The owner’s communications were great with quick responses to any questions we had. The cabin was very comfortable and well appointed. We loved the large deck and spent most of our time at the cabin on the deck. The beds were comfortable along with the linen. The cabin is close enough to many things to do and secluded enough to enjoy the outdoors. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who likes a bit of seclusion with great Mountain View’s.

The cabin was clean, comfortable and had beautiful views of the mountains. The owner was accessible for communication and cared about our stay being enjoyable.

We stayed for two weeks at this well-maintained, clean cabin in Waynesville. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the porch was perfect for watching sunrises over the mountains and eating dinner outside in the evening.
The drive up the mountain to the cabin is beautiful and easy to navigate. Bonus- There are entertaining groundhogs and wild turkeys that kept us entertained while coming and going.
Brandon is easy to communicate with and kind. We truly enjoyed our time at the cabin and look forward to returning again. Thanks for being a great host, Brandon!

This cabin was impeccably clean, comfortable and well stocked with multi level porches to enjoy the beautiful view. Brandon’s communication was top notch and the check in/check out processes were clear and simple. There were 6 of us (3 couples) and this cabin accommodated us with plenty of space. If you’re familiar with staying in the mountains, a great view usually comes with a steep drive. Ridgeview is a very accurate description; we’re Floridians who are not used to steep grades and the drive was very easy for the view payoff. The area is very quiet and private. If you’re looking for a cabin that places you close to Asheville and the TN side of the National Park, Ridgeview Cabin is a great place/area to stay. We highly recommend this cabin and had a perfect vacation. Thank you Brandon, we appreciate all of the details that you put into your cabin. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back!

Lovely home, enough space for everyone, and met all our needs as advertised.

We put together a last minute trip with our adult son and niece and her four-year old daughter. We were delighted to find that this cabin is everything it is advertised to be: remote yet accessible, clean, gorgeous views, and stocked with entertainment and essentials. We got to introduce the little one to the mountains, making s’mores, and traveling to Balsam mountain and the park for hikes and picnics. At night, we had everything we needed to eat dinner and settle in, with rocking chairs on a covered porch with an amazing view.

Beautiful property, amazing views. Very clean!
Close enough to town for anything you need or want to visit; and far enough away for the calm peaceful vacation feel.
Could not ask for a better host. He made sure everything was top notch and always responded quickly if I had a question.
This property did not disappoint! So nice this family shares their beautiful home we can vacation at…we even woke up to a beautiful dusting of snow our last morning. An advantage to the higher elevation!

This cabin was wonderful. We have a family of 7 and everyone was comfortable. The downstairs family room is perfect for kids. Toys, movies, and games were all well stocked. The washer and dryer were new. The house stayed warm and comfy, despite the snow outside. All the appliances worked great. Each room had its own bathroom. The beds were comfortable. The house was well stocked with anything you might need. The cabin was very clean. The view is amazing, so peaceful. The community is gated and private. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and hope to stay again in the future.

Extraordinary. Brandon was a txt or call away if needed. Hopefully we can work with him again.
Property is high and secluded with beautiful views and quiet/peaceful surroundings.
Brandon thanks.

Overall satified but in my opinion this property should be listed as 3 bedroom. A sleeper sofa in the game room doesnt qualify as a 4th B/R. 5 pieces of firewood was disappointing also

I can’t say enough good things about this property. The view is spectacular, the silence is crazy awesome, the accommodations were perfect, the communication was probably the best we have had with a homeowner. Heck even the rain storm was great to watch come over the mountains while staying dry sitting on the covered deck.
We were 4 guys on motorcycles so plenty of parking and a carport to boot. 2 thumbs up! Thanks Brandon!

I brought my aging parents and a friend to spend a week at this lovely property. We wanted easy access for day trips to the Smoky's, the Biltmore, Cherokee, and Sylva. It was perfect! We so enjoyed every bit of our stay at this one-of-a-kind property and hope to return!
The mountain setting was simply breathtaking, with its picturesque views and serene ambiance. We found ourselves spending countless hours on the porch, sipping coffee or tea, and simply absorbing the beauty around us.
The property was well-maintained, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cozy interiors and rustic decor added to the overall charm, making us feel right at home.
If you're looking for a getaway that combines easy access to incredible day trips with a truly gorgeous mountain setting, look no further – this property is a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered!! We are already dreaming of returning ; )

We have stayed in VRBO properties in Europe and in the United States, and with this experience, I can honestly say that Ridgeview Cabin is exceptional. We were a party of two couples in our sixties and all four of us agreed we could not find anything to complain about and deserved a five star rating. Instructions from the host were clear and concise and he kept the communication responses quick. The house itself is amazing-serene, beautiful location with a porch that I named the “cloud watching” porch. The floor plan with an upper and lower living area would be good for any group. Beds were great, really nice sheets, quality towels, perfect pillows and the kitchen was well stocked with pans, dishes, big refrigerator, just everything you need. To our surprise there were spices and a drawer of foil and plastic wraps and plenty of garbage bags. My past rentals had very little of this. All the furniture was quality and comfortable-not a worn out hodgepodge collection of furniture. The host has really focused on the little and big details in this vacation home. The drive up to the cabin while steep and a bit curvy is paved and our car handled it just fine. Unless you had a snow situation I don’t think you need four wheel drive. Don’t hesitate to book this cabin-it’s super clean, very comfortable, serene and quiet amid the forest and mountains.

Wonderful home. Everthing we needed to make us more than comfortable. Beautiful views from deck in the morning while having our coffee and in the evening cooking on the grill. Everything so clean. Will definitely return.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The view was awesome. The neighborhood was very nice. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning and evening. Star gazing was fabulous.
We brought 2 dogs. The house was very dog friendly. Our dogs also enjoyed their stay.

What a great stay we had in the Smokey Mountains. The house was exactly as described. Love the morning coffee on the deck watching the sun come up. Thankful we could bring our dog with us on the trip. He loved laying on the deck watching the hummingbirds feed on the feeder and the birds getting their birdseed. Someone left sugar and lots of other spices in the stocked kitchen so we were able to fill the hummingbird feeder while we were there too. Gas grill was great to grill burgers and steaks. We did have a little visitor one night trying to get into the grill A little bear came to visit us about 3am. He was the only one we saw during our stay. Thank you again for the wonderful memories we made in the Smokey’s before our son goes off to college

I have stayed in a lot of rentals and this one ranks up there with the best. The owners provide everything from paper products to spices to firewood. It makes you feel just like you are at home without having to bring everything. The home has amazing views and layout is perfect for getting together and away from the people who are with you. I highly recommend this cabin.

The house is clean, bright and comfortable. The views are beautiful. The drive to the house is easy - not lot some mountain houses I have stayed at. Location is convenient to Waynesville and Maggie Valley. The host is by far the most attentive, helpful and responsive host I have ever experienced on VRBO.

This is my second time staying at this property. I am very particular about a mountain retreat. I want something with some elevation. I want something quiet. I don't want to bring an entire house with me when I go. Most importantly, I want to be comfortable. This property checks all of those boxes. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Fully stocked house with spectacular views!
Great rental! House was fully stocked with everything but the food, the drive to the cabin is beautiful, the cabin was clean and the views were unreal! We spent most of our time upstairs on the covered porch since the views and weather were amazing. Communication was excellent and we can't wait to come back to the cabin.

A+++ stay
We are frequent VRBO renters and this was by far one of our favorite places to stay.
The home was clean and well stocked. We had everything we needed for a very quiet and relaxing week with our parents.
The covered deck with super comfy chairs was the perfect place to enjoy the ever-changing spectacular mountain view.
Brandon was beyond helpful and welcoming. We are thankful for he and his family's willingness to share their beautiful home with us.
I cannot recommend this property enough. We would unquestionably stay again.

Wow wow wow!
This property is amazing! It’s not just the view, it’s the layout and features of the house. My kids loved the house and the two levels of porches were great. The drive up is simple and enjoyable. Tons of parking and the ample amount of firewood is awesome.
The home had tons of towels and bedding and the central heat kept the place toasty on those cold nights. Beds were comfortable and the view when waking up out the master made the stay worth it.
Wifi was fast and supported all of our devices and streaming.
Overall, I would recommend anyone to stay here and take in nature and the rustic feeling of the cabin. A+++

Perfect House-Perfect Experience-Perfect Host
My wife, Cathy and I, discovered Ridgeview Cabin on VRBO while looking for a mountain getaway. We live in eastern North Carolina and have started a tradition of coming to the mountains in February. I grew up in the mountains of NE Georgia and will always love what they offer. We've been regular users of VRBO for over 10 years having rented homes in Florida and other states. So we've had a number of experiences with both properties and owners. Simply put, our experience with Brandon and Ridgeview Cabin was far superior than any other place we've ever stayed. The home is beautiful and extremely well appointed and spotless. The views of the mountains are breath-taking from any room in the house and especially the decks. Our eight year-old granddaughter described the Saturday morning sunrise as "magical". She was right. The attention to detail in the house was the best we've ever experienced. Loved the fireplace and appreciated Brandon providing firewood. If I could have left a "6-Star" review I would of. Thank you Brandon for making our visit perfect and memorable. We hope to be back in the Spring.
