About this house rental

Make this cozy cottage in a quiet downtown neighborhood your home away from home. Close to KSU campus, Aggieville, and an easy drive to K-State football games. Built in 1928 and completely remodeled, this home is light and open with wonderful hardwood floors, light woodwork, and french doors. Part time artist's studio while not rented out, this home has many unique touches such as original art and an extensive book collection. It's in a quiet neighborhood within 5 minutes of downtown, restaurants, shopping, and the city park. This home sits on a dead end street and has it's own 2 car driveway for off-street parking. This house sits on a corner lot and has a shaded, fenced back yard.

There is a queen size bed in an open room with the dining table near the kitchen. A futon sofa in the living room can convert to a comfortable full size bed. The futon sleeps 2 children or one adult comfortably. Two newly remodeled bathrooms with showers means no wait! Some toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, and lotion provided. All linens provided. If you would rather stay in and cook no problem! The well stocked kitchen has everything you need, and the dining table seats 4. There is a coffeemaker and coffee and tea available. An armoire is available for clothes. There is a desk in the living room and WIFI is available. Kick back and relax in the living room with a book, watch ATT TV, or a DVD. We love our little cottage and hope you do too!

We needed a place to stay while we moved our Student into an apartment in Manhattan. This cute little home was clean and comfortable. The entrance to the driveway is quite narrow, but it is by no means anything to detract from the expience.

Location was perfect for the conference I attended at the Hilton Garden Inn! Easy walking distance to Poyntz and Aggieville too. A very quiet neighborhood and all the comforts of home!

We loved this property! It was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked. Loved the drinks in the fridge and snacks on the table. Having 2 bathrooms was a definite bonus. The area was a quick drive to amenities and was quiet. We slept well. The comfy bed and pillows were part of that, too. We will definitely consider booking again in the future.

This was a perfect place to stay. Went to Manhattan for Mother's weekend so it was just met. Worked perfect. Very clean and had everything I needed!

We enjoyed our stay at this clean little house. I was in town for Dad's Weekend at KState with my daughter. The house was perfect for a weekend stay. The main bed was comfortable. Very close to Aggieville. My daughter stayed on the futon couch bed so it is best for children and not adults (definitely needed the provided cushion). I would recommend this house for a couple, couple with small children or one adult.

The cottage is clean and bright. It's a combined duplex leading to an interesting layout but the result is charming and welcoming. Our only disappointment was the size of the bed. It felt more full size than queen. Regards, The Irish family

Such a cute and comfortable place! After traveling all day we were surprised on arrival with a waiting snack basket and cold drinks in the fridge. There was even a Keurig with a variety of pods for our morning coffee in the backyard. The bed was very comfortable and Kim had thought of many small details that made our stay easy.

Owners were nice. Place was clean and had an air mattress and lounge chair which was a nice surprise with two teens visiting college. Owner did not have place ready but was quick to fix the problem. Drinks and chips were a sweet surprise after a long drive.

We really enjoyed this small house! Between the bedroom and the living room futon, there was plenty of space for us and our son, and it was great to have two bathrooms. The property owner’s paintings hanging on the walls added to the charm.

The property was very clean and has just about everything including a laundry room and supplies, Keurig coffee maker with coffee, snacks and other beverages, water pressure like I’ve never seen before, and it was nicely decorated. Only (minor) drawbacks are lack of drawer space which would be helpful for non-hangable items (drawers were filled with bedding materials that I could’ve taken out but didn’t), and a neighbor who started up his semi truck most mornings around 4:30 AM.

PRO: Small/cozy but met our needs and affordable. Very clean & conveniently located close to town and KSU. Owner very responsive, answered all questions quickly. CON: Cooling system seemed to begin its automatic reset process to 80 degrees the day before we were scheduled to leave, a bit of a nuisance since it was in the mid-90s but I could adjust it manually. My daughter stayed with us a couple days and had to use the inflatable mattress as neither the fold-out couch or the chair was comfortable. She did say the mattress was comfortable. Overall, stay was fine and enjoyable.

Great place for a smaller family. Had access to kitchen, laundry, back yard, and good Wi-Fi. Was able to celebrate Easter with our KSU daughters. Prepared a meal using the oven, microwave, toaster, and utensils. Cute well maintained residence! Neat rock wall on one side, good security, and well painted doors, shutters, and house. Great having 2 full bathrooms/showers! Very hospitable host!

This is the perfect property for a Manhattan weekend. It was one of the cleanest properties I've ever stayed at and it was super comfortable. I was worried about it being chilly or drafty and it was not at all! It is very well stocked with everything you need. in the kitchen, linens and paper good provided in the kitchen and bathroom, iron and ironing board, coffee available, snacks and drinks. .The bed was comfortable and the location was quiet. I hope to stay again!

We booked the cottage for Homecoming weekend so we could spend time w/ our daughter at KSU. We are both graduates, so we knew what our needs were going to be in town. The property is exactly as is listed, and it was perfect for the two of us! It is clean and SPACIOUS for two. We loved having two full baths! We weren't on site much, but it was exactly what we needed to sleep and clean up in the morning. Will definitely stay again if it is available for future trips!

this cottage is a perfect getaway for business or pleasure very close to everything ,very clean and tidy and quiet neighborhood. I visit 3 times a year and this will be my go to place if available for my dates. love all the artwork and how homey and spacious it felt. It really is a perfect place to stay ,there is nothing I would change. look forward to another stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house in Manhattan. Everything was updated and clean and Kim graciously provided snacks and drinks upon our arrival. I highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back when we travel to visit our son at K-State.
