Charming hotel in a beautifully renovated historic building. The surrounding park is lovely. Our room was enormous and very comfortable - everything was very high quality (e.g. the bed sheets and pillows). The make-it-yourself lemonade kit in the room on arrival was a nice surprise. Breakfast location in the courtyard was beautiful.
The only thing that would make this hotel even more luxurious would be a swimming pool! Given the hot weather in Guayaquil, a pool would have been a plus. Other than that, the only downside is that you really need a car to go anywhere and there is not much within walking distance of the hotel (however, this is probably true of Guayaquil in general... it is the kind of city that you need to get around by car).

Good location in the park not far from the airport.
Breakfast is really bad. You have only bread or eggs as a choice. And no one speaks english to explain that we simply do not eat neither. Fruit platter was half rotten too. Big disappointment.

It was our mini-honeymoon in the middle of a pandemic with curfew in place. The whole team at the hotel ensured it was a very special experience. Great job and we are very thankful.
