ABOUT POTTERS WAREHOUSE
Potters Warehouse is a large comfortable residence at the top of Bellingen town centre. It is very conveniently located to cafes, restaurants, shops and river parks. It has lovely north and south facing all weather verandahs with an outdoor dining table and couches. The generous 40 square metre open plan kitchen dining and lounge area provides a great space. There is a large family bathroom, two generous bedrooms, each with very comfortable king sized beds and one that also has a queen sized bed and king single, all with quality linen. Reverse cycle air-conditioning to all rooms for your comfort.
The front bedroom overlooks the town square and heritage buildings through its arched window whilst the second bedroom faces north across the tree pole verandah to the Dorrigo Mountain and Great Dividing Range.
The warehouse is fully equipped, very comfortable and convenient.
LOCATION.
The Potters Warehouse at 105 Hyde street is perched above of the Alternative Bookshop and my pottery studio and gallery.
Just step down the staircase and onto the main street where you will find cafes, restaurants and boutiques. A two minute walk will take you to Jaret River Park beside the beautiful Bellinger River where you can watch the sunset.
Potters Warehouse is a 20 minute drive to the Dorrigo World Heritage National Park Rainforest and a 15 minute drive will get you to the spectacular Never Never River in the Promised Land. A 15 minute drive takes you to the beautiful, quiet beaches and boardwalk at Urunga were the Bellinger and Kalang rivers join .
Bellingen is a unique little town located just 30 minute drive from Coffs Harbour airport, and about 10 minute drive from Pacific Highway along Waterfall Way.

Staying at the Potters Wharehouse was really nice , it had a great feeling and was clean and comfortable and within walking distance of everything Bellingen has to offer, would definitely recommend it a stay there!

Great spot in town, great for teenagers to head in and out of town. Big airy rooms, great beds and linen.

Pros: The accommodation was charming, clean and well appointed and convenient to Bellingen village.. The rear verandah is a lovely warm spot in the morning sun. The beds were comfy with fresh linen and air conditioned.
Cons: The steep slightly rickety stairs to enter could be difficult for some, and the number of irregular stairs inside the house saw me trip and fall (no injury fortunately) with slippery mats on the polished floor, some milk for tea and coffee would have been good. I slightly overpaid on the original booking and trying to get a small refund has been unpleasant.

John was a pleasure to communicate with prior to our arrival. He made us feel welcome and had some good tips on local dining. The property was perfect for our needs and was very comfortable. It has a lovely feeling and is in a great location. We really enjoyed our time and would happily stay again

We had a wonderful albeit a short stay at John’s apartment in the beautiful centre of Bellingen. What a wonderful space, with high ceilings and extra comfortable beds, John was easy to get in touch with and very helpful. We will be back!!

Girls weekend away
We had a Long weekend stay with girlfriends for the Bellingen Readers and Writers Festival and the Potters Warehouse was the perfect accommodation for us. Eclectic and character filled, with warm comfy beds and 2 balconies to choose from to relax in the sun. So close to everything in town, that we didn't have to use our car all weekend. Surprisingly quiet being in the Main Street. The onsite parking is safe and convenient.
John was the prefect host, warm, friendly, helpful and available...we would definitely come back and stay, next time we come to Bellingen!

Great location but needs some attention
Mouldy bathroom.Dirty floor rug. Old used soap. Did not represent reasonable value .Rear entrance was dark at night and hazardous and unkempt.

50 and fabulous epic roadtrip
Absolutely fabulous! Very comfortable and quirky! Loved this space! Balconies are so good and the windows! Oh those windows are divine! The owner is a gem!

Family getaway - very peaceful
The accommodation was spacious, private, peaceful and quiet, with a neighbourhood cat who even popped by to say hello as well, which my children loved. John was a very friendly host and accommodated us very well - the only thing I would wish was to have had more time in order to explore the arts and crafts available in Bellingen. Such a beautiful spot and so very peaceful - would happily recommend to anyone traveling to Bellingen.

My favorite place to stay in Bellingen
Second time I’ve stayed and the first place I try to get every time I come to Bellingen. Lots of airy and light space, comfy beds, great kitchen and two verandas to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Very close to shops and the main strip. Thanks again John for a wonderful stay.

Large and comfortable residence, right in town. John is a great host, and offered a couple of welcome suggestions for local dining and adventures. We really enjoyed our little getaway in Bellingen 😀

Characterful accommodation in the centre of town
The property is as depicted - a charming, character filled loft style conversion in the centre of town. We stayed as a couple so only needed one of the bedrooms and found the king bed very comfortable. John was a lovely host. We loved the large windows & verandahs and high ceilings and found it a very convenient location to walk to things in town (which was helpful as it was hard to find parking the day we arrived). It was also a great place to explore some of the National Parks along Waterfall Way from.

Beautiful stay in everyway
John is a warm engaging host who made both myself & my friend feel at ease during our stay in Bellingen.
The accommodation is beautiful, comfortable with a full kitchen enabling us to cook at home.
We didn't want to leave.
I highly recommend staying here in the heart of the community surrounded in nature & a yoga practice next door.

Excellent Rustic Accommodation
Walked in and instantly felt relaxed, so much more then expected. Comfortable beds and great linen. Walk out and right in the heart of Bellington town centre.

Central to everything
This was not the first time we have stayed with John at the Potters in Bellingen and will certainly not be the last. We enjoy being right in the centre of Bellingen with access to all there is on offer. We are also very biased as we love Bellingen, plus John makes the stay very easy. See you next year:)

Unique lodging, the best of our Australian vacation
This place has so many unique features unlike any other place. The host came over to welcome us the first night and the next morning to give us a map and recommendations. When we checked in, we found chocolate chip cookies and milk as well as coffee and tea. The rooms have tall ceilings and large open spaces. We loved the back veranda where we are able to watch the sunset and the bats going out for their nightly travels. The restaurant at the Federal hotel nearby was our destination for the 4 nights we stayed. I highly recommend this place.

Great position, we were able to easily walk everywhere for the Bello Festival.
Could I suggest better knife for cutting and some instant coffee.
A broom to sweep the floor also.

Very cosy and spacious place with an artistic flair. We loved the location, walking distance to all shops and cafes and only a short drive away from either mountains or sea.

Funky rustic comfortable unique! A bit like Bali in Bellingen... but better!
We LOVED staying here. Those generous verandahs just invite you to stay home all day! John, thank you for the dark chocolate in the fridge! Very comfortable beds. GORGEOUS little town, great cafes. Recommend No 5 for Mexican and other dishes for dinner, Hyde for S&P coffee. Friendly people, quaint shops, close to Dorrigo national park. I want to come back again. 😃�

Perfect Location
We were just visiting Bellingen for the night and wanted to stay central to the little township, so John's place was perfect. The rear deck has a beautiful frangipani and the vista to the mountains makes it a perfect spot to sit and relax. Was very clean and comfortable.
