Perfect for family or friends get-together! Lots of room, great catering facilities, very convenient location to the local villages, and the shops downstairs and french cafe across the road adds to the attractions. And a bottle of wine to welcome us, thank you.
nothing significant at all. We were short a few items of cutlery for our group, but this was very very quickly resolved downstairs in the shop/reception. A little road noise early in the morning from construction trucks working across the road, but expect this will be very short term.

The house was spacious with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. There were also many spaces to relax in small or larger groups. The kitchen was well equipped and the dinning space was great. The outdoor area was also very good. The house had a lot of character and was a wonderful place for our extended family weekend.
The curtains and blinds were not very effective for blocking light and we were woken early by the daylight. There was a little bit of noise from the road. There were not enough teaspoons in the kitchen.

Breakfast was not included
There was no hair dryer although the guest book stated that there was both hair dryer and hair straightener.

Lovely location in the hinterland, cows next door and views towards the Sunshine Coast from the balcony. Spacious property with more than enough beds for us. Walk across the road to a lovely French cafe.
The house was cluttered, probably a function of having a shop downstairs that sold all sorts of stuff. It must make it harder to keep a place of this size tidy and clean.
Too many scented sticks for our liking - we moved them out to the balcony.

Location is awesome and the hosts are fantastic. Love the eclectic setup and the shops downstairs.
4.5 / 5.0
The eclectic decor and the many spaces to spread out in groups or to take a break.
3.5 / 5.0
The spaciousness - and variety of separate spaces
The sheets need to be replaced - they are far too thin

Just the slowness of the Cooktop and oven for heating dishes. Also some instructions on how to use and play DVDs through the TV. Batteries in xbox controller were flat and door wasn't opening.

The heaters provided did a surprisingly good job in such large open spaces. Lots of seperate lounge areas for gatherings of people (large screen TV for the sports lovers, comfortable conversation areas for others.) Large dining table comfortably seated 10, with an additional dining table which could seat 6, plus the outdoor entertainment area downstairs which could cater for even more (but we stayed inside where it was warm). The carpeted floors, rugs and soft furnishings meant many conversations could happen simultaneously without disturbing other groupings in different areas of the house. Washing machine, dryer and outside clothes line very much appreciated. Lots of "things" to look at - conversation pieces throughout the house.
Even though the view was spectacular (across to Mooloolaba), the curtains / blinds did little to help with thermal retention or light control.

Clean and tidy in a quiet location. Plenty of space and very interesting decorative pieces throughout the house. Hamper was a lovely touch.

location was very handy
house is nice and big, and it was lovely to have milk, eggs , fruit etc there for us .
The kids loved all the things around the house.
Certainly is a great house when you have a big group .
Although the house has alot of interesting things around, I personally found it a bit to busy.
When your packing up you really need to make sure you have everything, because of so much furniture etc, it is
a little cluttered.
Only other thing i would say is its a bit loud sleeping at night with the traffic noise.

Beautiful large home, with unique and quirky designs.

Fabulous weekend away with a group of 10 adults. The house was great - very well provisioned, & heaps of room. Really appreciated the welcome gift of wine & milk, bread etc. Visiting any season other than mid winter would have allowed us to use the outdoor patio a lot more. Next time.....
A doulble bed in one room was very short & small. We visited in winter & as Lynda warned us, it was not easy to warm such a big open house.

This was our second stay at the Land of Lost Treasure and we loved it just as much as our first.
A great house for multiple family groups to gather and enjoy some quality time together.
Close to all main attractions and delicious restaurants! 5-10 mins drive max!
I forgot about the goodies that were there on arrival, so that was a nice surprise. Thank you!

The place looked really great with amazing decorations. There were many games that the kids enjoyed. The things that were provided were very useful especially in the cold weather. The hospitality was also great.
There wasn’t anything that was wrong.
