Not value for money

The only reason people can choose this hotel for location only. Those who has work or shopping in the esplanade area the location is very very good. Just keep in mind before choosing this hotel that you are paying money only for the location,nothing else.

Not atall value for money. With this money easily you will find a 3/4 star hotel in kolkata. Not atall clean. Some stuffs sleep on the floor of reception in the night. Breakfast was average.

Great location if you love shopping/discover Kolkata

The room was bright and spacious including bathroom. Breakfast was good! Bell boy was helpful

Housekeeping service was poor..they didn't refill the amenities or cleaned our room once as we stayed for 4 nights. Wish they could accept other payment methods (Visa) apart from hard cash. It was quite a hassle at least for us.

Me and My family loved their stay here

I really enjoyed staying there just because this place is in very convenient to shopping, food, transport and yet very quite in rooms. I was surprised to see the room size, it was huge with 2 baths, very uncommon in Kolkata. I would love to stay there in future.

They told us our booking was non A/C double room,after that they changed A/C triple room but charged more than your booking money. It is very disappointing and unexpected.

Their rate is high. I think always keep Standard rate, not charge more,during festival time.

We requested through booking.com to cancel but hotel didn't inform us the update regarding the cancellation so we had to stay, although we didn't like the place.

hot water supply was good

Their machine doesn't take international cards and all the ATM machines in the area didn't work with international cards such as Visa or Mastercards so I wasted lots of time walking around the street looking for a machine that work, I had to go a money exchange to get the tariff , they wanted about twice the price for an air conditioned room about the same price as a 4 star hotel, the walls of the room were dirty and needed painting , there was suppose to be a a desk in all rooms but there was no desk in my room , the bed mattresses were like sleeping on the rocks , the mattresses to me were the world's hardest mattress with no give so I ended up with aches and pains from sleeping on such a hard surface ,the sheets and pillows were very rough and not smooth and comfortable , the only bed linen provide was the bottom sheet there are plenty of better quality hotels available which have air conditioning for around the same price , Kolkata has very high humidity day and night and the climate never suited me and air conditioning is a must
