We turned on the oven to preheat and the alarms went off. However, when we tried to turn on the exhaust fan, which was in the over-the-range microwave, we discovered that the microwave didn't work at all. Found it unplugged, plugged it in, checked breakers, still didn't work. Texted the property owner and didn't receive a reply until 24 hours later informing us that the microwave is broken. We tried opening all doors and windows when we tried to use the stove, no luck...alarms still went off. So it was extremely inconvenient since we had planned on cooking everyday. With no stove top, no oven and no microwave, we only had an outdoor grill on the lower patio which didn't get really hot. Also, patio furniture cushions were left out on the deck and were soaking wet from the rain. It took 3 days to dry them out.

If you are looking for ocean views and hikes along the coast this is a perfect spot. Close to SF but far enough away to feel you are out of town. Great launch for many hikes in this area. Fabulous sunset views.

This is our fifth year staying here and it is always a great stay. Even in rainy weather we always enjoy this very comfortable house. The owner is just lovely and clearly wants us to enjoy our stay. Highly recommend!
