Beautiful location

Beautiful location situated on a lake. Paul was very welcoming and helpful. Room was immaculate and had everything we could need. The home made soap from their own bees was a nice touch.

Absolute Gem!

Sue & Paul were unbelievably helpful and responsive to requests prior to our arrival and made the stay absolutely perfect.

That we were only able to stay the one night.

Excellent overnight stay

The views were lovely, and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Inside, there was a heating system, tea making facilities, and a proper shower and bathroom. Will certianly stay here again.

Exceptional

The room was absolutely perfect for what we wanted - peace and quite in a beautiful location. The owner Paul was extremely friendly and gave us all details that we needed of the area. Really relaxed day/night in a sedate quiet setting. Would definitely return and recommend.

The best ever, no one could beat this cosy place

Absolutely everything. Location, gardens, walks, heated ensuit floors, extremely tasteful and modern facilities, the owners had thought of everything to make your stay very comfortable and couldn't do enough for you. Best ever.

Just take Swinderby out of the address please, it is confusing.

The property was absolutely perfect, could not want for anything more. Sue and Paul have made a stunning job of ensuring everything is there for everyone’s needs… fabulous ..

nothing apart from I wasn’t staying there long enough as so relaxing … but I will be back

Perfect home from home!

From the most wonderful greeting upon arrival to a beautiful text upon leaving, such a perfect stay. The hosts are welcoming and friendly, the room itself was just what I needed, coffee machine, lots of hanging space, large bathroom and underfloor heating throughout. Theres an iron, microwave, toaster, plates, cutlery and wine/champagne glasses, literally everything you need. The view itself is just beautiful. Handmade honey soap was a unique touch (made with honey from the bees on the field). If I come up again, I'm staying here! X

Good for a mini break but not suitable for a long stay in its current format.

The unit was well equipped, very clean and in a peaceful setting. The welcome was very friendly. We would return when the unit has been enlarged.

It was a bit too small for us for more than a two night stay. The space for the small fridge, toaster and microwave was a bit too compact. It was difficult to use these items and go into the bathroom as both doors opened into each other. I believe the hosts are going to extend the unit which will be much better.

Excellent place to stay, host is very welcoming. The name says it all, fresh flowers, great coffee machine, and homemade honey bee soap. Local takeaway does a great shish kebab would highly recommend this place to stay.

What a wonderful find - wish we’d found it sooner!

What a wonderful find! We loved everything about this property, the location, the facilities, the owners who were so amenable and friendly and could not do enough for us. We were scheduled to go for a pub meal that evening but decided to stay in as it was just so comfortable and we had everything we needed. From a woman’s perspective, it had all those little extras that only a woman understands - extra coat hangers, facial cosmetic pads, a plug socket NEAR a full length mirror, lots of tea, coffee, and biscuit options, microwave, coffee machine, a hair dryer which was super powerful. They even provided an ice bucket AND some ice cubes too from their outside bar area. The bed was extremely comfortable hence why we didn’t want to leave it and the decorations and furnishings second to none. Tranquil, peaceful and oh, there were even a pair of binoculars to seek out the beautiful wildlife around the gorgeously manicured lawns and lake! Without a doubt, we will be returning as we stay in this area quite often. You will not be disappointed! Our hosts Susie & Paul were wonderful and made sure our stay was perfect- thank you 😊 David & Louise x

Beautiful, peaceful getaway

We had a fantastic stay at Field's Edge. Just what we wanted, peace and quiet. Susie greeted us on arrival.and couldn't have made us feel more welcome. Paul was lovely when we left. They are lovely hosts 😊. The room itself was really well done. Very clean and cosy. It had everything needed with beautiful views and walk around the lake. We would love to come back and spend a couple of nights next time. Thank you 😊

Our hosts Paul and Sue couldn’t have been friendlier.

Fantastic,, this property was like staying in a 5 star boutique hotel. Bathroom was incredible, comfortable bedroom and absolutely spotless.

nearly went to the Heaven, so calm and relax

Paul and Susie are very caring and welcome. They provide lovely flowers, fresh milk, shampoo,conditioner. The place is Wow,Wow.... so relaxing, we can hear bird singing, we pass by the lake, see the full moon at night, really enjoy...
