Nestled in the Bush overlooking Lake Okareka this spacious and modern 3 bedroom home is the perfect getaway for the family of just a couple. Wake to the sound of birdsong and enjoy the sounds of nature, no traffic or noise of the city. All living is on the ground floor with an open plan kitchen, lounge and dining room. bush around the house was lovely. it was quite a steep driveway tho. house was very comfortable and warm. was clean except for some dirty cups and mugs in the top drawer. good location to Rotorua. easy and good communication with owners. kids loved the spa.

Property was good overall. The double bed was too had for out guests and they couldn't wait to leave.No bedside lamps in the double room either. Our queen bed was very comfortable. Lots of wood for rhe fire box ...thank you.

There is nothing like walking bear foot on soft woollen carpets while talking in jungle or beautiful views from the many windows. We all loved this home. The hosts had thought of everything you could need.

Thankyou for the beautiful relaxing homestay, we loved the relaxed feeling this home provided nestled in the forest, the only thing we could all say was that the beds were quite uncomfortable and for 6 adults there was only one small oven dish to cook in. The rooms would benefit with some mirrors too, this is not negative feedback just something that may help the owners look to improve in the future :) otherwise everything else was perfect!!

Amazing outlook and very tranquil settings, loved how quiet and relaxing the property was. All the family loved it for the peace and quiet, the close proximity to the Redwoods and for the space in the home for us to have a home away from home for the long weekend.

Close to Rotorua, in a peaceful area right next to lake Okareka. The view from the deck is truly enjoyable with the surrounding hills. The bach is spacious and confortable. A few details: the gate around the fire place is not ideal (but understand it is a security feature for kids most likely). And it would be nice to have more glasses in the kitchen (other than plastic ones). Overall, we did enjoy our stay and would recommand it to others!

We had a fantastic three nights at the property. Great location, less than 10 mins from the Redwoods and perfect amount of space for us and our two kids. The property had everything we needed to make ourselves at home and perfect for exploring Rotorua from. We will be back.
