Inviting guest house connects easily with airport and Vancouver neigborhoods

I liked the decor in the living room, the steamy hot water in the shower, the clean microwave, the powerful hairdryer, the window that opened to let in fresh air, the fluffy towels, the friendly woman, Elena, who greeted me and the very convenient location.

I wish a single room had been available. The price of a double room for just one person made the cost a bit of a budget buster.

A little expensive, but location is a big advantage

Location was perfect. 15-20min drive from downtown area or area where good eatery is concentrated. Also 20min easy drive to the Vancouver International Airport is a great advantage. The most recommendable point to choose this guest house is location.

Average guest house quality and service. Nothing wrong and no complaints about those points. The only but minor point is that the guest house entrance is not curbside. They will let you park in the back and you need to drag your suitcase from there. But still not a point to discard this guest house from your list of candidates.

Good location, great communication with host

The location and street parking were perfect for me. The room was clean and comfortable.

Smells like a cat lives there, and I was completely surprised to find out it was one room of 4 total in the guest house. Didn't realize it was a shared space!

Friendly staff, clean and good-quality accommodation and amenities

The accommodation was very clean. All the required amenities were available and the staff member I spoke to was really friendly and helpful. Location was not bad either, just a short walk to the metro and bus stops.

I was put into another cottage when I arrived, as the cottage I had booked a room in was double booked, which I did not mind as the other accommodation was really nice, but is something to perhaps avoid in the future, or let the guests know in advance.

Friendly, convenient and close to transport. Helpful and available if assistance needed. Shared bathroom. Fan provided.

We wouldn’t recommend this place. Honestly I don’t understand the great score this accomodation has. It is very pricey f

The place was clean and the communicatiom with the owner was quick.

I don’t know about the rest of the building but our room with shared bathroom in the back part of the house wasn’t cozy at all. It had very small window. The room is then very dark and the bed was very uncomfortable and squeaky. It would also be nice if the window had a mosquito net so we could open it and get some air. The back yard also wasn’t very nice.

Great location, quiet and apart from people. Within walking distance from skytrain. Bathroom is shared, but had no inconviniences. Has a small but functional kitchen.

The place could be better mainteined for a fresher and renewed condition.

Easy, clean and friendly, and ultimately that was what I’ll remember

easily accessible, quiet, parking on site, EXCELLENT SHEETS -they were the softest ever! That little care package is a nice touch. The property owners were consistently easy to get ahold of.

Very pricey for a single bedroom. Maybe I’m not up to speed on lodging in Vancouver, but there are lots of single room accommodations for less on AirBnB. I also wish there was temperature control in the room or the bathroom.

Very appreciative to have a room for family who was flooded out but it was very expensive especially

Manager very friendly.

Would have been nice to have cable so we could watch the news from time to time or at least have a radio in the kitchen to listen to the news. Felt somewhat isolated from what was happening in the world. No convenience stores nearby to pick up a paper. Kitchen lacked some essential tools.....a soup ladle, a pasta strainer, a large pot for cooking pasta....a second dish towel to dry dishes.

Superb

Well equipped kitchen, easy to get to from the airport, a short walk to the Sky Train, spacious and comfortable single room, perfect for my needs

There were no others staying at the property when I was there. This was perfect for me as coming from a different time zone, I appreciated being able to go to bed early (according to Vancouver time) and not be disturbed, and be up at 4 am and making breakfast, having a shower etc.. Given the location of the rooms, I would not have been able to do this as easily/comfortably if others were staying at the same time.
