My fiance and I got to enjoy the beautiful town and plaza not far from the property. We also only had about a 30 minute drive tot the resort. The hot-tub was very clean and since it was winter we had no bugs other than ants. Close up your food if you bring any as there are a few ants. For the price, its a gem.

Very nice location. Shower is tiny, and there is no oven in the unit.

Guest host did not respond to my need for internet
I arrived June 12; could not connect to the internet. Texted guest host-she did not respond (she says she did but I have no text nor a phone call from her). I had to leave one day early because I needed Internet for a business meeting that could not be rescheduled. I have tried to contact Evolve-after 30 minutes, I was disconnected. they have not responded to my email.

We really enjoyed our stay. Here are the Pros:
> Location. Close to DT Taos, only a short drive to Taos ski area.
> Price. This is a great deal for the area.
> Very clean.
> Attentive host with fast response times.
> Clean hot tub. We were lucky enough to have it all to ourselves.
CONS:
> The shower is super tiny. OK for a couple nights, but not longer. Ladies, definitely don't plan to shave in the shower - there's not room!
> Noise. If there are people staying in the upstairs unit, you will hear every. single. move. Bring ear plugs.
> Carport positioning. It's nice bc it's private/in the alley, but when cars pull in, the headlights shine directly into the downstairs unit. Since downstairs is a studio, if someone pulls in and you're in bed, your "bedroom" all the sudden is flooded with bright light. Bring an eye mask.

Great location and cozy accommodations. Nice private fenced patio area and grill. Flat screen TV by the bed, slightly awkward for watching Football games but given the great location, most people would be out all day at the plaza.

We loved the location of this property & served our purposes well. Our pups were comfortable as well.
The only drawback of the property was the very small shower. We were unable to lift our arms over our heads to shampoo or turn around at all without hitting our elbows against the wall. Hard to relax when you can’t take a decent shower. Also no hair dryer.

When we arrived the cleanliness of the property was not acceptable. We sent pictures to Evolve Management and they immediately refunded our money. Evolve gave us the phone number for VRBO Relocation; after 46 minutes on the phone and most of it on hold, no one answered and we received no assistance.

Rough start...
Nobody was home when we arrived to check in. Two large trucks occupied the driveway and the street in front of the house. The yard was unmowed and there was construction materials and waste in the yard and on the porch. Fortunately, the mother of the owner saw me looking around from her home across the street. She came out and asked what I was doing. After she was convinced of my intentions, she showed me to the VRBO unit through a small space between the unit and a fence. When we reached the front door (which actually faces a narrow alley behind the address we were given) we discovered that a key was broken off in the lock. The mother had a code she could enter on the key pad, so we were able to gain access, but she did not give me that code. She was pleasantly surprised that the unit had been cleaned. A side door to the unit stood wide open, and that door would not stay closed. The mother advised me she would try to contact her daughter (who was out of town on business) and have her contact me. Her daughter did call shortly, and asked me, "So the locksmith didn't show up?" like I was involved in the repair process. She said that the previous visitors must have left the side door open in the rain, causing the frame to swell, making it impossible to latch the door. Thankfully she was able to contact a locksmith who was able to get the broken key out of the front door and to change the position of the latch on the side door so that it could be closed. There was a jar on the counter with nearly a dozen unlabelled keys where we were able to find a key to lock the side door.
Because the door had been left open for so long, the unit had lots of flies, moths, and other flying insects inside. The unit also had lots of cobwebs on the window sill above the kitchen sink. The bathroom was lit with a three bulb vanity light, with only one of the bulbs was working. An open storage area (note: this was a one room unit with a bath so nothing was out of sight) in the corner contained construction trash and an old television. Needless to say, our first impressions were not very positive.
It's important to note that not everything was negative. With only a minimum amount of attention this unit could be a great place to stay in Taos. The location is great--very close to the Plaza, and within easy walking distance of several restaurants. There is a nice small patio area on the side of the unit. Occupants also have shared access to a hot tub which was in good working order. Finally, the unit does have covered parking.
This was our first experience with VRBO. We've got another stay booked for late September in Columbia, MO for the Roots, Blues, and BBQ Festival. We're guardedly optimistic about the next VRBO accommodation...

Vert Taos vibe. Very small shower and noise from guests above are easily overcome by great space, hot tub, enclosed patio, and excellent location. Attention by host to deliver a small appliance was outstanding.

Perfect spot for a shred house close to Taos
Everything was fantastic great stay.

Great place, private. Loved the heated floors. Great place for a pet. One suggestion is not to have people do their own dishes before they leave. Some of the dishes were dirty, when people are leaving they are generally not concerned with cleaning well.

Great week in Taos
My wife, 2 dogs, and myself had a great week social distancing in Taos, NM. The one room accommodation was great for us; and we had a wonderful time. The hot tub was a great source of relaxation. The location was a few blocks from the center of Taos. The covered parking was great; and the host called with some directions just before we arrived. Internet access (which is critical for my techy life) was good. Quirky things included a tube type tv although with full 'Direct TV' .
In general a great trip, and I'd do it again.

Taos studio
The space is small for the price but is located walking distance from town. If you like a comfortable bed I would not recommend this place as the bed is not very comfortable.

Great location, uncomfortable beds
Loved the location and the space, particularly the hot tub . . . But the double bed and the sofa pullout were uncomfortable. Bed upgrades are my only suggestion.
4.1
Not worth it
We had several issues with the space:
1. The bed was an air mattress
2. The covered parking spot wouldn't fit a truck or SUV.
3. The toilet paper was 1 ply
4. The bathroom ceiling was so low a man of 6 foot couldn't stand in it
5. The upstairs "neighbors" were so loud (we chalk this up to construction issues).

Weekend in Taos
Perfect location, the downstairs unit we rented had everything we needed , love the private courtyard for our dog and for us to enjoy.....

Lovely apartment
Loved the layout and decor -
Owner was very nice and responded to everything I needed.
No top sheet on the bed ... unwashed “dank” smell on the coverlet and pillows covers or general bedding / not sure
Enclosed Patio is wonderful for sitting and night sky viewing and secure pet containment but not maintained with empty pottery and unkempt panted area in the middle.
No ground coffee for the coffee machine - had to leave for coffee in the morning...
Neighboring fence wall/ dog barking incessantly for the majority of one full day day and evening.. owner said they would try to stop it when I texted them...
Internet never worked for me on Iphone iPad or laptop- owner offered to Check my devices and set it up, but I don’t need help with devices to be honest.... I appreciate the offer but the problem was not on my end...

Quite a Nice Stay!
It was a nice place to stay while in Taos. Very good location, close to restaurants, shops, city center (all within walking distance). About 20-30 min to Taos Ski Valley. The studio had everything one would need. It was clean. The bed could use a better frame, but overall not too bad. It had a nice, private court and a nice hot tub. The hosts were nice and helpful. I would stay there again.
