Peaceful cottage overlooking the water with a rocky beach. We saw eagles, a seal, deers, turkeys. About 20 min ride to Acadia and then Bar Harbor. After trekking around the park with crowds of people, this was perfect spot to come back to and relax. One note: as another reviewer noted, the house is very basically supplied. We had to get sugar and olive oil. Would definitely book again!

We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. House was well organized and maintained.

We chose to visit Maine to celebrate our tenth anniversary. This home was the perfect home away from home. Being able to sit on the porch and listen to the waves was so peaceful and relaxing. We loved spending time there when we weren’t exploring nearby Acadia or Bar Harbor.

We needed a house to accommodate my family of 4 in close proximity to where other relatives are staying. SeaScape had everything we needed and Cheri was extremely responsive whenever I had a question. A binder clearly laid out the easy check out process. We hope to return to SeaScape again!

We enjoyed our stay at this place. The views of the water were beautiful! The house was not as fully stocked with supplies like other houses we have stayed at but all of our needs were met and we could make do with what was provided. The neighborhood was incredibly quiet and you can relax on the deck while enjoying the wildlife. We saw seals, cormorants, and even a bald eagle flying around the trees on the property.

Lovey property, quiet, clean, convenient, comfortable. It was just what we needed. I would highly recommend this location, close to Acadia NP, but not crowded.

The rental is right on the water. We enjoyed the sunrises across the water and the evening fires on the deck overlooking the water. The rental was clean and exactly as described. Beds were comfortable. We had a great say despite losing power due to a storm.

Beautiful convenient location, close to Acadia and Bar Harbor yet nice and quiet and peaceful. Lovely property and view. House was reasonably well stocked. Shampoo and cooking oil would have been welcomed additions :) We had everything else we needed for a great stay.

Beautiful home with a million dollar view. Great deck. Perfect location, close to everything, but out of the way. Close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. About 2 miles from a Lobster Pound and a Bakery. If you get tired of seafood, Helen's Restaurant is in Ellsworth, about 15 minutes away. I highly recommend this home. You may not want to leave the house.

Enjoyed our trip to Maine and equally enjoyed the view from the back deck. The firepit was so enjoyable in the early morning with a cup of coffee; added a bonus, we actually saw a whale. Although, the locals said it was uncommon, it was very clearly a whale. We could not only hear the noise from their spout as they breath, but also saw it surface.
The house was a little musty smelling when we first arrived, but we opened the windows and it seemed to address the issue.
Also, kitchen was not stocked well, in comparisons to most places I have stayed, but we adjusted and made do. However, the beds were VERY comfortable!
Def would return.

The house is very clean and with all amenities. If you are an adults, this is a great place to relax and recharge. Sea view from the house is good.
25 to 30 min drive to Acadia National park.
For kids (especially less than 10 year old)- not many thing kids can do and enjoy during stay.

Seascape is a lovely cottage for a 4 person stay. The location is convenient and the view is beautiful. The management is responsive to questions and considerate generally. The cottage was immaculate which we really appreciated. Having two bathrooms was great, one of them was new. There is a new stackable laundry that was so helpful and efficient. The deck is huge and we spent alot of time there. There are 2 adirondack chairs and a bench. What would make the rental really fantastic would be two more adirondack chairs and some cushions. There is a bench but it is quite uncomfortable. Other than that, we really enjoyed our time.

This is a very comfortable space that we really enjoyed staying in. The home is large with an ample primary bedroom and comfortable bed. We really slept well here.Travelled with two teens and they were comfortable on the twin beds. The bathrooms are good sized with lots of room to put toiletry bags. The whole place was extremely clean - bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms. The washer/dryer was conveniently located. Supplies were there so you didn't have to worry about dish soap, hand soap, paper towels etc - enough product to be able to do dishes, couple loads or wash etc. The kitchen was very well stocked with some basic spices, and cookware to make meals. We really enjoyed the deck area and the small private beach in front of the property. The area down to the beach is not 'flat' though - you go down a metal stair, and then some rocks to walk over to get down to it so just be mindful is someone is has any walking limitations and wear proper footwear over the rocks. We were at this lovely little spot everyday looking at shells, rocks, and just enjoyed the coast. It is about 25-30 minutes to Acadia and Bar Harbor. This worked out fine for us as it is nice to be away from the 'hustle' of the main town, and had to be mindful of that as we planned our days so we weren't going back and forth too much (ie; having dinner in Trenton vs. Bar Harbor etc). There are some good restaurants in Trenton so we mostly did days in Acadia. If you want a private, relaxing, clean getaway, this is it!

We loved our stay at Seascape. It was a serene and peaceful way to spend our summer trip. We took chairs down to the beach to enjoy some sun on our last day. We read and relaxed there. The house had the amenities we needed and any additional items we bought from the local grocery store, an eight minute drive away. Bar Harbor is a 25 minute drive. Its a cute and fun town. We also enjoyed some local hikes in Acadia. All on all it was a great trip.

This home was wonderful! It was super clean, well appointed and comfortable, especially the King bed. We had everything we needed including a beautiful view of the water and large front yard. Additionally it was less than 20 minutes to Acadia and to Bar Harbor so very convenient to get back and forth every day. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and we thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

The setting of the house was amazing! We enjoyed sitting in chairs down by the river and looking across to Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. The fire pit felt good on chilly evenings and the house was quite comfortable. The drive to the hikes we chose took between 20 and 30 minutes and it was nice to be away from all the crowds when we returned home.

This was perfect for our family of 4. We loved going down to the water to look for shells and dip our toes in. We even saw starfish one day! The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It took about 30 minutes to get to Acadia, but we also went to Bangor and Ellsworth so the location was great!

We so enjoyed our stay. Very clean and loved watching the seals, fish, deer and eagles. The home looks bigger than in the pictures. Very nice!

The property was exactly what we were looking for when staying in Maine. The house was the perfect size for our family of 4. It was very clean, comfortable and well maintained and had everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. The views from the deck were wonderful (especially while having morning coffee!) and it was really nice to be able to access the beach easily. Communication with the owner was fast and easy, from questions about the property to the very clear instructions of check-in/check-out. I would highly recommend this property! We had a wonderful time at Seascape and hope to stay here again! Thank you!

Nice, but remote.
Nice property. Very serene setting but a little too far away from Bar Harbor, which is where we planned to spend the majority of our time on this trip.

We loved the quiet setting of this house. Looking at the water every morning was a wonderful
We loved the clean, welcoming house that greeted us on arrival. The easy to use kitchen and the helpful information about the area made our stay very enjoyable. Being a little ways out of the hustle and bustle of Mt Desert island was also a big bonus.

Clean throughout. Beautiful view. We enjoyed our stay!

Super clean with gorgeous views.
Very clean, spacious place and the waterfront views were spectacular. Good selection of board games too. The only negative was the lack of window shades including nothing in one of the bathrooms and you are not isolated. There are 3 properties very close by. We enjoyed Bar Harbor which was 30 minutes away. Thank you!

Very happy with our stay!
We stayed in this home for four nights / five days. The home was very clean and the location had a beautiful view of the water. We sat outside in the evenings with the fire pit on the front porch and it was very peaceful. The home was supplied with everything we needed. We recommend staying here and we would stay here again!

Seascape Trenton
The location of the property was great:, quiet with a great view. The house was spotless and extremely well stocked. and the large deck was wonderful. Cheri, the property manager, was very helpful and easy to work with. The issue we had was that the twin beds, one in particular, were very uncomfortable due to a significant sway in the mattress. It seemed that the box spring and/or the slats were broken or missing. Also, the house is not really suited to 4 adults. It is really a house for two adults and two younger children.. We would certainly use VRBO again,.but we would not return as 4 adults to Seascape Trenton.

Great house…great location
This was our seventh trip to Maine and second time renting this property. We have never rented the same property twice, until renting this lovely home. It is probably one of the cleanest if not the cleanest homes we’ve ever rented and the location would be hard to beat it you plan on being in the Bar Harbor área.

Perfect setting
Serene waterfront setting with bald eagles flying by and seals playing in the water. The house was plenty spacious for the 4 of us.

Beautiful Location
This house was a fabulous home base for our trip to Acadia. The location is quiet and peaceful and we had a great time exploring the rocky shoreline (go at low tide to see all sorts of interesting sea creatures!) It’s a 20-30 minute drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor so we did spend a fair bit of time in the car, but it was worth it for the space and quiet. The home itself was very clean, well stocked, and comfortable. It was especially nice to find things like soap and extra towels, which rentals don’t always include. We’d stay here again!

Very clean and has everything you need. Rather remote. Quiet. Deer running around. I would replace the mattress in master bedroom as it’s prolapsed on both sides.

I would replace the mattress in master bedroom as it’s prolapsed on both sides.

Ideal property and location
We stayed at Seascape with three adults and a toddler and it was the perfect location for our stay, whether heading into Acadia NP for a hike or further Downeast or over to the Blue Hill peninsula. The property was immaculate and instructions were clear and easy to follow. The large wraparound deck was a favorite hangout of our 18-month old son and the water views were a great way to begin and end the day. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.
