Such an amazing view right on the lake. Couldn't be any closer without being IN the water!

We absolutely love this home! This is our second time staying here and we have already booked it again for next year. The house is in a perfect location, with views that are breath-taking!. The house is extremely well stocked with anything you can possible need. The outside deck and area with the firepit were super relaxing. The Host was very communicative. We love staying here!

We - adult couple - had a Saturday to Saturday rental in late June. We also had two single family members visit for one night each. This is a case where the on-line photos accurately show how special this house is. The house itself is charming, and ideal for smaller groups...our guests were delighted with the loft bedroom and bath. It also is the BEST equipped home I've rented in 40-odd years of vacation rentals. There is absolutely nothing that isn't provided. But apart from the style and comfort of the house is the spectacular view of Lake Champlain...from the house, from the deck, and from the terrace below. During our week we had quite varied weather, from stormy and windy with whitecaps, to sunny, warm and dead calm. And the lake was fascinating at all times. And toss in several stunning sunsets. A final major plus is the close availability of several very fine dining options, both more formal for dinner and casual for lunches...so it's certainly not necessary to cook at home very often. Bottom line: we loved our week here and plan to go back!

You absolutely cannot beat the setting. I'm in the moment to pull it off of the street. It's magical. This will be our third year in a row and we've already booked the fourth year.

An amazingly cheerful, clean, cozy cabin with stunning views of Lake Champlain! The kitchen was well-appointed and the beds extremely comfortable. The home is well-decorated and cared for. Even the grounds were well manicured with beautiful plants and flowers on the deck. Our kids enjoyed swimming and fishing off the dock. Communication with the owner was easy. We'd definitely stay here again!

We have rented here twice and absolutely fell in love with the home's location right on the edge of the lake sitting on a modest cliff with access to a dock. Sunsets are beautiful along with the occasional sailboat, fisherman and wildlife. Great firepit area and chaise lounge chair area set up to the side. We enjoyed visiting the local restaurants, general store and golf course along with day trips to Burlington, Stowe and Montreal.

This house is fantastic. The housekeeper is a love. The contact person had sadly died and Evolve never knew. They also charged us $1,000 more for the property than it was being rented for the following week. If you can get this property without them involved I recommend it %100, it is gorgeous!

Lovely home on the lake with beautiful sunsets every night. Home is best suited for 4 overnight guests, as the nook doesn’t provide any privacy. We loved the fire pit and the kitchen is very user friendly for dinners cooked to perfection. Water access not user friendly, short ladder on tall peer, but water level is low. Instructions for home use might be helpful for future guests.

Gorgeous view!!
Family of 5 with 3 teenage boys: the view is amazing, right on the water, boys enjoyed skipping rocks, hammock was lovely, loungers were perfect for morning coffee, kitchen is well stocked, dining room table is surrounded by windows on 3 sides, master bedroom has great views of the lake as well, sun setter awning was great for shade on the deck. We booked a sailing tour in Burlington and an e-bike tour in Montreal, highly recommend. Bring your bikes if you can.

Quintessential Lakeside Cottage
This is the second time I’ve stayed at the North Hero cottage on Pelots Point. Whoever designed this home thought of every possible detail! It is also decorated impeccably including many lovely original pieces of art. In the perfect location to explore North Hero and adjacent islands, it also is situated to take in the amazing sunsets over the lake.
If you are looking for a lakeside cottage, definitely stay here! You will be delighted!

Beautiful place in great location
My family (husband/wife/kids 14 & 11) stayed here for a week in late June. We were looking for a quiet, relaxed getaway and this place was perfect for us. First - the property: well-designed, very clean and well maintained inside & out, very modern feeling, plenty of amenities. One note for awareness - the loft bedroom doesn't have a door and it has openings to hear down to the first floor. We liked feeling connected, but just be aware if you prefer more privacy that only the main bedroom has a door.. The location is amazing - only one house next door but otherwise it's on a low traffic, low noise road. The views of Lake Champlain are amazing from both the deck and the dock. We swam in the lake (with watershoes - slippery rocks) and kayaked. There are a few small stores (Hero's welcome ~ 5 minutes and Harborside Market ~ 10 minutes) that can stock you up, but just be aware that the nearest big grocery store is ~40 minutes away. We loved this place and highly recommend.

An amazing retreat on the lake!
Alan's property was super clean and well maintained. The property was exactly as advertised. Check in was simple and there were plenty of amenities that we were able to bring in all our food for three days and rarely needed to go out. The view of the lake was amazing!

Gorgeous getaway spot
We had never visited North Hero before and really enjoyed our stay in the Sugar Shack. It was really well appointed, excellent amenities and space for a family of four. The view of the lake is unforgettable, and we were stunned by the nightly sunsets on the water from the porch and dock. Highly recommend.
