About this cottage rental
Cottage in central Salcombe, sleeping four in two bedrooms.
Aune Cottage is within a row of picturesque terraced cottages just off Fore Street in central Salcombe. The towns' shops, restaurants and delightful waterfront are just a few yards walk away at the bottom of Robinsons Row. The cottage sleeps four in two bedrooms, and offers pleasant estuary views from the garden. Patio door leads on to terrace and garden beyond. At the rear of the property is a good size garden with terrace area (accessed via the bunk bedroom) with patio table and chairs and pleasant views of the estuary. Aune Cottage is perfect for a couple or a small family. Please note: The property is not accessible by road, there is a steep incline to access Aune Cottage.

Fridge/freezer, washing maching, oven, hob, tumble dryer, microwave, toaster, kettle, TV, DVD.
Parking pass for one car is provided - for the long stay car park in Salcombe (subject to restrictions).
This property is not accessible by road, there is a steep incline to access Aune Cottage.
To the rear of property a good size garden with terrace area, patio table and chairs.

Region: Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
Town: Salcombe is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking on the South West Coast path.

We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The location, just a few minutes away from the pubs and shops was fabulous. It’s on a steep incline so might not suit older people, but was fine for us. The deck in the back that overlooks the marina was lovely for breakfast or evening drinks.
