About this cabin rental
Our rustic log cabin in the middle of the majestic British Columbia Rocky Mountains will make you feel right at home. You'll love your stay here with our stone fireplace, beautiful mountain views, and authentic log cabin feel. My place is good for couples and families with kids and big groups. Due to the remote nature of our cabin, WiFi is spotty and strongest near the head office. We do have cell phone service at the cabin. :)

I lived in three different Cabin for my Banff-Jasper-Yoho trip, and this is the best Cabin for the following reasons.
First, the condition of the Cabin is very nice. It has everything you need such as BBQ Grill, dishwasher and a lot of plates and bowls. It is also very clean.
Second, Steve is very good at communication. He started to send me information and tips 2 days prior to our arrival. He also made a guidebook and shared with us, so we know where to go and what to do.
Third, the Cabin is close to Yoho national park, it won't take too long to drive to Emerald lake, Takakkaw fall, or to get the Louise lake bus shuttle.
I recommend this place to people who travel with senior and kids.

This is a great location surrounded by pines and not too far from lots of hiking and other activities in the Banff area. It was nice to spread out in some roomy living space. Host was helpful and quick to respond to any questions or needs.

Property located right out of Yoho National Park entrance, with a few beautiful places to visit, but about 80 Km (50 miles) from Lake Louise and other spots in Banff Park.
The decor inside the cabin is bit of outdated and needs some update about curtains and basic electronics. For example, the TV is a Sony from 25 years ago and has a dvd/vhs recorder.

Steve is an ultra responsive host who provided a fantastic vacation get away for our stay to the Banff/Yoho area. Steve provided a check-in/property overview video that made our arrival process a breeze. The proximity of the Chalet to Golden was perfect for getting groceries, doing laundry, going to restaurants, etc, while the Chalet is situated in the peaceful mountain wilderness a short walk from the Kicking Horse River. Watching the sunset there was beautiful. It was the perfect home base. We loved roasting marshmallows in the evening, sitting on the patio with a cold drink gazing at the mountains, and playing cards inside the spacious living room at night. Our boys loved the loft and we all had ample room to spread out comfortably. Steve also supplied two tower fans to make the summer evenings very comfortable for sleeping. There was a very friendly property manager on site just in case we needed anything additional. Thanks Steve! You made our 2019 Summer Vacation Wonderful!
