Charming antique boat house located directly on Long Pond. Quiet, peaceful accommodations with 180 views. Watch the American Bald Eagles and Osprey search for fish at dusk from your private deck that reaches out over the pond. Long Pond is full recreation, and kayaks are available. Hiking, bicycling, golfing, fishing, swimming, boating, snorkeling, sunbathing, and napping are just a few of the activities that can be enjoyed in the quaint, semi-private, pond-front accommodation. We are just 2 miles from the Pinehills golf courses, 6 miles from White Horse Beach, 7 miles from Pine Hills mountain bike trails, and 8 miles from downtown Plymouth where you can go whale watching, deep sea fishing, take the ferry to Provincetown, or attend many of our tourist attractions.We are just 10 miles from the Cape Cod Canal. Children over 5 are welcome.

This is a convenient location to all the places on our list! First day explored Plymouth. 2nd day drove into Boston to Fenway park for the best game ever! Lots of home runs! 3rd day we drove cape cod! 4th day we took ferry to Martha’s Vineyard & did the bus tour. Last day we took commuter train from Kingston to south station. Visited the north end & did hop on hop off bus for Boston tour- great! Ate breakfast at the house each day enjoying the view!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming little cottage on Long Pond. The owners are wonderful people and were very helpful and kind to us. The cottage is clean, quaint, and comfortable. The pond is crystal clear and as peaceful as can be. We're looking forward to going back again!

This lovingly repurposed boat house is a little slice of heaven. You're so close to the water, on top of it really it's like being on a boat. It's tiny but was perfect for two... and the large deck and the beach were great to lounge on. Would love to go back in the fall, when the leaves start to change. Excellent bird watching too.

Absolutely loved our stay. The pictures are spot on except the water is even prettier!! The owners Lynn and Jack were super friendly, accomodating and made us feel at home! Perfect getaway to celebrate our 27th anniversary.

Lynn was very easy to work with and communicate with. The pond was clean and large enough to explore by kayak.
The only downsides are the size of the bathroom ( think boat) and privacy, as you need to park by the owner’s home and walk through their yard to get to boat house.

The boat house is right on the water front shore not in the water so it is very stable. There is a deck above the water however. The house is suitable for a small family vacation. Plymouth is very close to cape Cod. The hosts are the best.

My husband and I spent a relaxing long weekend in this unique little boathouse. Two days were spent kayaking and enjoying the views from our deck and the third we headed into Plymouth ( 15 minute drive ). We chose to stay in for our early meals and enjoyed our dinners at Rye, Black Lantern Tavern and Surfside Smokehouse, which were a quick car ride away. Sadly the rain prevented us from walking the nearby trails but a good book, a deck of cards, and a few games of checkers made for a pleasant passage of time.
Lynn greeted us, explained what was needed and, although the hosts are also on the property, allowed us our privacy. It was obvious that if we needed anything, they would have been very accomodating.
So glad we found this gem!

Super relaxing which is exactly what we were looking for. In the woods right on the water all kinds of wildlife quiet no one bothering you. AC kept the house nice and cool
Spent a lot of time on the deck looking at the pond(large pond more like a lake)
The hosts were great didn’t see much of them after arriving nice people left us alone.

Amazing location, directly on the lake. Absolutely beautiful. Very clean, large , quiet lake. Must stay. Small beach front to hang out with dock that works well for fishing or hanging. Right across the street from location are beautiful hiking trails with lots of wild life. Host were very kind and accommodating.

If you love waking up to the sunrise over a beautiful pond..if you love watching the fish jump in the eve just before sunset..if you love listening to the incredible variety of birds songs and watch waterfowl go about their routines: this cottage stay is for you ! Fishing off the dock,kayaking ( kayaks provided )launching from your own beach , Miles of walking trails around other ponds and woods.just step out the door. this restored antique boathouse is my retreat. as soon as i step into it,i feel restored myself. id like to point out that i travel/stay alone and as a single older woman , it is very important to feel safe while staying at a place . We are ages 89 and 84 and this is the very best place we have ever stayed on vacation!!!!!! Over the years we have stayed at dozens of cottages all over New England. The boat house is our very favorite place and we are hoping to stay again next year!!! You step out of the living room right onto the dock where you can fish a few feet from the door. My husband and I spent two nights at this wonderful boathouse by the water. Jack and Lynn were amazing hosts and thought of everything. The boathouse has everything you need and we felt right at home. The bed was very comfortable and the furniture in the living room was also extremely comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The dock was the best part and so peaceful to just sit and listen to the birds and watch the ducks. You literally are on the water and it was so beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed having the use of the kayaks. It was a perfect getaway and we didn’t want to leave. We look forward to returning someday!! Highly recommend this property. Thank you Lynn and Jack!

The hosts, Lynn and Jack, could not have been more welcoming. Jack even invited us into his home to show us his beautiful antique furniture and the views from the porch. But, honestly, the views from their Boathouse rental are BETTER!
This is such a quaint, clean, peaceful property (right down to the clarity of the water!), you might not find many others like it! The only warning I might give is that a taller or large in stature person may have some difficulty in the tighter spaces. Kayaking, fishing, bird watching (We had three Bald Eagles visit within VERY close range!)...absolutely everything you could ask for from Mother Nature! And Plymouth Harbor is close enough for a little more activity if needed. If there's no such thing as "perfection"...then this place is 99% there!!! Thank you Lynn and Jack...we enjoyed every minute of Long Pond!!!

We had the most amazing stay at the boathouse. Lynn and Jack did a great job creating a wonderful, relaxing getaway. We didn’t want to leave. We loved sitting on our dock watching the water, the fish and the birds. It was truly a much needed weekend spent in nature. Idyllic boathouse cottage set on a most picturesque pond . many different Waterfowl species as well as song birds and kingfishers to please the bird enthusiast . Serene setting , amazing sunrises . fish jumping when the wind quiets and the pond stills towards eve. Everything we wanted! Cozy, private and so relaxing. The boathouse is exactly as advertised, a quite cozy little getaway right on the water. At night we could hear the gentle lapping of the waves against the shore and dock. This "cottage" is very comfortable. The kitchen is amply stocked with seasonings and everything you need to make a nice meal "at home" but close enough to go out. And everything to make a perfect cup of coffee in the morning and enjoy the water. Oh yeah, the water, crystal clear and a sandy beach to add to the experience. It's the perfect place for a couple to get away from it all. There is a day bed for a third person, but beyond that it might get crowded as this really is like a small cottage. The owners are easy to communicate with and take great pride in providing a very unique VRBO property. If you are looking for some quiet time by yourself, or with someone you love without all the "noise" in the daily life, and get close to tnature.... THIS IS IT! Highly Recommended!

This place is awesome with swimming, kayaking, canoeing right outside your door. Such a great sleep too. Lynn and Jack are very available and friendly. Just be aware there is no internet or TV. So come prepared to relax!
