Moses and Stefi were phenomenal hosts who went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home, comfortable and taken care of. They honestly took care of every need or request we had and shared so much of themselves with us. They felt like a family we could rely on and it made our stay in Agra so much more calm, knowing we were well looked after by such kind and generous people. The food was amazing and the bed super comfy!

Moses the host of this place is amazing and so helpful. He let me store my luggage at the place even though I already checked out and helped with the booking of bus/train tickets. Thank you so much to this kind man :). The beds in the dorms were very comfy as well

MOSES! How amazing is this person? He helped me and my co traveller friend so much before, during and after our stay. We stayed 2 nights and loved it. Best home stay ever. Especially as a solo female traveller you will feel safe and super well informed. Moses will give you the best tipps and help organise Tuktuks etc. Just perfect.
100% recommend the Street Food tour. You won't regret it.
The location is in a residential area. Offering food on request, amazing chai & laundry. Rooftoop area to chill. 1 dorm with 6 beds (bunk beds) and one double room available. 2 bathrooms (upper floor, base floor).
Was able to pay by Revolut transfer which was really convenient. They have a dog (Sky) and a cat.
I liked everything and this made my first trip to India really easier. One thing...Maybe I was too late in the game, but i felt like having 60 seconds of hot shower.

Moses, and host family are very welcoming. They are a wealth of local knowledge and very handy tips.
Moses was able to take us on a sunset walk by the river to watch the Taj Mahal change colour , fabulous rooftop views from a friends terrace ,and the best restaurant food in Agra.
We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.
we had to leave

Everything. It is a great experience in a Indian home stay! Moses and his family are amazing!

The guesthouse is a wonderful and relaxing place with an incredibly nice family. Always felt comfortable and could approach/write to Moses with any concerns. They place great emphasis on cleanliness and the guest's well-being. I can therefore recommend it to everyone - thumbs up.
The only small hitch is that the bathroom is not connected to the room. You have to take the stairs down for that, but as I said, it's not a big deal.

Moses is the best host - could not have been more helpful. He waited up for me when my train was super delayed and his mum had dinner waiting for me. He also gave great advice on Agra itinerary, and was really helpful arranging tuktuks whenever we needed. The homestay itself is a lovely little haven in an otherwise unlovely area, though no complaints as it’s in easy reach of all the monuments if you hop in a tuktuk. Thank you so much Moses, can’t recommend highly enough!

Moses is an amazing, super pleasant and welcoming host. Felt at home with him and went out of his way to help us with anything and everything, the food he cooks is also super delicious. Can’t recommend his accomodation enough!! Rooms and bathroom are super clean too

Moses and his family are the loveliest and friendliest people, we´ve met in India so far. We felt so welcomed at their homestay and Moses made sure we have everything we need to explore Agra (i.e. tuktuk for the sunrise at Taj Mahal) . He took us for the sunset tea and dinner at the evening we arrived, we talked so much and the food was also supper yummy. We could ask him basically everything and he would help. He even booked train tickets for us with his card, as our international credit cards were not working!
In terms of room, it has everything you need. Pretty lovely outdoor area to chill and chat. Make sure to bring mosquito repellent spray and mosquito net, as there are lots of mosquitos in the city.
You need to take tuktuk to and from the city, but Moses can also order a Tuktuk for you anytime.

Helpful owner, good food, friendly atmosphere, clean bathroom, library full of interesting books, nice terrace and the most funny dog
Bed a bit uncomfortable for people >175cm, bathroom outside is a nice solution as long as it's not raining, my clothes are still stinking after the laundry service (arranged outside, not at home)

Really homely and relaxed vibe from arrival! Moses was extremely helpful with organising everything I needed and giving me information as well as sharing a lot of super interesting knowledge about India’s history. Comfy beds, nice chill spaces and great food available.
I can’t fault my stay

Even though it’s a small place you will meet other travellers and it was super nice to have dinner together with Moses and the other guests. It’s very clean and after sightseeing it’s nice to just relax in the common area. Moses is a great host with loads of knowledge about the area and he helped everyone with booking train tickets and recommendations in general!

I had the private room so I can't comment on the beds in the hostel part. What I can say is that it is one of the friendliest and most chilled places that it's been my pleasure to stay at in a long time. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with Moses and his family. They were there for any help or information needed, always with a smile and a readiness to go above and beyond expectations.
Absolutely amazing evening vegetable Thali which I urge you to enjoy as much as possible if you get a chance. Wear your loosest pants as you may find it difficult to stop.......

The best hostel we stayed at during our whole trip! Moses has been the perfect host, going the extra mile to help his customers. He helped us out when we were stuck in Delhi, booking us a last minute train in the middle of the night so we could leave for Agra the next morning. He helped us plan our day, without any obligations. And we were very grateful for his help and advice because it made our stay so much better. The homestay was very clean and homely. They also have the cutest and overactive beagle puppy. Would definitely recommend staying here!

We were warmly welcomed by the entire family. This hostel felt like a home away from home. The owners are extremely helpful with planning your stay in Agra, and even the rest of your trip in India if needed. The room was comfortable, the general area was cosy and the homemade food was delicous. There is a roofterras with comfy couches for hanging out. Try their cooking class, it's very interesting!

10/10 amazing, Mr Moses is the best host and will take care of everything in Agra (and beyond) for you. The best customer care experience ever. If you want to be looked after and be made feel like a family friend, this is the place. India would not be the same without meeting Moses and his lovely family! Thank you!

Moses is soo kind. He will make your trip much more manageable and help you with whatever you need.
I have to say that meeting people like him and his family is the reason why I travel. They are always ready to lend you a hand with everything.
Taj Mahal and Moses are probably the best things to see in Agra! 👌
Everything was fine!

This is seriously one of the best homestay we’ve ever been too. Moses and his family are just so sweet and helpful. Amazing food and property. Rooms were super comfortable. Multiple Blankets were provided for cooler temperatures. Can’t recommend them enough!

Moses and his family were the most wonderful hosts. As soon as we arrived we felt at home and were welcomed like family members.
There are no questions that Moses couldn't answer, and he made sure that we got the most of our little time in the city.
The room was clean and tidy and had all the resources we could need.

If you want to go to Agra then this is the place to stay! Moses and his family are beyond friendly, they will give you the best tips what to do and how much things should actually cost etc., even after your stay in Agra they are always there for you if you have any inquiries and will help you with everything.
I've visited 70 countries so far and stayed in many hostels and homestays but I've never had such an experience like here.
I'll definitely will be back, thanks a lot Moses!

This is a cozy hostel with a hospitable host. You will meet travelers from different parts of the world, so evenings can always be spent with interesting stories. The owner of the hostel is a nice guy who will always help you with planning a trip around the city and around India.

Moses was very welcoming and helpful, and I enjoyed my stay at his homestay. He organized a tuk tuk for me to get to the Taj Mahal for sunrise. He also had great recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing.

Our stay here was amazing! We arrived at the horrible time of 4:45 am and Moses kindly let us in with all our bags and showed us somewhere to keep them and sit. About 45 minutes later he came to talk to us about some ideas of what to do that day in Agra and booked us a tuk tuk to the Taj Mahal to see the sunrise and gave a great recommendation for breakfast afterwards. When we returned we were shown to our room by John (who was also lovely). We had dinner cooked by Moses and his mum (which was absolutely delicious) and a wonderful chat with Moses about India and some of its history. We enjoyed it so much here we didn’t want to leave and we wish we had know about their cooking classes and bike tours before as we would have LOVED to have done these! Couldn’t recommend staying here enough!

This was one of the BEST places I stayed at during my week in India. Coming to see the Taj Mahal is a once in a lifetime experience. If you get to stay overnight in Agra, don't hesitate to book your stay at Zigzag Homestay. It truly IS a lovely homestay and a welcoming place to enjoy an experience (not just a bed). Everything here is clean, convenient and well maintained. Moses (the host) is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and can organize anything you need. He knows all the secret spot and has access others don't have. Traveling as a solo female, his advice prior to arrival, during and even after departure, was reassuring, kind and very helpful so don't hesitate to ask. What an amazing home cooked dinner Moses's mom provided. Will definitely try her cooking class on the next visit.

My favourite hostel on this trip so far, Moses and his family are not only very helpful, but very friendly and welcoming. You get a personal touch here that is rare, but very welcomed, whilst travelling. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Agra.
