About this house rental
Cuddles Cottage is a short walk down to Dutchies beach where you can stroll along the sand or watch the kids play at the park or have a go at Stand-Up Paddle Boarding. Only a quick 12-minute walk on the Bartlett Cycleway to Bagnall Beach or 10-minute walk along the bridal pathway into the heart of Nelson Bay CBD and D'Albora Marina, both pathways are perfect for children as well.
The layout of the home makes it an ideal choice for families or couples as the main bedroom with en suite is located off the sun room area and the other two bedrooms are located at the opposite end of the home. The three-way bathroom is perfect for everyone to use with the shower and bath in one room, vanity area in the open space and separate toilet.
Cuddles Cottage has so much to offer, including a comfortable living area with ceiling fans to cool the house in Summer and gas heating to warm the house in Winter and timber floorboards throughout. An extra-large sun room with table tennis and a great sized enclosed backyard which is perfect for your pet (small dogs only).

This property suited us ( 2 couples) really well for our long weekend stay with everything we wanted. An open kitchen with a well sized dining table and living area plus an adjacent games room with more seating and table tennis as well as a garden with bbq. Though a bit older the place was very well kept and spotless clean. The agents handling the rental were exceptionally friendly and efficient and kept us updated with everything we needed to know at various times of the booking and answered to all our questions and requests promptly.

Great location
Great location. Nice and quiet street and beaches only a minute drive away from property. Everything is local within a 5minute drive away. The only thing missing was wifi, think this is something essential and the property manger/owner needs to look into providing. But overall a great stay!

Good location
We enjoyed our stay. I didn’t realise that I was going to have to step down from the dining room into the sunroom then back up into my bedroom ... not the greatest for 74 yr old knees! The laundry light has something weird going on with it. Otherwise everything was as described in the listing and suitable for our needs.

Cuddles Cottage holiday
We have stayed at Cuddles Cottage before. The location is good and it’s dog friendly which is important for us. The standard of the accommodation is very good. We did have problems with some aspects of the cleaning when we arrived but overall we had very enjoyable holiday and would definitely stay there again.

Already want to come back to stay
Stayed 3 nights with four adults and one dog. We absolutely loved our stay, the house is spotless, the beds were comfy, everything worked (didn't use the dishwasher or laundry but assume they are perfectly functional). Location was ideal. Neighbourhood quiet. Communication with renting agency was always pleasant and easy. Key collection and drop off easy. The house had absolutely everything we needed (we took our own linen). Would 100% stay here again.

Walking distance to beaches and marina. Ideal!
A very neat and tidy home, that was perfect for us and our fur-kids. A beautiful breeze flowed through the house and whilst no a/c the fans did a great job.

Great place to stay
The cottage was very clean. House well set out. Fully equipped kitchen. Undercover parking for one car but room for another car in driveway. Very handy to shops and the bay . We would definitely stay there again.

Great location just missing reception
The house was nice, clean and well-equipped. Fans worked wonderfully on the hot, humid days. Ideal location. However, with no Wifi, it was particularly frustrating not to have mobile reception/coverage either... Which has never happened to us before at other houses on the same road.

Comfy haven
We stayed at "Cuddles cottage" for a few nights in August. For the great value that was charged we were very happy with this holiday rental. It's located in a quiet street and only 5 minutes walk down to Dutchmans beach, a couple minutes further to Bagnalls beach which is dog friendly. We brought our pooch and he loved it there.
Also a pleasant 10 minute walk into Nelson Bay along the Bridal Walk,which is very scenic and shady. Something we did everyday.
The home has all you need, gas heating, 2 bathrooms,4 bedrooms, well equipped modern kitchen , and 2 sitting areas. Outside is a big backyard and a patio with bbq and dining setting.
We probably would consider coming in Summer if air con was available, but overall we loved our stay and would definitely come back

Convenient location
We had a very pleasant stay with the family. Fortunately we didn't bring the dog as some of the the backyard fencing is quite low. The facilities were good, but apart from the new kitchen the property is quite dated and has some outstanding maintenance issues (guttering etc). Location to beaches was great as was the table tennis table during a rainy couple of days.

Could do with a renovation, for an 8 people you need a dishwasher and the kitchen cramped and the dinning table only seats 6. Bunk beds are uncomfortable.

Cosy
Close to town and restaurants and able to easily walk if like the exercise. Is a little dated and could do with being updated but still clean and cosy and we were still comfortable. No air con for heating or cooling but we were lucky with higher than expected temps in winter. The table tennis was huge hit and family favourite. Fence low in one part which could be problem if have large dog.

Great Holiday!!
Great house, very comfortable, had all the comforts of home. Well equipped holiday house, fantastic position, just a short walk to Dutchies Beach and walking track. Fantastic time. Only disappointments, fences were a bit low in two spots, bit of a worry with one big and one medium size dog. and no towel rack in the main bathroom. They are really the only two issues we had. Other than that, great house, great location, definitely would consider coming back.

This property is very out dated in all aspects and needs major renovations. Great location walk to beach and town would not recommend to pet lovers as neighbors will not hesitate to complain.
