Located in the seaside haven of Apollo Bay on Victoria's Great Ocean Rd, Marriners View is a modern and stylish 3 bedroom holiday house. This stylish holiday house has views of Marriners Lookout and Otway hills and view out across the township and ocean.

Spend your days relaxing out on the balcony or relaxing in the sunroom admiring the view of the beautiful lush hills that surround Apollo Bay. For those wishing to get out and about Marriners View is accommodation is centrally located on the Great Ocean Road and is the ideal base for your expeditions.

Marriners View has been tastefully decorated with quality timber and leather furniture that is further enhanced by polished timber floors and big windows offering loads of natural light.
This modern two storey and very well appointed Apollo Bay pet friendly accommodation offers luxury dog friendly holidays only 5 minutes walk from the beach and 10 minutes walk from the shops and restaurants of Apollo Bay.

The upper level of Marriners View is open plan and offers reverse cycle air-conditioning and heating. The dining table has seating for 6, a powder room offers a third bathroom and the lounge has plenty of room for the family to relax in comfort.

The well appointed kitchen of this features caesar stone bench tops, a modern glass electric cook top, range hood, dishwasher, microwave, walk in pantry, large fridge and freezer and an excellent selection of cooking equipment. Cook up a storm for your family or friends or choose from a fantastic selection of gourmet cafes and restaurants that Apollo Bay has to offer.

The spacious lounge features a Plasma TV, DVD, Stereo and big comfy leather lounges. The lounge area has two big opening doors that lead out onto a spacious secure deck lined with beautiful stained timber, outdoor furniture and and had BBQ. This sheltered balcony has views across the township and ocean.

All three bedrooms are located downstairs and feature timber Queen sized bed with quality linen, including electric blankets and have electric heating. The second bedroom leads out onto a balcony in the secure rear yard. The master bedroom features an ensuite with shower, toilet and vanity. The main bathroom features a bath with shower over the top, perfect for a relaxing soak.
Quality bed linen, towels, soaps and bath gels are supplied for your arrival.

The ground level offers a lovely sunny reading area with a TV and cosy chairs for relaxing with a good book and electric heating. This area has a lovely outlook to the Otway hills that surround Apollo Bay.

We did the Great Ocean Walk and stayed at Geoff’s place before and after the walk. Great location and size for our group of four hikers. Had everything we need. Would recommend.

Easy check in process, property was clean and as described. Milk and juice, and wine left as arrival gift with Easter eggs was very thoughtful by owner. Easy walk into town, and to beach. No issues great stay.

Our party consisted of 5 adults and 1 dog. The house was perfect as it was a short walk to the end of the street to a great dog friendly beach😀😀. The house was great as it had everything that we needed.

Property is short walk to beach away from the busy part of town. Lovely condition and expansive space upstairs. Surprised to find a koala sauntering on the beach during our first walk! He climbed a nearby cypress tree and stayed.

The house was in a great location and well appointed. It was easy to comminicate with the owners when required. Upstairs was well designed. The house did need the windows cleaned (which was actioned, thank you), but the downstairs rooms had an issue with moths and some dampness.

I own a short term holiday rental property and I have hosted guests for 8 years. I understand the issues on both sides of this discussion. The property is not as pristine as shown in the photographs.The indoor areas were clean albeit the dishwasher was not cleared by the person who cleaned up after the previous occupants. The kitchen was was very modern with well designed storage. It did not have all the utensils we expected for what was described as a well appointed kitchen eg - knife sharpeners, large roasting pans & chopping boards, good cutting knives & properly functioning vegetable peelers. An excellent roasting pan was eventually supplied and the kitchen knives sharpened. The television in the living area did not have instructions about how to use it nor were there any instructions about other appliances though most were reasonably intuitive apart from the volume control on the living room television set. The bathrooms & bedrooms were very good & the queen sized beds very comfortable. Our main disappointment with this property which detracted significantly from our stay was the very uncomfortable lounge setting which appeared to be very old-the seats had no springs or proper cushioning so that you sank into them. The lounge seating set back my recovery from a fractured vertebra. A safety issue that needs to be considered is the lack of hand support to enable one to get into and out of the bath. It appears that a number of townhouses with a similar design in close proximity so there is no privacy if all properties are occupied. The garden and deck areas are rather poorly presented - the view to the sea is blocked by overgrown plants. There was an unwashed lounge chair on the deck downstairs into the back garden. There was nowhere pleasant to sit there. Apart from the lounge chair, there were two wicker chairs without any padding. They were unusable. The upstairs deck had a dining setting with chairs that were frayed and looked unsafe to sit on. There was no umbrella or other awning to provide shelter from the sun which limited the use of that deck. There was a rusty old BBQ left in situ did not enhance the aesthetics of the deck. The whole top living is surrounded by floor to ceiling glass but all the windows were dirty. The property needs to be upgraded to reflect how it is presented on line.
