About this cottage rental
This stone cottage is cosy and welcoming, and combines original period features with modern décor. Centrally located up a traditional Devon pedestrian lane, it offers stunning sea views from all bedrooms and accepts pets subject to a small fee.
THE SPACE
On the ground floor is an open-plan living, kitchen and dining room. Spend your evening keeping up to date with news and entertainment via Apple TV and Sky TV from the cosy corner sofa.
The ample kitchen as arranged over a quarry tiled floor and includes plenty of counter space to prepare all types of home cooked meals. There is a dining area with seating for up to eight people, a wonderful social space for the whole family to dine together.
On the first floor you will find two bedrooms, the first a family room with a king-size bed and two singles, the second is a bunk bedroom very popular with children.
Also on the first floor is a fitted bathroom with Bath, shower and WC. An additional WC room is found next to the bathroom
On the second floor is a lovely king-size bedroom with a panoramic window with views over the harbour below.
Outside, there is an enclosed patio area with a picnic bench, perfect for enjoying a snack or a refreshing drink in the afternoon sun.
Salcombe is home to a number of sandy beaches, including North Sands, South Sands and East Portlemouth, all of which can be accessed on foot or by passenger ferry at the bottom of the Lane.
Children can enjoy building sandcastles, swimming in the glistening ocean or indulging in locally-produced ice cream.

ABOUT A HOLIDAY IN SALCOMBE
Salcombe is a historic fishing and sailing town that has become famous as a holiday destination because of its natural beauty and its local charm. Blessed with more beaches than you can visit in a week, a jaw-dropping estuary and magnificent walks along the South West Coast Path, it’s also filled with local traditions. For example, there’s the Town Regatta, excellent sailing opportunities and an ice cream factory. There is also the Salcombe Gin Distillery, which has a bar overlooking the water serving Gin cocktails as well as excellent coffees. You can’t leave without sampling the town’s unparalleled clotted cream fudge, visiting the magnificent bakery and restaurants such as Captain Flint’s and The Winking Prawn, which have practically become a rite of passage for visitors.

The nearest public car park is The Creek car park 10 mins walk away from the property. The property is accessed up a narrow pedestrian lane and is not suitable for those with mobility issues.
