About this house rental
Due to the Hurricane, rates for November and First part of December have been substantially reduced. We did not suffer any damages and most business are not only open but want you to come to the top of the world. Enjoy all the conveniences with rates from $275 per night!

OUTSIDE: Breathtaking, unlimited, and unrestricted views, babbling brook/stream next to home, with a bench to do summer reading, and summer leaf canopy over swing set.
The upper-level balcony has everything you need for outside entertainment with gas grill, gas firepit, full outdoor dining and cushion love seat, rocking chairs and super views and gentle breezes.
The lower level is designed for relaxing with spa and 5 country rocking chairs and a swing set to feel the gentle breezes and to watch the deer's passing by.
To make entry and exist less stressful in snowy days, there is a circular driveway, level entry, and garage with a mud room.
INTERIOR - MAIL LEVEL: Main floor has OPEN FAMILY ROOM with two story soaring vaulted ceiling, stone fireplace with remote control, new power reclining leather sofa and loveseat, 75-inch 9000 series TV with sound bar in family room, country end tables, additional chairs, wet bar, video library, books, card games, board games and even Karaoke.
The well-stocked KITCHEN with modern backsplash, granite countertops, refinished cabinets, and new floors opens to the family room and dining area and has everything you need for favorite meals including two coffee pots and coffee grinder, regular and K-cups, waffle maker, toaster, food storage containers, complete service for eight. All appliances are stainless steel - stove, refrigerator with ice maker, and microwave. The dining area and bar area can easily entertain eight people.
On the MAIN LEVEL, FIND THE MASTER BEDROOM with a wall of glass to bring the view inside, a King Size Bed, ceiling fan, 55' Samsung TV, walk in closet, tons of drawers and vaulted ceilings. The completely updated MBR Bath has a waterfall shower and frameless shower door and jetted tub with separate shower spray.
Also, located on the main level is MUD ROOM to store shoes and coats and other equipment, and a LAUNDRY ROOM with NEW WASHER AND DRYER, new cabinets, and new laundry tub. The GARAGE is open to guests to store their car or ski or hiking equipment. Also, there are shelves for outside cushions.
The UPPER LEVEL has TWO LARGE BEDROOMS WITH VALUTED CEILING, queen size beds, 50-inch smart Samsung TVs, ceiling fans, and tons of closet space. While rarely needed, there are 2 separate air conditions during the summer. The rear upstairs bedroom also has the best view in the house, so no one is left out! On this level, you will find the LOFT AREA with POOL TABLE and outstanding views. To complete the country look, the upstairs full bath has been completely updated with new commode, craw leg tub with matching faucet with a shower spray.
LOWER LEVEL: There is new carpet. Bedroom 4 is located on this level with a combination of a PRIVATE OFFICE/BEDROOM combination. The daybed coverts to a twin bed and there is a trundle for another twin or make a queen bed with both together. The 5th bedroom has been converted to a well-stocked EXERCISE ROOM with most of the equipment need for a full workout. The exercise room tv has a side slot for your exercise videos. The lower-level full bath has also been updated with new commode and new shower with frameless shower door. Also, this bath has heated floors for wintertime. Also, on this level, there is a game room and hobby area.
While the home located in a GATED COMMUNITY with lots of privacy, you are still near everything.

The view was incredible. The cabin house close to so many attractions. We really enjoyed having dinner outside with the mountains view. The open floor plan was perfect for our group of 7 including 3 teenagers. House was clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies. Plenty of towels and extra sheets. Communication with the owner was excellent. We will be coming back. We really enjoyed the Banner Elk area and restaurants. Thanks for the restaurants recommendations and the binder with additional information.

We booked this home for our family Spring Break vacation. We converge at this beautiful mountain retreat escaping the oppressions of large metropolitan center in South Florida and Philadelphia. It provided a most welcome breath of fresh air and peace.
It is a great HOME away from home. It is cozy, comfortable and welcoming... just perfect for our family gathering (3 generations, 8 people)
On the practical side considering location, size, amenities and price, it was a great value.

We loved staying at this beautiful home in a quiet gated community. The house provided everything we needed and more. So spacious and cozy, we could all gather together comfortably or spread out to the bedrooms, workout room, gaming areas, porch, backyard or living room. The convenience and ease to go skiing, out to eat or shopping was a plus. One of our favorite unexpected surprises was feeding the deer with the corn provided! We’ve stayed in Beech Mtn many times over the years and this was by far our favorite home away from home!

The size and location of the home was perfect! Beds were comfy and there were plenty of linens, blankets, towels etc. The kitchen was perfect size for the nights we stayed in and cooked a meal. Thank you for adding comfort to our enjoyable snow-cation.

We enjoyed the home. The view was unbeatable. Lots of parking in the driveway. There was a book with a very thorough list of rules. It took some of the fun out of staying there, to be honest. People who are not big rule followers will probably not be bothered. Overall it was a good experience. The management and owners are very responsive and helpful. I would recommend the home.

The house was very well equipped for a family gathering. Very clean. The open plan including the kitchen, dining room and living room was terrific. The windows at the rear of the house took advantage of the spectacular mountain views to the east and south. Full length decks across the first floor and the lower level were well furnished. Lots to do nearby and perfect weather made our vacation one of the best ever.

This house was amazing. Lots of room to spread out. The kitchen is stocked well with everything you may need. The balcony is a great place to watch the sunrise and sunset. We even watched the starlink satellite train in the sky, two nights while here. That was pretty amazing to see! The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. The pool table was useful for our teenage son as well as the lower level where he had his own space along with a Foosball table and workout room. There is a hot tub on the lower deck. We even got to see three deer in the yard. The neighborhood is gated and very quiet. I loved the stream running beside the house. Jerry and Kristen are very easy to reach if you have questions. I would highly recommend this as your next vacation house.

Genuinely great house. Spectacular views of the clouds sifting through the trees in the valley below. Loads of space to hang out in groups or all together. I will say though, if you want the views... you gotta get up the mountain! The roads are fully paved and in perfect condition. Just make sure you're driving something with a decent engine and good tire thread.

This was an amazing place to stay. The host was very responsive to any questions that came up. There were also a great supply of supplies to deal with the winter storm that rolled in. This allowed us to really enjoy our time on the slopes. This was a great home to enjoy Christmas with the family.

20 plus years. This home has to rank at the top. The home is very well kept up and very well stocked with everything you need. The
views off the back patio are incredible. I was able to speak with the owner anytime I had a question, he was very quick to respond. I highly recommend this rental

Hi- this is a nice house. We loved the gas fireplace in the living room and the beds are comfortable. Nice big TV with great aps to watch shows. Great place to unwind after skiing. A few things to note… Be prepared for the windy roads that you have to drive every time you go to the property but if you want views that’s the price you pay. We are not used to it so we would get car sick every time including the driver. Also I would not say that this house sleeps 8 people comfortably. There are two queen size beds upstairs and a king bed on the main floor. That would accommodate 6 maybe 7 if you want to sleep 3 people in the king size bed. There is a day bed on the bottom floor but there is no central heat and it was freezing downstairs. There is a fake fireplace that is used for a heater in the room but the entire bottom level gets so cold. The jacuzzi was nice. Jerry the owner is nice and responsive. On a side note if you are coming to ski or board DO NOT go to Beech Mountain just read their reviews on yelp and you will see why. Sugar mountain is so much nicer. Trust me!

We booked at the last minute and Jerry went out of his way to have the house cleaned so we could stay. We checked in on Valentine's Day and kids loved finding the heart candies and chocolates left for us. The view from Cloud Nine was amazing, and if it had been warmer we would have spent time out on the large deck. We enjoyed watching the sun come up each morning over the mountains. Breathtaking. The house is about a 5 minute drive from Beech Mountain, making it very convenient for skiing. The circle drive made it easy to get in and out of the property. Paved and cleared roads, right up to the front door. The mudroom and garage made storing ski and snow gear easy. The bedrooms are large, the beds comfy, and the house was clean. There was plenty of room for our family of six to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed (and more) to cook basic meals. (maybe add a few more hot pads/dinner plates). Everything was perfect. There were 8-adults in my party. The house was very comfortable and more than enough room. Used all the amenities; foosball, pool table and spa. Ski resort was a 10-minute drive.. You can actually walk to a general store just 10-minutes up the mountain. Everyone in Banner Elk was so welcoming. It snowed while we were there so the scenery was awesome. We got some post card pics for sure. Jerry even offered to have a plow come by to clear the driveway. However, I enjoyed being outside so I shoveled it myself. All the neighbors we met on our walks were very cordial. We saw many deer each day and were able to feed them apples. We bought 2-bags of apples for them during our stay. My family knows I am a very picky when it comes to getting or having things just right. Well the home was very clean and spacious so I was extremely satisfied. When you choose a vacation home online you hope it meets the hype you read. This house was spot on and I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Jerry for your gracios hospitality.

We stayed here the week after Christmas and over New Year’s and really enjoyed this house and the area and hope to have a return visit sometime in the future. The house was very comfortable and felt like home. The view is just beautiful, we enjoyed watching sunrise each morning and was definitely a motivator to get up early to watch it in our pj’s and drinking coffee on the deck ! Jerry was very responsive and good with communication. I highly recommend this place.

It met all of my expectations and exceeded the expectations of the rest of my family members (because I didn’t show them any pictures before we arrived). This home had more than everything we needed. Plus, gorgeous mountain views and close to skiing.
We had a long drive from our home to the rental property, so it was after dark when we arrived. The area had enjoyed a snow storm the previous day, so snow blanketed everything. We were a little nervous about driving down the driveway, but the owners provide snow shovels and rock salt. Shoveling snow was a new experience for my family! Once we cleared the driveway, we were able to settle in. Mr. Noel was very responsive to my text messages during our stay and answered all my questions about how to deal with the snow. Where we’re from, life stops when it snows. But the community in Banner Elk does a fantastic job of keeping the roads cleared of snow and ice. We didn’t have any issues driving around the area.
There was a bouquet of fresh white roses on the table for us to enjoy during our stay. I don’t know if fresh flowers are usually provided by the owner or if they were left from the previous occupants, but I appreciated them either way. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal preparation. There was a Keurig AND a coffee pot. The coffee pot was missing a filter basket, but Mr. Noel had ordered a new pot to arrive in time for us to use. The Keurig was fine, but nothing beats a pot of coffee, so I really appreciated that.
It snowed during our stay. And the wind chill dropped to -12F! But the home was warm and comfortable. Beds were comfortable, too. Master bathroom is so nice! After several hours of skiing, it was wonderful to come home to the jetted tub.
We really enjoyed the views. I spent a lot of time just staring out the windows - I didn’t miss a sunrise or sunset. And a family of deer walked through the yard twice a day. It was just lovely!
When we weren’t skiing, we were playing games at the big table or watching movies. The kitchen/dining/living area is open, but so very cozy.
The location is perfect if you’re interested in skiing and hiking. The ski area is just up the road, which includes a general store and several restaurants.
I’m so pleased that I decided to book this property. We made some great memories. Thank you for everything!
