The small house was delightful and well equipped with everything we needed. Having two bathrooms was a great advantage. The small garden was lovely. The WiFi worked perfectly. A great place to stay, and at a reasonable cost.
Associating with 'Pass the keys' was awful. I kept getting emails that I had to verify my identity with an outfit called Superhog, or the booking would be lost. But I had done that long ago, when I made the booking. Desperate phone calls to the Pass the Keys number were answered by people who seemed to be working in a call centre very far away. I got text messages from the host, but wasn't allowed to reply to them. The whole thing was enormously frustrating, and I don't want to have anything to do with Pass the Keys again.

This Oxford property is located in a central area of town and was a very comfortable place for our family of four to stay while visiting family nearby. The host was very easy to communicate with and responded right away when we had a minor issue. Even though the bus stops right outside, the noise on the upper (sleeping) levels and in the kitchen was minimal.
1.5
The only good thing about the property was its location, otherwise it was trouble all along.
The fact that we had to send our IDs to unknown entity (super-hog) and then after the payment for stay was deducted had to send the IDs on a general platform (typeform.com) was extremely concerning. All the hassle to go through these multiple online verifications was not worth it. It's strange that the property asks you to get your own coffee for a short-term letting, and provides you with coffee machine.

Liked the garden
No tourist info at property- maps etc.
very steep stairs with no railings

Zero professionalism and support. Not what an host should do.
Don’t trust anything this property asks you. I have been asked multiple “security”questions after booking this property. This seemed to be concluded, however the nightmare started 5 days before my stay. have been the victim of a phishing crime under this website and this property main chat. However, instead of verifying the issue behind this and helping refunding me the money, I have been completely ignored from both booking.com (main customer service chat and main email address case partially opened after insisting) and the property (both by the main chat and from a pre-made Booking.com complain page). I have been messaged on my booking email from what I thought was the property, I have been chased on my private phone and being told that this was just a free bank check and that I was going to be refunded as soon as confirmed that I had enough funds. If I didn't do so, my booking was going to be cancelled 5 days before my stay. I normally don't trust this type of requests, but this one was properly done through the website main address. When I had to insert my card details I was inside Booking.com, when the payment was going to be processed a private/secured page was opened and it was Booking.com. I have been told that since this payment wasn't proved with a booking payment receipt you weren't the issue. However, I have the proofs of every single conversation, the payment process and the money deducted. A full 3 night stay amount was deducted from card (£540), and you don’t care about it. You can't deny that this is not something that you shouldn’t take care of since it is something that happened to you as well. I have been a loyal customer for many years and I have trusted Booking.com professionalism since the beginning. But I was wrong.
Don’t trust this property and it’s way to make multiple checks on you, I was tricked by this “security” that I have been charged twice and not for a small amount. This is unacceptable.

location
KFC bag left in garden
stains on pillow
utensils needed to be put through dishwasher
outside furniture covered in dirt and bird poo which we had to clean
overall poor
5.0
Great location, the door was a code, so we were able to arrive easily without having to collect keys. The house was nicely decorated with nice banksy style pictures on the walls. The bedrooms were nice and comfortable, and the lounge had lots of recliner chairs which was nice and comfy to sit in.
The water wasn't very hot, so to run the bath you had to run it purely on hot water, and it was still only lukewarm. The cleaners also showed up before checkout time, wanting to start cleaning.

Pleasant and stylish accommodation that would be perfect for a small group of people. The townhouse was well-maintained and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.
I had a terrible experience with the noise level coming through the upstairs bedroom. The sound was so loud and constant that it was difficult to ignore. It felt like there was a rave party going on, and it made it challenging to climatize and adapt to the time difference.

great location
stairs were hard to get up and down
4.5
location was great, lovely character and the kitchen diner was amazing . liked the separation of bedrooms
wasn’t aware that one of the staircases was very steep - wasn’t a problem for us but could be for others
3.5
The location and the bright & airy kitchen/diner.
It is a little tired and basic. The crockery and glasses could be improve as could the quality of bed linen and towels. We did not like the prolific number of Banksy style rats!
5.0
We loved the light, bright kitchen leading onto the garden, the very central position, the cosy bedrooms and the general feel of the place. All interactions were easy and informative. Will def be back!
We loved the stairs, but they might be a bit tricky for older guests.
2.5
wasn’t as I thought
not clean enough and the shower down stairs was leaking
2.0
Location as it is only 10-15 minutes from Oxford city centre.
The kitchen is nice and modern.
The garden at the back is small but very nice.
There is Virgin TV (cable) but you only get freeview channels.
There is a bus stop right outside the front door. If you are a light sleeper or easily distracted by noise, this place is not for you as the double decker buses stop at the bus stop 24 hours a day.
When we arrived, there were only 3 forks and no dish washer tablets and dirty towels from the previous guests were left on the upstairs bathroom floor. The door handle of the ground floor bathroom was coming off with constant dripping shower in the same bathroom. We spent first hour after we arrived on the phone and by e-mails to report all these. They sent someone when we were out, who brought in some forks, dish washer tablets and fixed the door handle but didn't bother to collect the dirty towels.
They advertise the beds as 2 large doubles and 1 double. There are actually 2 double beds and a large double. When I raised that with booking.com, they said the property management told them the information I provided was incorrect. How could that be the case? We slept on them. It is also obvious from the pictures on the web site. See the photos I took.
They basically mis-sold a product but booking.com was not interested, which was very disappointing. By the way, the property management is called Pass the Key. I will avoid them in the future for advertising wrong product and not accepting their liability. Will be mindful using booking.com in the future too as they were very unhelpful and are happy to sell wrongly described products.
Like some other reviewers mentioned, the staircases are narrow and not suitable for elderly or large individuals.
Neighbors seem to enjoy very loud music after midnight. It is not properties fault but that kept us awake for couple of hours for two nights.
Check out time is at 11am but we had a knock on the door at 10:15 am. When I told him that it was not 11am yet, the guy at the door repeatedly, and with a smile on his face, said 'No English'. So the company clearly uses foreign work force without proper training.

Location was excellent.
The process of getting key code was stressfull from pass the keys, finding property when we arrived in the area was not good.
4.5
Comfortable house, excellent amenities. Very modern technology. Loved the beautiful garden. Easy access to centre of Oxford by bus or could walk. Shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants all close by.
Stairs to bedrooms very steep and narrow so probably unsuitable for the elderly.
4.5
Great location. Spacious house. Comfy beds. Very lovely garden, well curated and inviting! That was a highlight.
Good communication with the owner.
Few more toilet rolls wouldn’t have hurt (there were one and a half in total for 2 bathrooms, no spare ones)
4.5
really lovely size lovely and light had plenty of room for us all and was really clean!
the beds were quite uncomfortable

We had Costa near the location and cooked breakfast city centre, ate and drank in city centre, and had an Indian takeaway for our last evening
Taxis was pricey which was to be expected, and perhaps should mention that parking a night is an extra £20 a night some people need to budget it’s a big chunk of spending money
3.5
good location and great light
carpets and floors were a little dirty.
