About this house rental

This charming cottage is located in the waterfront district and the downtown area of Grand Haven. It is a block away from the boardwalk that takes you right to the pier and the beach. Our famous lighthouse is within a half mile! A short four block walk will drop you right into the middle of our downtown. Many wonderful restaurants and interesting shops await you. There are marinas along the waterfront and charter fishing boats are available. Mini golf and a fun splash pad are some of the favorites, along with the many playgrounds in the area. The new Imagination Station is 3 blocks away at the local Ymca along with a skate park and ball fields. Boat and paddle board rentals, bike rentals and bike paths are all available within the area. Many parks and mountain biking/hiking trails nearby. You can walk to the end of the street and watch the famous Musical Fountain preform nightly. Many festivals and events are held through out the year, including our Coast Guard Festival and Salmon Festival. Grand Haven is a premiere spot to enjoy all that the lakeshore has to offer!!

With 4 bedrooms, the house was perfect for our family of 6 adults. The dining room table was great for that size group, too. With the location of the house just 2 blocks from the river, we could easily walk to the State park or downtown area.

very convenient comfortably roomy location near all the activities of Grand Haven. Close to downtown and within walking distance of the beach. We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable house. We have been twice before and continue to enjoy the convenience of this location with all the necessary home needs meant.

This house was perfect for us . You can walk to the quaint town of grand haven , great food and nice shopping and also walk to the pier , the beach , the musical light show . You can bike ride all around also . The beds and pillows were comfy . Enough towels and enough dishware , the kitchen well stocked to cook. We walked in and the house smelled fresh and clean . Anytime we had a question Robyn answered within 15 min. She even dropped off new blow dryer to us . I will visit grand haven again and would stay at this house for the great location .

House was clean and spacious. Location was ideal for walking to downtown, restaurants or a walk to the pier. Communication was top notch. Quickly answering any questions we had. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

This is in a fantastic location if you want to walk to the restaurant section of downtown, the music fountain, the channel and the beach. We did all of these almost every day.

The house was spacious for our family. The kitchen could use updates including the addition of a garbage disposal. Location was great. Deck was missing some railings which made it dangerous to be on at night when lighting isn't good.

This house was a great spot for our family to enjoy a few days in Grand Haven. There was plenty of space to accommodate our two children under two while still having space to hang out after bedtime. We absolutely loved the location to walk into town and a short, easy drive to the beach. We would love to be back!

This property was as advertised! Very clean, they had everything we needed and an outstanding location. We walked to the lake, walked to the restaurants and the nightly light show! We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this property!

Location of house was the definite upside and house wasn’t terrible but if I were reading this would want to read accurate review before booking. House slanted but not that important & has good floor plan. Carpet and flooring appeared new. Fridge couldn’t keep up with stocking it for the week at max cold and milk and meat was room temp after a couple days. Manager was responsive & did bring us coolers with ice and Tupperware to put food in but functional fridge is essential at rental. Clothes Dryer walls in small bath was sweating & dripping with water b/c vent wasn’t tight & - had to put rolled up cardboard against wall to push it back on. Alan(Manager) was told and said he’d look at it after we check out. Beds were acceptable but sheets were cheap microfiber polyester and thin & hot so we sweat then cooled off with a/c cold on main floor to make comfortable for upstairs bedrooms. I asked for 2 blankets since only sheets and thick comforters provided and I got a passive response. Dog poop in backyard & brown grass & grill is charcoal and when asked for gas grill it was denied. Overall house was clean, plenty of dishes & silverware & towels but skillets were in bad shape so I bought one to cook.

We had a great time at this property. It was very clean, well-stocked with all the necessities, and had a perfect layout for our 9 family members. There was a portacrib already there for us to use (for my grandson). The location is excellent. It's right in the middle of downtown Grand Haven and the beach. Both are within walking distance (about 15 minutes to the beach). Would definitely recommend!

Couldn’t of asked for a better bachelorette party weekend, and this house made it possible! The house was clean, organized, and had everything we needed- complete with bedding, utensils, back porch, AC, and overall spacious living space! The location is truly ideal for any grand haven activity- walkable to every shop and downtown, short drive to the beach and could even walk if wanted! Myself and my guests truly loved our stay and I would recommend to anyone looking for cleanliness, ideal location, and a great host!

The property is situated in a prime location and has easy access to downtown as well as most locations around Grand Haven. Robyn was very prompt in communication and making sure the home was up to mark before our check-in. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

Easy process for renting. Just a few suggestions: Lighting in dining room not the best. Kitchen equipment good. Items such as dishwasher detergent & body wash should have backup available. Upstairs back bedroom ceiling fan light chain was broken.

The best review a place can get is if you would rent again and I certainly would. This place is clean and roomy. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood but still close to the water and all that Grand Haven has to offer. Loved our stay.

The property is large and comfortably accommodated 2 small families. We stayed with family friends 4 adults and 4 children and were all able to have our own space while still being able to spend time together. We were able to walk to the downtown area to many restaurants and shops. Additionally it was super close to a nice park. My only critique is that the kitchen is not very well stocked. Make sure to bring anything you think you’d want to use (salt and pepper).

Location on this house was awesome. Close walk to water. Close walk into downtown. Loved the walk-ability! House had everything that we needed. Clean. Accommodated 3 couples & 3 kids just fine. Plenty of hang out space. We enjoyed sitting on the covered front porch too. Also, the owner was very responsive to questions. I recommend this property!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is the best thing about it - a short walking distance to downtown. It was accommodating enough for our large family, too, which was crucial for us. The kitchen is quite small and the house could use some updates but it was clean and nice enough elsewhere to make up for that. We would totally stay here again!

The location of this property was the absolute best, and made our trip! Walking distance to downtown and the pier. A quick drive to the beach and nearby hiking trails. My teenagers loved the freedom of being able to walk to places on their own. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

This is our 2nd year in a row staying at this property. It is an excellent location close to both downtown and a 5 minute drive to the beach. Three blocks from walking alongside the channel with multiple sites to enjoy food and beverage. Downtown shopping is also just a few block away if you enjoy that. The house itself is comfortable and roomy. The owners continue to upgrade the house and take good care of it. All appliances and facilities are in excellent working order, so you can relax with the family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Plenty of space for my family, and kid friendly. Great location, it had everything we needed. The owners of the property were extremely easy to communicate with. Could use some updates and the floor was slightly uneven in some places which tripped me up a bit. But we would definitely love to stay here again. It was a wonderful experience.

This is our 2nd time staying at this Grand Haven cottage. It’s in a great location close to downtown, the pier, and the beach. Great outdoor space for kids and adults. Owners have made some nice upgrades since our last stay. Looking forward to staying here again on our next trip to GH.

House is walking distance to all Downtown Grand Haven delights. Our family had room to spread out and gather around the dinner table. While the house was clean the main floor carpet was stained and could stand to be restretched as it was bubbled up creating a tripping hazard in some spots.

The location is perfect for walking around Grand Haven. Don’t miss out on a pronto pup, ice cream shops, cute downtown and picturesque view of Lake Michigan only 2 blocks away from the boardwalk. The house itself is well set up with two large rooms for sitting, one with a tv. The dining room has a large table with the kitchen well stocked with basic necessities. The back porch is well situated with a serene back yard with a table, chairs, and charcoal grill. The house has one bedroom downstairs and three bedrooms upstairs. The bathrooms are well placed; one downstairs with shower and one upstairs with a bathtub. The bathrooms were also well stocked with towels and plenty of hooks to dry your towels. There are only a few things to be cognizant of with this house. The entire house is on an angle and the floors feel a little squishy upstairs. All the bedrooms have full sized beds and are perfect for a single person per bed. The beds are very plush so multiples will roll into the middle. The owner thought of everything to keep in the house for ease of use. It was well decorated and truly felt like a home away from home. We had a large picture frame fall off the wall and a mug broke in the dishwasher during our stay- the owner was kind and quick to respond with grace and understanding. Overall, it was a five star stay and I would highly recommend this house for a vacation rental.

This is our second year staying in this home. The location is great -close to downtown and it’s right at one mile from the home to the end of the lighthouse pier. You can walk to the Grand Haven State Park Beach (if you don’t have a bunch of stuff to carry😊)

We really enjoyed our stay. This house is in a great location—easy walk to the beach (about a mile, but it’s a nice walk), a couple blocks from downtown with its restaurants, breweries, and shops. Property was very clean, and exactly as described. Five stars!!
