Happy hotel stay for an economical price.

I was pleasantly happy with my stay at the Panda Pod Hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, very professional. The directions from the train staion were great but it isn't until I arrived at the Hotel that it tells me the entrance is around back. I liked the funny pun you wrote. 😂🤣 'We're being up front' 🤣😂 silent space with blinds for doors, and kitchen with coffee and teas. Thank you for the space great concept. Pod has good ventilation, lighting and wifi.

When I arrived I was told that if I needed the wheelchair accessible shower they would move the laundry carts out of the shower. When I asked them to this I was told I couldn’t use the shower as it was full of laundry. I’m disabled, the other showers weren’t an option for me.

Unpleasant. Will not recommend. Will discourage anybody who wants to try it out.

The location is as expected. Near the Richmond Center. That is all I can say about it. The pod is super, super small. Do not compare it to the pods in Japan. The bed is super uncomfortable.And the bahtroom is gross.

The mattress and the bathroom need a major re-think. The mattress should be changed to one that is comfortable. The bathroom has to be cleaned, and maintained regularly during the day. GROSS.

The pod hotel concept comes to Canada.

Hotel experience stripped down to the basics with Japanese efficiency. Everything you need, nothing you don’t. It’s bunk beds like a hostel, but the bunks are very spacious and private. You have to take your shoes off at the front (or back in this case) door and wear sandals inside.

There’s storage under the bunk for your bag but it’s not very big. If you’ve got much more than carry-on size you’ll have to check it in the back room. They make this pretty easy but the under-bunk volume could be bigger.

A fun experience

I was surprised by how cozy and comfortable the pods were. If you like the novelty of sleeping in a pod, which I do, you will really enjoy it. It was also surprisingly quiet! The staff were also very kind and very helpful. The place was very clean with some minor exceptions.

The showers did have some mildew in them and the three out of the four women's toilets got dirty or clogged through the night.

Convenient to travelers that looks for a quick rest rather than paying for an expensive hotel. Very helpful staff and clean hotel.

Small shower/restroom. You can hear other guest going in and out the pod. Uncomfortable pillow.

it was a unique experience & everything was honestly very smooth! the staff were really nice & helpful, & i liked that we had multiple lockers to lock our stuff with! the pods were also very comfy & cosy imo…

showers are a little tiny :( & could have been cleaner :/ there was some gunk in the sinks it was a little bit gross

Super friendly staff. Good coffee. Beds are really comfortable and everyone stayed quiet at night so that everyone can sleep. Ideal to have just a small bag with you, if you travel with bigger luggage is doable but have the items ready that you need. Ideal for a night
