About this house rental
The dwelling unit is fully furnished and brand new! It was built within the last year and has one bedroom and one bathroom. There is a queen size bed with a closet, a futon bed so the unit can hold a family of four. There is a washer and dryer set as well and we have provided towels, laundry detergent, and dish soap. The neighborhood is very quiet and as a family of five, we don't make much noise and are also in a separate building.

The owner was very nice and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The bed was comfy, with plenty of extra blankets and pillows if needed. The shower had strong pressure, which I really appreciated. There was plenty of seating and an outdoor patio area. We will definitely stay there again next time we're in Shoreline!

The photos didn’t do this property justice! This space had all the amenities we needed and was cozy for us two. We had everything we needed to cook meals, and longer after long days of walking hiking and exploring Seattle. A bonus was that Trader Joe’s was within a mile so our first day we took a short LYFT ride over to grab groceries and snacks for our week stay. A huge plus is the accessibility to public transportation just download the transit go app! Tesfaye was also communicative and friendly when we saw him In person a couple of times, he lived next door which was nice in case we had needed anything. We would definitely stay here again!

I had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at Tesfaye's home. He was very gracious. The space was roomy. There were plenty of supplies, such as dishes and cookware. The washer and dryer worked great! It felt like being in the middle of a forest, and it was very quiet. Plenty of parking, close to I-5, so convenient!

Overall, a nice place to stay. It was a relatively new property, with a well- equipped kitchen, nice bath and comfortable bed. The property is in a nice rural location, quiet and yet accessible to major thoroughfares.
Unfortunately, a couple of downs vexed us; as is all too typical with these rentals, the tv access is Terrible, with absolutely no current programming. A total news blackout! Secondly, the most uncomfortable couch in all Seattle. Also, the steep entry staircase, which would be problematic for older folks, was not mentioned in the initial ad.
All in all, we'd certainly stay here again and put up with the little issues!

We had a great time on our trip. This place was centrally located to everything we wanted to do. Our son was able to stop in & have dinner with us. The kitchen had what we needed & the dining table was big enough for everyone. The owner was easy to communicate with on our stay. If we come to this area again we would stay here again. Thank you!

I was there for two weeks and very much appreciated the full-size fridge/freezer with water on the door. Kitchen was well stocked. Washer/dryer were great to have. I worked remote and the wifi was very fast! I also enjoyed having access to Hulu and other stuff services. The host was very responsive to text messages. It was the perfect space for me. One thing to note is the unit I stayed in was on the second floor of a two story dwelling and at times during the day the lower level unit was occupied by the host’s friends and family members. The sounds of people talking and the tv were at times distracting.

The space was clean and roomy. It sits on a quiet street. Full size kitchen was nice to prepare food. Loved having the extra apps for watching tv in the evening. The owners were excellent to work with and responded promptly to questions or concerns we had. Easy to work with. There was an issue with some of the bath towels but it was addressed. We do make trips up occasionally to visit family and will consider staying here again.

We were pleased to find such a roomy apartment with a decent price in a Seattle neighborhood. The gardens surrounding the property were such a treat and artistically done. There was easy street parking and all the necessary kitchen equipment to make our stay comfortable. We would definitely recommend this place.

Our stay in Tesfay’s North City apartment was perfect. My husband and I were there for 4 nights. We had activities in both Seattle and Edmonds. It was a great spot in between. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of seating - we had some family visit us one afternoon and there was plenty of room. Tesfay and her family were very kind and easy to work with. We would be happy to stay again if we are in the area.

Nice apartment in quiet neighborhood
Well kept apartment in a quiet neighborhood, perfect for 2-70 year olds. Good access to I-5 as we traveled to several National Parks in the area. Owner of the property was friendly, but not intrusive. He explained the check in & check out process, and everything went smoothly.

Wonderful hosts
We stayed at the property for more than two months to finish the school year before we moved out of state. The hosts were so delightful and friendly and helpful. They gave us fresh eggs from their chickens and invited us to celebrate their daughter's graduation.

Home away from home during reconstruction and COVID-19
My son and his girlfriend stayed here while their house was under reconstruction from flooding damage. No surprise, the construction was not completed on time, but Tesfaye was very patient and helpful with our changing needs. The place was cozy, but perfect for two professionals to work from home during the COVID-19 lockdown in Seattle.

Wonderful modern apartment.
Wonderful modern apartment, with all amenities, and a gracious host. The apartment was completely furnished and outfitted with complete dishes and pots and pans. It was recently constructed with all new appliances. The washer and dryer were very convenient and useful.
The host and his family were gracious and helpful. I would eagerly stay there again.

Didn't work for us
It didn't work for us with a 7 week old straight out of Seattle Children's hospital from open heart surgery! The futon was not comfortable enough to sleep on and the heat in the Livingroom was a little chilly. The TV wouldn't work and we didn't hear back until the next day at 11:45 am (we tried contact the evening before) when we were leaving to find a different place. My daughter stepped on a small piece of glass in the kitchen area.

Not good for dogs
Before booking, I told owner I had 2 small dogs and asked if the yard was fenced. He told me it was fenced. The ADU yard was NOT fenced. He offered use of the main house yard, but it was only 3/4 fenced with big gaps. I had to take the dogs out on leash every time, rain or shine, day or night. Yard was overgrown and very weedy.
The unit would be fine for someone without dogs. It is the upper half only of the ADU; the bottom half is run by the owners as a hair salon. Most of the time it was quiet, though a few days a week there would be loud TV from below. The unit was clean and had everything needed. Couch was hard and uncomfortable but chairs and bed were comfortable. Neighborhood was quiet and conveniently located.
The internet was too slow to be useful. The owners live next door and are very responsive. However, the miscommunication about the fenced yard, which the owner never properly explained, made my stay much more difficult than I anticipated and having no other options, I wound up cutting it short. I would not book it again.

Great place to stay!
We enjoyed our stay here. It was the perfect place to transition from our condo to purchasing a home. The internet could be slow, at times, but Tesfaye was prompt and friendly when we needed assistance. I would highly recommend this place.

Cosy and Comfortable
We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment had everything we needed, pots, pans and bake ware, utensils, nice dishes and silverware, it was clean and tidy. It was nice to have the washer and dryer as our stay was 18 days, so was able to refresh our clothes etc.
Grocery and Drug stores were close by which was very convenient. The Landlord was near by and available if we needed anything.
Private, peaceful and quiet setting, would not hesitate to return.

Nice apartment, nice neighborhood
We stayed here while we worked to prepare our own home for sale. It was an ideal location for us. The landlord lives next door and was very welcoming, but never intrusive. We had no issues with this apartment, everything was as described. Our only regret was the stairs. They were steep enough to be uncomfortable with groceries in hand. One of our small dogs couldn’t bring himself to tackle the stairs, so he was carried up and down for the duration. Mr Demissey has other units and we would have no hesitation staying in a Ground floor space in the future.
