The location was good.
Rubén was very helpful.
I had booked a few nights, King room with a private balcony and a view. I arrived to find NOISE from the building in progress that blocked what should have been the view. The balcony was a portion of the public balcony with some cement planters; neither private nor secure if I left the door open.
The noise from the building well under way war excessive. There is supposedly a manager, absentee, but they never gave me any notice that the room was now the loudest room in the place and merely told me it wasn't nice for them either. My paying and their being paid was irrelevant.

Sichere Lage!
Alles super!

it’s a pretty building, located in the center
there’s a disco in front of it. they don’t allow a normal size car in the garage, even though it fits and it was completely empty, not even for unloading or loading the car. my car had to be parked on the street because public Peking’s in the area are closed in Sunday’s.

The staff. Super friendly and helpful.
The construction. I know it's out of your control, but it did affect our stay since we were on the 1st floor.

Staff were friendly and breakfast was good. The room was spacious. Walking distance to restaurants and bars - very safe to walk around this area.
There was no hot water during our stay which the staff didn't know about until we told them and which could not be fixed until after we checked out. The rooftop pool area was nice but clearly hadn't been cleaned on the day we were there as there were leaves everywhere. There were also tools around as if some work was being done which might not have been safe for children. Our "river view" room looked out onto an active building site which was operating from 5.30am - it didn't really match the description of the upgraded room we booked.

The room was lovely and exceeded my expectations. The check-in was effortless (even when I was a little confused finding the hotel!). The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location was lovely with restaurants within a short walking distance and close to the river. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was spacious. Breakfast was beyond what I could have imagined, with an amazing range of food and drink with a view of the river. I was certainly full after. I also appreciated that I was given both shower towels and swimming pool towels.
I was disappointed at being woken up at 5 am by workers outside the hotel, not the hotel's fault as there is a building being built opposite, but was frustrated at how early it was! The hotel was also having a fumigation take place which meant the building floor was full of water. The pool says it is open till 9pm, but I couldn't find the lights; I did sit in the dark. The sauna and hot tub were not open.

the room is massive and it has a beautiful view of the water and cable carts. The staff was exceptional, very kind, and attentive.
bed was a bit hard, not my preference

What a wonderful experience! Staff was incredible, she got us checked in quickly and early, and recommended local restaurants where we get a discount for staying at the hotel. Very delicious juices and breakfast in the morning, super welcoming environment and felt very safe. Would definitely come back. The rooftop pool and view is also lovely!

We were warmly greeted upon our arrival.
The check-in took longer than usual because we were immediately welcomed with open arms and chatted about a lot.
We also got a lot of information about the city and the possibilities.
We felt very comfortable during our stay.
The room itself is huge.
The bed comfortable and the breakfast very good.
The terrace with pool and view of the river is also fantastic.
From the hotel we could walk to the tourist area and the river promenade.
Santa Ana is also just around the corner.
If we come to Guayaquil again, we will certainly choose this accommodation again.
Thank you for the nice stay.

It’s a beautiful property comfortable and safe in a great location. The staff is amazing the breakfast is really good. Your on the malacone so you have access to many restaurants or just a nice walk. We stay here on our way to our home on the coast.

it is like a secret spot. perfect scape from the craziness of the city but you’re still in the city.
the view, the culture, the colorful buildings
there was a construction in front of the building and the noise began from early hours in the morning. we couldn’t sleep well

All great!

good location, nice staff, nice breakfast, good value

location, view, coffee, breakfast, staff, shower
the shower in this particular river view double room was small—but the water was nice and hot with nice towels. The mattress was a bit worn out.

Good location in a safe area of Guayaquil. Excellent breakfast of fruit juice, eggs, and bread/jams. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful with good English. They were even able to book me a hair appointment at short notice. Large room with comfortable bed and great river view.
There was no AC control in our room so it did get a bit chilly at times even though it was hot outside. Our room had lovely large windows but no curtains or blinds. The decor was shabby in places and in need of refurbishment.

Very friendly staff. Excellent location
The room has no windows. Terrible noise from bathroom. The pool floor was on works. Price to value is bad.

everything was clean, great breakfast outside with a view of the river.
extremely difficult for the taxi to find because there are two hotels la perla.

Izzy was a warm and welcoming host- always there to answer questions or anticipate my needs. The room was large and beautiful. I wish I could have stayed longer!!
I would have liked to see the pool area, but this was mostly my fault as I forgot to ask and was swept up into other plans.

I loved everything about this place. The staff were absolutely fantastic. Helpful and accommodating. The penthouse was phenomenal. The views from every direction were great! The location in law Las Penas was very central, and also close to the airport for us in the morning.
The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, more roomy than I could have expected, and very comfortable.
They were very accommodating with the fact that we had to leave early. They got us an early breakfast, and called a cab for us as well.
I would happily return here again.

Location was outstanding - short walk Malecon 2000, many restaurants and shops. Staff was welcoming and accommodating; even arranged taxis for us. Rooms were comfortable, roomy and air conditioned. Rooftop pool was perfect after a long day of touring in the heat. Breakfast was delicious and hearty.
Leaving this great place! Nothing needs to be changed.

Izzy was fantastic. Location is great. We were upgraded to a large room which was perfect for our stay.
First night the room facing the water was incredibly loud and we couldn't sleep given all the partying noises from outside.
7.0
Location, hotel itself, the attached restaurant and staff was really nice.
The location of the room. It is an ‘inner room’ (13) and you are woken very early in the morning (6.15) by noise id the breakfast preparing. Lack of fresh air due to the lay out as well.

The breakfast was fantastic. Everything about it was exceptional.there were two areas to eat..inside or on the terrace. I can’t say enough about Izzy and her brother who run this lovely property. It is located on an old cobblestone street, and security to the hotel is great.
When I arrived at night Izzy gave me a delicious fruit drink. She was incredibly patient with me when I kept having problems with the key to my room. Trust me, it was not a key problem! They are so welcoming and had great recommendations for restaurants. I will be recommending hotel las penas in the future.
I was completely satisfied.
