Location was excellent, breakfast was what we expected, room was spacious and comfortable
House needs to be modernised,

Reasonable location for visiting Oxford!
Dark, rather peculiar place with odd arrangements checking in and out. Nobody around, not very clean and very tired decor!
3.8
Sehr gute Lage mit direkten Bus Anschluss
Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, es muss viel renoviert werden. Die Matratzen sind durch gelegen.

Great location for the city

Nice garden. Decent breakfast options.
This was good value for money option.

Breakfast was delicious, and the service was great!!
The internet connection wasn’t great in my room

Central location in Oxford. Easy to walk or bus anywhere we needed to go. Well shaded property. Quiet location, other than some road noise.
Nothing.
3.8
Good location.
Renovation would be necessary.

Location was quite convenient even though outside the city. Bus stop is right outside the property. Took family day pass to get to city and back, both the days. To spend nights mainly, for the price, i would say it's quite a good choice. Breakfast was quite descent, with egg, toast, cereals, fruits, juices, coffee. Good restaurants in walking distance around the property for evening meals mainly.
Bed could have been a bit more comfortable. The top floor family room entrance was crammed with extra bed, making it difficult to get in and out of the room. The height of roof on both sides above the beds is quite low, had to be careful.

Staff were exceptionally helpful with providing directions.
Shower head caked with limescale, mold and mildew

Location was excelent
Price was good/cheap
Mattress (old)
Toilet - a shelf inconveniently located above the sink making very challenging to use it / brush teeth.
The whole place looks dated and shows signs of heavy use.
3.8
There was a poo in the toilet when i arrived
Apparent thin walls, very noisy from ajoining room
Breakfast although £8 was very lacking
Shouting from kitchen when staff got orders wrong

Bath
All was fine.

The window in the roof didn't shut properly, there's was a draft

very clean.

Friendly, welcoming staff. Clean and comfortable room. Good selection of continental breakfast

Location by bus stop in to city
Many areas of the building in need of remedial work, paint work needs a wash and touch up including front windows which are the first thing you see on arrival
3.8
location, clean, good room size, free parking available, warm. very quiet room despite being on main road with buses going past regularly, absolutely no noise disturbance
bed small double, really not big enough even two pillows side by side overhung the bed. bathroom clean but very dilapidated cracked tiles in shower, plenty of hot water but low water pressure, shelves above sink restricted access to sink. No visitor information in room at all, not even a map of the city. Also payment requested in full on arrival before even seeing room which I find very unusual.
3.8
The room was fairly big despite small en suite but at least self contained.
Shower fitting was falling off the wall.
Hook on back of door fell off when I put a towel on it.
TV cable was barely fitting in the socket- very precarious.
Lightbulb out in bathroom.
3.8
The building, the size of the room and the dinning room were fair
The towels were very old and very small. The heating was on even when it was quite warm. We couldn't open the windows because of the noise. The quilt was too thick so we all were too warm to sleep well.
