Charming and inviting
Beautiful grounds
Perfect location and historic
I would have liked the host to invite us to sit in the backyard 1 hour before checkin time to ease the wait till 4 pm

the location is excellent in relation to restaurants and many sites.
we were also near the Sansum Clinic for some diagnostic tests.

Perfect walkable location. Adorable room with fireplace, beautiful home and grounds and comfortable bed. Very happy with this hotel. Great value for Santa Barbara
Loved the down comforter but did end up being a bit hot. Personal preference so not unhappy with it but if there was a blanket option that would have helped.

No contact check-in was nice. The penthouse suite was spacious and beautifully decorated, as were the grounds and the rest of the house
The price was high and the "ocean view" is practically non-existent.

Great location, quaint property and comfortable bed.
Shower handle should be replaced.

Not really a breakfast
Not having a single staff person, and bed nearly too high to get into, unsafe to get out of.
10.0
Location and cleanliness perfect
Bed was not comfortable. Needs to be a firmer mattress.

Courtyard beautiful Staff replied promptly to my concerns
Room originally assigned bed was too high. Unable to get onto bed Fortunately able to swap for another room. Banister for stairs did not continue to ground floor.

The ambience was great
The bed in the room was very uncomfortable
9.0
Location, grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are really nice.
4.0
The room size.
Broken exterior door lock (lock was hanging off the door and light/air coming in through the large gap. Broken pocket door to toilet room. Broken and unusable couch. Narrow, dangerous staircase leading to the room (converted attic).

Beautiful property, pleasant common areas. nice furnishings.
While I knew our room would be small, I wasn’t expecting to have a sink separated from the bathroom with no counter for toiletries. No closet. the bed was too soft for my taste.

Close to city center and many popular restaurants. Room was clean and well stocked. Loved the backyard and was able to exercise in peace. Easy to make reservation and correspondence with property was answered quickly.

Me and my girlfriend both loved the the building and it's vintage look. The fireplace was a nice touch and kept us warm.
One downside was that cold air would creep through the bathroom window but nothing the heater couldn't take care of.

The house is super cute and the contactless check in process was very easy! We only stayed one night so we didn’t take advantage of the full offerings. Loved that they offered unlimited filtered water and coffee/tea beverages.
The room itself was cute and cozy in design but there is absolutely NO heater. It was > 40 degrees Fahrenheit that night and all we had to warm ourselves with was one log in the fireplace (not eco friendly). We had to sleep in the bathrobes (very nice quality btw) and add the extra blanket to stay warm. The bathroom was very drafty so we had to keep the door closed to lock in the heat. We saw a wall AC unit which would be okay for summer, but definitely would not stay here during the winter. Also no elevator or disability access from what I saw.

Gorgeous period house only short walking distance from state street… Lovely staff and although the rooms weren’t huge, they were traditional and very quaint. Complimentary snacks and coffees and a shared complimentary bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch. Also the only place in California we found that gave complimentary parking which was great.

Wifi was spotty in penthouse suite

from rooms to staff to backyard sitting area this was the coolest place ever that we have stayed in. I would choose this Inn 100 times over.
nothing!!!!!!!!

Nice mood, quiet & safe, love the decoration on the front & back yard. Nice shared coffee&water spot, although it was disappointed it didn’t have much tea options
Really tiny room for 200$/night, old &weak pipeline on the bathroom, didn’t feel comfy to use the shower, feels like it made by plastic.
I guess if you get another room, the whole experience might be different.
There weren’t any hospitality aspects in our room like cookies/drinks/or even nice little breakfast., things I expected in this overpriced room.

The room was clean and ready when needed, with a comfortable bed and with AC. We were able to get a parking space. It is within convenient walking distance to the downtown, our destination. There are charming outdoor garden seating areas. The touch-less check in and out are convenient. Thank you.
Probably due to Covid restrictions the kitchen offerings were sparse. There was a Keurig, apples and some energy bars. Covid makes us grateful for anything.

The Inn is delightful. The beds are extremely comfortable and the bedding is excellent quality.
Highly recommend staying here.
