Our family needed a large place for a get together. It was just the right size!

Might be helpful to prep renters that driveway is VERY steep!
Home is nice but in need of updating…
All mattresses in main floor bedrooms and in downstairs bedroom need replacing. Extremely firm - rock hard. One pillow in twin bedroom needs replacing.
Would definitely recommend dehumidifier in basement. Bedroom on that floor feels wet.
Check your Internet list of do’s for furnace and air conditioner rules for leaving…. One page says turn air conditioner off. Thankfully we looked at paper on frig.
Totally understand need for rules, because of inconsiderate guests. Have never been told to put away clean dishes from dishwasher…just start it before leaving. We all abided by the no shoes in the house rule, since we’re used to that at home. But imagine that is hard for some.
Nice deck and furniture there.
Good seating in family room.

Great property except for the roads to get there - too curvy and very steep driveway.

Great property - secluded but not too far out of the way. Taxi service came out with no problem. Party in Mars Hill and a day in Asheville - great weekend

The home worked very well for my family get together. There was plenty of room, the house was clean and communication with Cam was easy. I wish the game tables had been in a warmer spot - it was cold and damp when we were there so didn’t get to use them.

The property was beautiful and the perfect size for our family. However. I should have done more research. It was a little farther away from our activities and the drive was up the mountain was not for the faint of heart. It was a wonderful time!

Beautiful home in a nice quiet, out-of-the-way, the mountains, clean, well-maintained, and taken care of was a joy to stay in.

Pictures matched the property. Cam the manager was absolutely amazing. 5/5 stars easily. Will be back next year. Highly recommend.

It’s a great place for a little gateway. Very beautiful views and plenty of games for the kids to play inside in the house and in the garage. The property manager also was very responsive. It is quite steep and narrow road and driveway to the house. We were not impacted but if there was snow or ice, I couldn’t see it how we would have been able to make it. Overall, a great stay and nice place for family vacation!

Thank you for opening your home up to us. The home is breathtaking, the fall foliage views were beautiful. Our daughter got ready for her wedding here and it was more than I could have dreamed of!

Had a great time in Ashville our first trip. Rented e bikes and had dinner at OMNI resort and went to Mount Mitchell to see beautiful fall color along Blue Ridge Parkway.

I stayed with 7 friends. We had everything we needed. David was close by in case we had any hiccups, but we had none.

Mountain Getaway
The house is lovely. Our group included 2 ten year old girls, grandma, and mom & dad. We enjoyed playing games in the evening. The view is beautiful and the night sky is full of stars. Our focus was visiting Asheville; once we were out for the day we stayed out until after dinner. We did not cook in the house; there was plenty of equipment in the kitchen. This is a perfect house for a large group of people.

Thanksgiving Family Gathering
We are grateful for family time together spent at Glenridge Falls.
Definitely plan to arrive for the first time before dark; this is the mountains, after all, and the roads are narrow, steep, and curvy. Once you enter the subdivision it is a one lane road, and gravel as you approach the house. That said, the views the next morning from the deck, and even inside, were lovely!
There was ample space to accommodate our family of nine. We enjoyed ping pong tournaments and our grandchildren loved playing with the basket of stuffed animals. The whole family appreciated the availability of Roku and internet access.
The downstairs bedroom and bath are heated, but you have to cross through the unheated garage/ game room/laundry area to access the main living areas. Bring slippers! That floor is cold. However, the living room has a gas-log fireplace which added a toasty ambience in the evenings.
There is easy access to Weaverville (we enjoyed Twisted Laurel, Blue Mountain Pizza, and the Well-Bred Bakery), Asheville, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We were able to hike several local trails. Though the weather was chilly (highs in the 40s) we had no snow and the roads remained clear.
The owners responded quickly to a couple of small questions we had. Thank you, Cam, for allowing us to use your house for our family gathering this Thanksgiving!

Perfect house and mountain views
The house was perfect for our gathering of 5 friends. There was enough space and comfort for everyone. The views are amazing and the house had everything that we needed. Camille was super quick to respond to the one question I had. This house is a great option if you'd like to be in the mountains, but not too far away from town.

Very nice place
We enjoyed our stay and the host responded in a short timeframe when needed. Just be aware that if it snows the access is steep and unless you have a four wheel you might have an issue but the view is nice and it is very peaceful.

Mountain Escape
Property was as listed. Plenty of room with all items that we needed. Parking for several vehicles was slightly difficult due to steep driveway. Was convenient to most tourist areas. We enjoyed our stay

Peaceful getaway
Had a great stay at the property, the view from the deck will have you sitting there all day. Grocery store is about 15-20 mins away as well as Asheville so FYI, it really wasn't much of an issue. The owner was very communicative and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Perfect for our Needs
This house was perfect for our needs for our extended family vacation. There was space to spread out when we were at the house and it was conveniently located to everything we wanted to do!

Relaxing Mountain Top Vacation
We stayed at this mountain top home with family and friends. It was perfect for our needs. We were able to do things that the whole family enjoyed like visiting antique shops, horseback riding, hikes to see waterfalls, visiting small towns around the cabin. At night we were able to have family dinners, play games, do jigsaw puzzles. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place in the mountains
Great week in mountains with the house serving as our base for exploring Asheville and hiking the surrounding areas. Centrally located to get to hiking spots on Roan Mtn up north and Brevard and Pisgah to the south. Weaverville just a short drive for breakfast quiche at the Yellow mug coffee lounge. Can’t wait for our next family vacation!

Spacious home with a gorgeous, long-range view
This home was the perfect space for my family to spend a relaxing week together. The tranquil setting and spacious deck was an inviting place to have coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening, all while enjoying the sounds of the adjacent stream and nature. The proximity of the home to Weaverville and Asheville were close enough to explore both areas. Thank you Camille for sharing your lovely home with us.

Overall good, but roads are tight and in snow dangerous
Property was very good. Only complaint on the property - not enough water for the hot tub. As for location, that hill is very steep, could not go up it on the day we arrived due to the snow, so parked on the bottom, shoveled it the next morning and then parked by the house.

We loved the house, but not the location
Great house & we enjoyed our stay. However, the location is not in Weaverville, so we had ALOT of extra driving in the winter we did not plan for. Including a snow storm that prevented us from staying in the house 2 nights because of the roads & drive way. Four wheel drive is needed in the winter!! Also a few things needed to be fixed & stated accurately in the description. It is a very nice home, but needs to be upfront about the location.

Fishing Near Ashville
This house was a perfect fit for our family of 2 children, their spouses, 2 grandchildren and me and my husband. Each family had their own bath. Great! One family cooked dinner each night and the kitchen worked great as long as the rest of us stayed away. The deck did have gorgeous views, except it rained 3 out of 4 days. My biggest complaint is that this house is 10 miles east of Weaverville which greatly impacted the departure times for my fisherman husband and son. Take the Route 197 to get there. Not very steep like the other way.

Property is as described. It’s a beautiful area. This comment is an awareness for future guests. The last mile to property is a very steep grade so be cautious. We parked two trucks, two trailers, and unloaded/loaded motorcycles at the property every day and it was a challenge. Also, the drive to/from property was faster and not as steep coming from Barnardsville vs. Weaverville.

A little slice of heaven!
Our family had a wonderful stay at this sweet little mountain house tucked away in the woods but near the attractions of Asheville. The house is open concept and nice and clean. The views from the front porch were our absolute favorite! Great way to start your day. We enjoyed slow mornings and big breakfasts in the well stocked kitchen. The kitchen has everything you’d need and more! Tons of plates and dishes and all of the pots and pans! We had easy drives into Asheville for lunch and also loved the cute local Weaverville spots. Well Bred bakery and the pizza place were our favorites! Can’t wait to come back and visit again!

Great house for our purpose
We were here for a wedding at Fields of BlackBerry Cove. It only took us 10 minutes to get to the venue which was nice. Loved Weaverville which was very nice, enjoyed our time there.

Lovely mountain retreat
Wonderful views, nicely furnished and very comfortable. The 3 bedrooms on the main and upper levels are well appointed. The owner was very responsive to my check-in emails. This is perfect if you are looking for quiet, peaceful surroundings in the heart of nature. It’s also very conveniently located close to the Fields of Blackberry Cove, a popular destination wedding venue. We would happily stay there again.

Beautiful home with a beautiful view.
It slept our party of nine comfortably, clean, and beautiful. The location and winding roads surprised us some but the nearby town was charming. We would recommend this house.

Mountain family wedding trip
The original listing on VRBO indicated that the home was within walking distance of the Weaverville main street area. It was in fact about a15 minute drive away. We were booked Thursday through Monday but left on Sunday morning because during the night Friday night we were awoken by a big hard shell bug crawling on me under the covers. A little unsettling. We could not leave on Saturday because the wedding was that evening. Owner may need to have some pest control work done. We experinced this in the ground floor bedroom. Moving fron this bedroom from within the house requires that you to go through the garage to reach the second floor. Not the cleanest route. Otherwise the house was very nice with good ocean views. Clean with the exception of the toilets. David
