Very clean and a great location. Host was great in helping us reschedule as we had to cancel at last minute due to emergency

Nice vacation area Peaceful and relaxing

Our four year old and 7 year old wanted to go "camping and see elk". We booked this house because of the covered pavilion, firepit, and hot tub. The house was very clean, plenty of space, lots of sleeping spaces. We had no issue at all with the house. The house was VERY close to seeing many elk. We didn't have to drive far to see elk, turkey, deer, fox. We plan to re-book in the future for sure! They were building a house next door so there was a lot of loud noises and heavy equipment going throughout the day, but that's out of their control. Overall, it was a great stay and can't wait to come back.

We stayed here for a quick weekend getaway with family. It was so relaxing and the house was just as described. The fire pit was a huge hit for smores and mountain pies. Will def be coming back!!

Beautiful cabin. So big. My son was in his glory. My mom was blown away and so was myself and my husband. Super clean. Didn’t get to use the hot tub. But it was a great get away for us! Quiet & peaceful great to unwind from the hustle and bustle of life!!

We had a wonderful time with our family at the elk lodge terrace. It was secluded and private. We loved the amenities, especially the hot tub. It was a very nice and relaxing weekend.

The cabin was beautiful. Over all a great place to visit.

It was fantastic! Loved the property and the house. Had an amazing time

The house is nice, but very expensive. This seems due to the location and not many options in the area. It is located well for elk viewing, hiking and taking in the beautiful, local scenery.
We were there with 2 other couples for a total of 6 adults. It says it sleeps 13 people, but with only two bathrooms, that seems to be a stretch. The two bedrooms, plus the large loft areas provided enough privacy for 3 couples, but anyone else sleeping there would have been sharing a sleeping area or been in a common area.
The day we departed for our trip we were told that the hot tub was not working. It was one of the reasons that we chose the house and we were disappointed. They have offered us a very small refund for the inconvenience.
In summary, a nice place, but expensive due to lack of local supply.

The property was fine. We have stayed here before. The only disappointment was that the hot tub did not work. There was water under the control panel making it inoperable. Otherwise it was good

Great location was able to hear the elk bugle close by… The cleaning fee seems a little high as there were dirty stinky towels in the washer upon arrival and other items found other the bed from other guests…The damage protection room fee is for what?? Can you use that to replace the missing TV remote that apparently has been addressed by other guests per the note left on the TV… the house is to sleep 13 people but there are not enough silverware for 13 people… Overall great location have some areas of improvement within the home..

Great get away cabin, well maintained! Everything as it was advertised!!! Would definitely book again!!

This place is awesome. We will definitely be back. Not one bad thing to say. We all had a great time. Elk during March seem to be harder to find but we had a great relaxing weekend.

Great place to get away from it all! Definitely enjoyed this roomy Cabin!

We booked our cabin a month in advance. they made us paid everything prior to arrival. the day we got there it was a snow storm and the path to acess the cabin was blocked with snow! we got stuck there with our car over 3 hours not able to acess the cabin, after finally got out back to the roadt we contacted the host to asked for help to access the property they said that unfurtenetly there is nothing they can do and they don't provide any cleaning of snow service. we had to go look for a hotel to sleep and paid more money. after requesting our FULL REFUND since we wasn't able to get to the cabin ,EVOLVE sent us an email stating that we will not get our money back because this is the policy !!!!!!!!! DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS SCAMMERS EVER

The property was magnificent. Splendid views and close to elk viewing areas. We even had elk come near the property. Everyone had a great time.

This was our 5th trip out to Benezette and it did not disappoint. The cabin was clean and ready when we arrived. The view was great as the leaves were changing. Beds are comfortable and lots of towels provided. We enjoyed the hot tub one evening. We knew to bring prepared meals with us for most of the days and we had a sandwich at the hotel in town for one evening. Everything you need is provided in the cabin. But bring shampoo and soap. There is a new coffee shop in town where you can also eat lunch. We went to the visitor's center one evening and saw elk as well as elk along the road from town up to the cabin. Bring your binoculars! It was rutting season so you hear lots of buggling and one night I heard a pack of coyotes.
We did a few walks around the property and down the road. We also spent some time on the Quehanna highway looking at scenery and Table Falls.
We had two days of rainy weather and one day that was sunny so we were able to just sit outside and enjoy the mountain air.

Great communication with any questions we had. No complaints. Well equipped for a large family ( 11) of all ages from 2 years old up to 73

We were very happy with our recent stay. It was a 40th anniversary getaway for my parents (my dad’s an outdoor enthusiast who has wanted us to go see the elk for years, so it was the perfect opportunity to kill two birds with one stone). Overall the house was very clean but I did mark it down in that area because I found the fly swatter stored in the silverware drawer. 🤮 After rectifying that situation we were very satisfied with our stay and would recommend a visit for anyone.

Wonderful Family Cabin
Took our family, 8 adults and 4 grandsons to the Elk Terrace Lodge for 5 days. It was a wonderful experience and plenty of room for everyone. Sleeping accomodations worked well and plenty of space to relax. The wooded area with covered picnic pavilion and fire ring was nice for evening meals and s'mores around the campfire. Additional amenities such as the hot tub, large front yard, off road safety and quietness of the woods were much appreciated. Would book this cabin again. Great family gathering and elk seeing experience.

Beautiful Cabin and Great Location - Family Memories Made!
Our family had a lot of fun at this cabin near Benezette. Some highlights were sitting in the hot tub while listening to the elk bugle, throwing discs in the yard, playing games together in the pavilion on a rainy day, and watching bull elk fight in a field a mile from the cabin. The cabin was clean and the hosts were wonderful. We were notified before we arrived that there was a water pipe burst (on a Sunday) and they worked overtime to fix the problem and then refunded us some for the problem. Thanks for the great work!

Memorable Enjoyable Getaway
A very enjoyable and peaceful stay. The set up is excellent. The loft is heavenly. To just wake, enjoy the woods and scenery immediately is a piece of heaven. The evening meal on the grill with a nice long walk is very tranquil. To ease away any tiredness the hot tub is the answer. Strolls along the roadways for elk is something that can't be done at our home. Deer and turkey make a peaceful viewing event when people are not around. It all can be a peace of heaven!

Location location location!
Loved the location of the house.. top of a hill and very quiet. We got to see the Milky Way! It was within short walking distance to hiking and elk viewing. It was a really cute house.. loved all the personal touches! There was plenty sleeping space for our party of six.
Two downsides- the oven wasn’t working. I’m sure they would have sent a maintenance person to fix, but appliances should be checked before guests arrive. We tried to use it within an hour of arriving and it didn’t work. I really didn’t want a maintenance person working on an oven in our shared space we were going to spend so much time in, so I just let them know it wasn’t working so new guests wouldn’t have a problem.
Be prepared for lack of counter space. Since the closest substantial grocery store is over a half hour away, we brought our own provisions. No pantry and limited counter space made it a challenge to place everything. They do have a full size refrigerator and nice stackable washer and dryer, as well as a dishwasher. Two good size bathrooms, but the upstairs one has the weirdest shower set up.. two regular shower heads face one another on opposite sides of a regular tub. Ended up being hard for shorter people to shower without getting hair wet since the only place to put shampoo and soap was lower than the shower heads.

Benezette Lodge, Benezette, PA
First time visiting Benezette. Couldn't be more pleased with our accommodations. Cabin is beautifully appointed. The amenities, cleanliness, surroundings all perfect - more than we could hope for. Highly recommend this property for you stay in Benezette. We were NOT disappointed - elk sightings throughout our stay. If it's elk you traveled for, make your way down to Ruffo Flats, right behind the local/downtown gas station - sure to please! We do plan to return next year!

Very nice, well kept and clean property. This house worked out very good for our group of 5. It was convenient to be able to cook breakfast at home every day. Unfortunately for us due to the weather we were unable to enjoy the outside amenities with the expectation of the hot tub which was relaxing. We didn't see any elk on the property but we saw large amount very near by. We are already making plans to bring our grandkids back next year.

The cabin itself is beautiful. Upon our arrival, we had trouble getting the gate to open. When putting in the code, it would just blink and beep and not open. There is no cell service in area so couldn’t call anyone. We stopped at gift shop to use their phone, and they told me Chuck at the wine shop could help. Which he did. We had problems each time we left and returned. I was later informed someone had recently hit the gate and it needed repair. At the cabin, I put in the last 4 digits of my phone number to open the door. That also did not work. We were able to connect our phone to WiFi and called Tim. The wrong number was entered for the code. The other problem was the air conditioning upstairs would not work. Directions are also confusing but upon talking to Tim again, we did everything right but it did not work. It was 81 degrees upstairs. The other issue was one day there was no water at all in the cabin. I left a message with Tim. It did come back hours later and Tim follow up. Both Tim and Chuck were very helpful and apologized for our difficulties. There are some maintenance and safety issues that need to be addressed. The floor vent cover in downstairs bedroom was not secure to floor and would slide off. Someone could injure their foot/ankle. The door knobs on closet come off, they not secure. The sink in upstairs bathroom is not secured to floor and moves when touched. It was frustrating having many issues and having to call for them while on a few day vacation. Probably would not book this cabin again.
