Amazing place. Amazing hosts. Beautiful historical house with serene garden on a quiet street and very close to State St. It was Perfect!

As a repeat guest, I was extremely disappointed on this visit.

I liked the bed although it was very high for a short person to get into. The chairs were uncomfortable and the table in living room was too far from the sofa to sit and eat. The kitchen table and chairs were crammed into a tiny space. Uncomfortable.

I didnt like that service was non-existent 95% of the time, communication via telephone was terrible as I rarely got a human being on the telephone. I did get a Call Center who required me to repeat me name, email, phone number etc. every single time and never got me connected.

Really lovely place, great breakfast! If with another couple, they may be in a separate house.

Breakfast was great, much better than typical continental. The inn was lovely and within walking distance to restaurants, etc.

My friends were in the opposite house, which took away from our experience.

Warm, friendly place to stay with great access to downtown.

Excellent breakfast, warm and comfortable room, and could see the Granada Theater from my window. Was able to charge my plug-in hybrid car in the private lot.

warm and friendly b&b with great breakfast

very welcoming and friendly staff. check in was a breeze. plenty of parking. room was clean and large, with a supportive mattress, hot water with good pressure, fireplace and good heating. molton brown amenities a nice touch. tasty homemade breakfast in the morning.

the tub was leaking (tap couldn’t turn off all the way), which apart from being a waste of water was also noisy at night. sound insulation not great. we would’ve liked a kettle in the room.

Quiet and Quaint

Property is located next to State st. Very short walk to the wonderful restaurants. The host were very helpful. They offer a delicious option of breakfast. Free parking.

This location is the perfect stay for a quiet, leisurely trip to enjoy Santa Barbara. Definitely enjoy the patio, garden

Gorgeous Victorian architecture and grounds.

Like an old house there are some adjustments that need to be made, thighs spaces, lots of stairs.

I grew up in Santa Barbara, the Cheshire Cat Inn made me feel at home.

We enjoyed the friendly and very attentive staff who made every effort to ensure our comfort and address any special needs we had. This location is quiet, beautifully landscaped and impeccably maintained. You are walking distance to restaurants, shopping, churches and large city parks and Santa Barbara's Botanical Gardens. The owner Christine, greats guests in the morning during breakfast and shares stories about the unique property, the town or current events and their importance to Santa Barbara. The price of our stay was very reasonable considering the quality of our room, the amenities, the delicious food, the off-street parking and more importantly, the great memories we will enjoy for a lifetime that our experience at the Cheshire Cat Inn gave us.

That we could not stay longer! You won't want to leave this unique Bed and Breakfast, trust me.

It was disappointing for the price. Not bad but not great!

very pretty, well kept and clean

No soundproofing between the rooms! Was awoken twice during the night by other guests coming in really late. So could not sleep well. Also, though very pretty and charming, room was too cluttered and cramped, bathroom minuscule, and not enough electrical outlets in room to easily charge our devices.
