Great little motel stay for our trip around Queensland .

This was a friendly, quiet comfortable motel for our one night stay, everything we required was available plus a few complimentary extras. We enjoyed a very good nights sleep despite being close to a main road. The host was very helpful and could not have asked for more.

An excellent host who is extremely proud of his motel and the grounds in which it is located.

Exceptionally warm and friendly greeting. Shown to our room which was open with fan in operation. A freshly picked bunch of roses was a great introduction to our room.

We enjoyed our stay and hearty breakfast.

We have been coming a long time to this motel and liked the comfort, the country-like location, the patio and the gardens. Now with the added French restaurant and the friendly managing couple it is even nicer to stay there.

Lovely area and reasonable value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The gardens and surroundings were lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was quite small - no comfortable chairs or lounge. We watched TV while sitting on the bed. The kitchen was just adequate lacking some utensils and appliances. There was considerable noise from the busy road.

The welcoming atmosphere and attitude of the owners, beautiful fresh roses and complimentary chocolates in my room on arrival, lovely french cafe serving breakfast and lunches, beautiful assortment of home made deserts to chose from, walks along country lanes with beautiful scenarios

AMAZING OWNERS WHO COULDN'T DO ENOUGH TO MAKE SURE YOU ENJOYED YOUR TIME AT THE MOTEL. WE WILL VISIT THE MOTEL AGAIN AND TELL OUR FRIENDS ABOUT THE RELAXING AND BEAUTIFUL OUTLOOK AROUND THE PROPERTY.

We really enjoyed our stay Comfortable bed quite area.

Location was great close to all the attractions at Melany. When we arrived there was a lovely bunch of Roses on the table and complementary selection of biscuits chocolates and fruit in our room to snack on. Owner was very friendly, our unit was spotless.

Wonderful motel with the greatest Hosts!

The location and hotel was wonderful! Super clean and very comfortable. Thierry and Cindy the hosts are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. They go above and beyond to make you feel very welcome. We will definitely stay again when we next visit.

Having to leave to go home. There is nothing we didn't like.

Welcoming Hosts, beautiful, clean & peaceful with the best Patisserie outside of France!

I arrived to a friendly greeting from Thierry, he showed me around the room and amenities and was very helpful and lovely. The onsite Patisserie was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious with generous portions for a very reasonable price. Cindy was such a warm and lovely lady who takes alot of pride in the Hotel and Food. I couldn't have asked for a better mini holiday, the tranquility and beauty and attention to detail Cindy and Thierry have taken in the Hotel and grounds is amazing and sets a French theme. All the staff were warm, welcoming and helpful.

Very clean, neat and comfortable room! Great place for a night or two! Staff were friendly and welcoming. Set in beautiful gardens with picnic tables. Cafe and food looked nice but it’s closed Monday- Wednesday

The welcome we received was amazing. It was,like coming home to your family without needing to engage with anyone unless you chose to. So peaceful and quiet. A great opportunity to unwind and recharge. Having the cafe right outside was a wonderful treat mmmm yum 😋

Loved the lovely and friendly hosts who were very accommodating to any need. Rooms are spacious and very clean, outlook is green with a private veranda to each room. The on-site cafe the owners run on weekends is AMAZING! Great coffee and high quality, home-made French pastries and dishes ... Catering even for a gluten free diet. Highly recommended!

A peaceful, quiet rest with a touch of French cuisine.

The accommodation was great and French breakfast was wonderful but it was the attention to details that stood out. The fresh flowers, chocolate and biscuits upon arrival was a welcome touch.

The accommodation was quiet. The beds comfortable and the check in and check out was easy.
