What a lovely little house on a hill with a great view! There is everything you need with parking right outside the door. Windows open in both the living area and bedroom. There is a small fridge and kitchenette to enable self-catering.
We always find microwave ovens useful in a kitchenette. Stairs are steep, but didn't bother us as we are used to that, however might be an issue for some. Hard to cool down the bedroom in summer even with the window open and fan on.

,No food store or restaurant nearby. Have to go back to city for dinner and breakfast
the sink in toilet is too small.

Remote location with huge windows facing the sea and mountains.
Not for someone have issue with stairs.

Great accommodation just north of Akureyri with beautiful views and was well equipped. Very cosy warm cabins. Easy quick drive into town. We were there 3 nights and saw the Northern Lights 2 out of the 3 nights we were there! :)

House with a wonderful design and big windows to enjoy an amazing landscape. That view is something you won’t forget. Cozy and clean, you will find everything you need to cook, few minutes drive from Akureyri.

The key to this property is the self-contained, freestanding unit, over-looking the Fjord. ( Unit 2). There is no TV, but with those large windows looking out at the world who could want one. We were able to prepare meals with the small but good facilities, & had access to a laundry for the vital re-stock of clean clothes.
The price was high.

The view on fjord and mountains.
Nothing.

Very well located with stunning views and very close to the town.
A little too hot for my comfort even with the windows open

Location is very good. Design is good.
Bathroom is uncomfortable because everything is too tight together.

Bedroom upstairs
The drain in the shower was not working properly and could not have a shower longer than a minute. If I did, the shower would overflow and flood the bathroom, so I had to have a number of showers around the 1 minute mark, then turn it off and wait for the water to be drained before I kept showering. A bit disappointing.

Beautiful little house, out of the city but only 13 mins away from Akureyri. The owner Karl is friendly and helpful. The little house is nice and warm with underfloor heating and everything needed for making a home cooked meal. It was a lovely experience staying in a little house.
Nothing really.

Nice cozy little house with views to the Fjord. Very close to Akureiry, where you can find many restaurants.
Living room as huge windows, kitchen has everything needed to prepare your meals. Coffee machine and coffee pods available. There was a small milk in the fridge that made me super happy to drink with my coffee.
Bathroom is rather small but works perfeclly. Make sure you open the bathroom window a little bit when you take shower.
Room is upstairs, big and confortable bed.
You can park your car just outside and when you book you can book the house of yout preference that is available.
The houses are just 9 minute drive away from Forest Lagoon

Located to on the eastern bank of the fjord, in a decent neighborhood, with a nice view on the mountains on the other side. Quite close to Akureyri. Small but comfortable. Perfect for a quiet stay near the city and located in short distance from the old ringroad (goes over Víkurskarð, replaced by the tunnel route).
Some of the dishes were rather dirty upon arrival. This is clearly the fault of previous guests, but might be checked before the next guests are welcomed. The stairs to the bed are rather small and steep. The bed is rather soft, but this is a matter of taste, of course.

the location was very cool!!! the view was amazing!!!!!!
the cabins where a little close to eachother but it’s not like they can change that….I was trying to take pictures of the northern lights and our neighbours kept turning on big lights with made it hard to take good pictures…

It is a small and cozy house in Akureyri. You have all domestic tools to cook, but the highlight is the view. You have a fantastic view to the lake and mountains. We saw the northern lights seatted in front of our house. It was amazing.
Staying for just one day.

The property is cosy and comfortable. The huge windows gives you a beautiful view of the bay and mountains. Kitchen is small but has everything you need for a one night stay. Binoculars were a nice added extra so you could watch the scenery on the bay.
The property is a bit on the small side. There is really little space to place your bags. The bathroom is also very tiny.
