End of terrace Victorian house, situated in the heart of Salcombe, with four bedrooms to sleep eight people.
16 Courtenay Street is an end of terrace Victorian house, situated in the heart of Salcombe town. With four bedrooms (King-size master, double and two twin rooms), the property sleeps eight guests. The main bathroom, ensuite and utility room have been recently renovated, the ensuite at the start of 2024. Boasting a modern and stylish interior throughout, the property enjoys furnished decking and terraced areas to the side and rear. With immediate access to the town’s amenities, and just a stone’s throw from the local park and nearby beaches, 16 Courtenay Street is an ideal property and location for a young family, as well as couples, looking for a central base from which to explore the town.
Amenities: Gas fired central heating and hot water.
Double electric oven, gas hob, microwave, American-style fridge/freezer,
dishwasher and wine cooler, washing machine, tumble dryer, Nespresso Coffee Machine.
Widescreen TV with Freeview.

Lower decked terrace with further terrace garden furniture,
chiminea and Weber barbecue.
Baby friendly with travel cot and highchair provided.

Town: Salcombe is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking on the South West Coast path.
