About this house rental
Our beach home is a fun, relaxing retreat. Enjoy sipping wine on the upper level while listening to waves crashing against the reef, and watch the setting sun. Or, venture out and hike the ocean trails that are easily accessible from our home.
8 adults (including kids and infants) can stay in this house with 2 kings, 2 queens, 2 single plus 1 sofa bed. (let us know in advance if you will be using the sofa bed)
The third level has the kitchen, dining, and living room. There are four bedrooms on the second level and a one-bedroom suite on the first level. Each bedroom has its own private outdoor deck.
There are two suites with king beds and attached updated bathrooms. One Bedroom with a queen bed and one bedroom with twin beds share a Jack and Jill bathroom that is accessible from both bedrooms. This bathroom is fully functional but has not been updated yet. The lower floor bedroom has a queen bed with an attached living room with a sofa bed and bathroom.
The kitchen has all BASIC cooking supplies including a selection of pots, pans, dishes, wine glasses, a new microwave oven, dishwasher, and a new coffee maker. The Jennair range works well but is old and will get updated with our planned remodel.
The place comes furnished with two new smart TVs including a 75” for fun movie nights. Other amenities include free high-speed WiFi, 2 outdoor fire pits, a three-car garage (we use the single garage for storage, you will have access and can use the two-car garage), and a washer/dryer.
In addition to the main kitchen located on the top level, the bedroom located on the ground level has a small attached kitchenette and living room.

Our family week at the Oceanfront Beach Retreat was a delight! The owner was a pleasure to work with; the beds, linens, kitchen, living area were perfect for our needs. Walking in the area, going to the pickleball courts, down to the beach, everything was accessible! Thank you for our enjoyable week, we felt right at home!

We celebrated my husband’s 80th in a setting and location with a panoramic vista of the Pacific and innumerable walking trails for a group of enthusiastic senior and some younger folk. The accommodations were ideal and the amenities much appreciated. The three story level allowed for privacy and presented no difficulty for any of us “seniors”.

Our large family group really enjoyed this home. The proximity to the ocean and the views were stunning, especially the sunsets from the balcony! Everyone had their privacy, but there was room to gather together and enjoy each other’s company. The neighborhood was quiet, but we were close to stores and restaurants. The home was well equipped with everything we needed and the host could not have been nicer or more helpful. It was a great stay!

Our stay in this incredible home was absolutely wonderful in every way! The home itself is beautifully decorated, the beds exceptionally comfortable, the linens very high quality and the kitchen well appointed, offering coffee, cooking essentials, etc. But the Pacific Ocean view from large picture windows and the deck was the show stopper! There were three of us who stayed there, and it was so nice to have en suite bathrooms with each of the three bedrooms we stayed in. We thoroughly enjoyed a full day of watching Sunday football from the huge TV, curled up on the living room couch. The house is just a short walk to the beautiful Fitzgerald Marine Preserve. The owners were extremely responsive to our questions and very gracious. Highly recommend this home -- we will be back!

We are three couples who truly enjoyed our weekend at this Moss Beach property. The house was perfect for the six of us. It could have easily accommodated another couple. Being a tri-level house, there were some stairs that led to the bedrooms on the second floor and to the top floor of a of house, all of which are beautifully appointed. The first floor boasted what could be used as a seperate suite. The third floor has a community area with an adequate kitchen, a superb living room with a 75" Smart TV, and an outdoor deck with spectacular ocean views. We definitely appreciated the dumbwaiter to help us move our groceries to the third level kitchen. The property was clean and spaciously. Our host, Rani was wonderful. She was responsive to all needs and inquires. We would definitely rent this home again.

Plenty of room and great location
The house was very clean and plenty of clean linens. We had a party of 7 and there was a bed for everyone. The views off the top deck were amazing. Nearby hiking trails and nature preserve. The location is great too as it was 5 minutes to half moon Bay and 30 minutes to SF. Would definitely rent again.

Such a beautiful house in such a beautiful area! 10/10 rating, would definitely visit again!
The house was beautiful and had very nice bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas. And there's some nice trails along the water right next to the house as well which was a nice surprise. I would definitely visit again, this was such a nice getaway for me and my family on the Pacific coast!

If your group has mobility issues, you may want to stay somewhere else. We stayed 3 nights at this nicely appointed and perfectly situated beach house, and really enjoyed it! One major issue for us was that many of our family were over 60 or had mobility issues (bad knees, pinched nerves in back, etc). The fact that there are two sets of stairs that must be climbed to reach the ONLY common areas is NOT obvious. The spectacular views are also only available on the 3rd level of the house. There is a dumb waiter for moving small bags of groceries etc to the top floor, which is helpful.. Once you reach each floor the main pathways are wide enough, but even some of the bathrooms might be difficult for a person using a wheelchair or walker. There is one nice little ADU type suite on the ground floor. As mentioned in a previous review, not all parts of this home have been remodeled yet. That being said, the hosts have done a great job tastefully furnishing. Who doesn't love an indoor full length swing that looks out on the ocean? There is no real space outside on the ground floor for people to congregate, but the beach is super close. The outdoor patio on the third level a great place to have morning coffee or sunset cocktails, but it was very clean (lots of debris in the corners. All in all, a great value, if not a bargain - just be sure everyone can do stairs!

Gorgeous Spacious House
This place is perfect for a large family. Lots of space for privacy and wonderful space for getting together with terrific views of the Pacific. Nice hiking trails near the house. Overall this house exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended with not a single complaint. There is even a dumb waiter to get parcels from the ground floor to the top floor where the kitchen is located. On the floor level there is a separate one bedroom apartment.

I was not aware that this house was still being renovated when I rented it. It is in a good location, nice house, but it appears that it recently may have sold, and is being updated. The items that the owners have completed are top notch. Great combo microwave, quiet dishwasher, all new bathroom ammenities, most rooms painted, new BBQ, etc. They have very nice taste and the house will be great when finished. It is not, so I can only give it 3 stars at this price. Some of the issues: visible drywall patches (unpainted) in ceilings and walls, my bathroom walls were only primered, shower grout being painted from grey to off-white but didn't finish, back yard (by BBQ) is horrible with high weeds and trip hazards, interior trim painting (where the walls meet the ceiling) looked like a 4 year old did it, you could hear the toilets water running all night..ugh (I adjusted the floats), need some better patio chairs on deck.I have no doubt the owners will continue to improve this property, however it does not justify the price they are asking at this point. If the price was lower, or they had communicated with me about the condition, I would feel differently. My guests all commented about the house and property condition, and it was very embarassing for me.

Beautiful view!
The house has a great location, incredible views, and is beautifully appointed. The three levels and individual baths and balconies allow privacy. The open top floor promotes family togetherness and tireless views. The kitchen is one of the best designs I’ve seen and the window over the sink looks at the Pacific! We also loved the deck fireplace. Thanks, we’ll come back.
