the location was beautiful and relaxing. The house was nice. It was close to Acadia. Stop at Sugar bakery (cash only when we went) that is close by for breakfast. Lobster pounds were close by and also very good.

The setting was beautiful and peaceful. There was plenty of room for our party of six. The two things I would suggest are - identify that the house has a lobster pot and the type of coffee maker available. I tried to get that info but was unsuccessful. Would go back again.

Nice tucked away home with a good amount of amenities for cooking, etc. We really enjoyed our stay and spent a lot of time in the back yard with the incredible view. The outdoor spaces and beach below felt very secluded and peaceful. We were happy with the location, with Bar Harbor and groceries both very nearby. We recommend it!

Great kitchen and living areas. 4 bedrooms with queen sized beds. Great water view with beautiful sunsets. Access to water for kayaks.

We stayed at this property with two families of four. There was room for us all and the bedrooms were all very comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking meals and there was a very nice grill on the back deck. The best part was the waterfront location and we enjoyed evenings by the fire pit. It was a great spot for day trips to Acadia National Park and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area.

Rural setting in the Trenton area but still close enough to shopping and restaurants. Excellent base for exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor. Magnificent sunset views over the water while sitting around the fire pit were a highlight. The house is older and needs some updates and more meticulous cleaning but everything was functional. We had a great time!

We loved the location, the access to the Maine coast out the back door and proximity to Acadia. Truly a lovely experience. Would gladly return.

This home’s main selling point is the magnificent view, which we enjoyed every morning and evening in the comfortable Adirondack chairs set up in the backyard. The home is a little dated but the sheets were clean, the beds comfortable, and there were plenty of towels. The kitchen has all the appliances you’ll need. All in all, well worth the price and the experience.

This house was absolutely perfect for our adventures in Acadia! My husband and I, and both of our moms, and we had PLENTY of room!! The “sunroom” was amazing and was really nice enjoying our lobster dinners while looking out at the bay. We also really enjoyed the beach access! It was really fun hunting for cool shells. We even saw a few little crabs! The property was clean, the neighborhood was very quaint and quiet, which we loved!!! We would definitely stay here again and I will recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

This home has it all! Waterfront property, slightly secluded, beautiful views, close to amenities and very clean. I would definitely book this home again!

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the waterfront location. The size of the home was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids. This was a comfortable place to relax at

Was visiting Maine with family to attend my son’s wedding at Acadia. Chose this house for the waterfront views and amount of space and it didn’t disappoint! The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the listing states and has photos of steps leading down to the beach but when we arrived the walkway was there but the steps were missing so we weren’t able to enjoy taking a walk along the beach and rocks which was the main selling point in selecting the property to stay at. Otherwise we were extremely satisfied with our stay and the house.

The serenity of this house was unparalleled. Arriving amidst a blizzard, discovering it felt like finding a pot of gold. Returning to the house was always a highlight for relaxation after exploring during the day. Unfortunately, the storm caused a disruption in the wifi service. We promptly notified the management, attributing the issue to the inclement weather. Despite the late hour, they assured us it would be addressed the following day. We sent a text message the next morning confirming that everything was back to normal, yet they still reached out to ensure our well-being. Their genuine concern was deeply appreciated. With such breathtaking natural scenery surrounding us, the absence of TV or internet felt inconsequential.

The fantastic private waterfront setting with gorgeous sunset views makes this property a wonderful vacation destination. It was an easy 25 minute drive to Bar Harbor, Cadillac Mtn and other popular Acadia spots.
The kitchen was well stocked for meal prep and serving. Although the appliances worked well, they were old and the stove, especially, could have used a better cleaning - but nothing that kept us from wanting to use it.
Living room and dining area in the sunroom were comfortable. Wifi worked well, but we were never able to get tv reception for our entire stay. We were given a discount for this inconvenience, but it was disappointing. Perhaps the system should be checked before each rental so that there is time for it to be resolved.
The bedrooms were neat, clean and the primary has a beautiful view towards the water. Beds were very comfortable with plenty of bedding and the bathrooms were well stocked with towels and toiletries.
We did have an issue with the door lock malfunctioning. The code is long & not easy to remember, so when the door locks behind you when it shouldn’t, it causes a hassle to get back inside. I read in prior reviews that other renters had door lock issues. I think it should be replaced. It was not enjoyable stuck outside in the cold wind while contacting managers for assistance. However, they did answer our call right away, provided a finicky resolution and were able to get us into the house.

Our stay was wonderful. Property was fantastic. My only complaint is that when I reserved the property I was quoted one price and when I got my receipt VRBO had added an additional $272 service fee that was not disclosed when agreed to the rental price. VRBO advertises "no hidden fees" but that was not my experience.

Great spot for our girls weekend. House was very clean with great views and had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay. Home is very well furnished. All four bedrooms. Common area and a 3 season porch overlooking lake are great for socializing. Kitchen amenities were comprehensive.

The house was very comfortable for us 4 gals who came to visit Bar Harbor and hike Acadia. The keyless entry code did not work, but Vacasa gave us code to the lockbox for the house key. We loved being on the water, beautiful sunsets and fun firepit. There was no hairdryer in the house, so the local agent was kind enough to drop one off the following day. Beds and linens were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels. This was a very nice vacation house. Highly recommended.

The process to rent this home was easy until we had to “check in”. The code that was given to us was incorrect and the property manager wasn’t able to help. Just a minor inconvenience though as they rectified the situation with keys, however they did send someone to take a look at the locks. He was not able to fix it and said he would call us at some point to come fix it. Well that never happened, so hopefully the next renters didn’t have the same problem as us. The tv in the living area also was nearly impossible to get off of the children’s programs. We finally figured out how to program it to a few regular channels with the help of you tube. Other than that, everything was fine. we werent’ there for tv, but there was one rainy day so we stayed in. overall a very nice home.

This was the perfect place for a relaxing family vacation with access to Acadia National Park. The home is in a beautiful secluded setting where you can enjoy all your meals on the porch overlooking the water, go for a swim and have easy access to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Trenton, and Ellsworth. The house is very comfortable and fully equipped with all that you need for your vacation home.

Family trip to Acadia! We really enjoyed the property and the location wry ideal. Everyone at the property were great! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We will definitely be back!

We were in Maine for my daughters graduation from UMaine the house is not close to UMaine (45 minutes) but we wanted to spend a few days in Bar Harbor and Acadia
What a beautiful house could not have asked for more. All 4 bedrooms were very comfortable, the master suite was great for my 80 year old parents. The view from the many windows overlooking Trenton Bay was incredible. We would definitely book again and spend more time to just enjoy the house and location.

Nice house about 15 minutes away from Walmart superstore, 30 minutes from Bar Harbor and 20 minutes from Acadia NP. Enough space to host 8+ people. Good size and well equipped kitchen. Super fast internet. House/furniture need some updates

Enjoyed our stay. Central location to all the things. Beautiful view as well.

This house was exactly as the listing described and was very clean. Our whole family loved it. It’s pretty close to Acadia and the downtown Bar Harbor area. The property is great and all of our questions were answered immediately. It was such an easy process, we will be back!

The location of the home and views were absolutely wonderful. We were in bar harbor in under 30 minutes, and there were a lot of options for restaurants, grocery, etc. that were very close. The house itself was not nearly as clean as we expected (very dusty, smudges all over the windows and glass, and the inside of the fridge was very dirty). There were some items in disrepair (blinds wouldn't close properly, decking outside was loose), but nothing out of the norm for a rental property. We did have a toilet handle that broke, but vacasa (and the local repair person) was very responsive and came and fixed it while we were out, making the experience seamless for us. We really appreciated the attentiveness and response of vacasa when any issues arose.

Our four night stay at this Oceanfront property was fantastic! The home was clean, well stocked, and had plenty of room to spread out. The bedrooms were good sized and beds comfortable. There were ocean views from most of rooms and we especially liked the sunroom that had a dining room table that sat six. There are two decks, one on either side of the sunroom. One had the new grill and the other had Adirondack chairs and steps to the front yard. The Fire pit overlooking the water was our favorite spot. Sunsets were amazing. We did bring our own wood, but found plenty of drift wood along the beach. The beach is rocky and easily accessed by the wooden walkway and stairs. The communication was impressive. One of the shower heads was broke, so I sent a text and it was replaced that evening. Home is an easy commute to Bar Harbor. Place is great and I hope to return!

The house is really nice with very large bedrooms. The view is beautiful and having access to the water in the back yard is awesome.

This could be a really nice place to stay. It is not taken care of properly. Many things don't work, like the dishwasher (half the time the soap dispenser does not open up), blinds (really need them in the summer it gets really hot in the house), fans (without air conditioning you really need fans in all the bedrooms and the living room - the exposure is from the west and it really gets hot in the afternoon. Some rooms have ceiling fans which are great. But not all of them do. The living room has a really old floor fan which needs to be replaced), the grill is not working. We would have like to use it but could not get it lit. The property manager told us he tried to get the owner to replace it last year, but they would not spend the money. We also had issues with the water. We kept running out in the afternoon. On the 4th day we ran out in the morning and that is when I called to report it. We had NO WATER! I called at 8:30am and had not heard back from anyone by noon time. So I called the property manager and he thought he had seen a ticket reporting the issue. It was not till the late afternoon when they had a plumber come. WE HAD NO WATER. There was a leak with one of the filters. The basement was flooded. I felt like this was an extraordinary issue and some sort of apology at the least should have come from the owners. But we heard nothing. I would not stay at this place again. Like I said it is beautiful looking out the windows. But this property is not property is not maintained. It is an income property and they are squeezing out all the profits and not taking care of the home.

Two families shared the house for a week. We rented a kayak from a local establishment and brought kick board and floaties for the water. We swam, skipped stones, explored the tide pools (lots of sea stars, crabs & snails.). We saw porpoises when kayaking around. Made s'mores at the fire pit and enjoyed Bar Harbor and Acadia on several different days. Great food, shopping, hiking and sightseeing all within 30 min. This place was perfect for our Maine vacation.
We were a bit warm in the house without air conditioning. The many windows let in lots of sun. It's best to open the windows, close shades and use fans to circulate the air.

Great location with direct access to bay and only a short drive from Bar Harbor and Acadia.

My friend and I take our 6 kids on a road trip every summer. This ended up being our favorite by far! The house was a perfect size for us. Everything we needed was included and then some. We felt right at home. We loved going to the Beach to look for shells and sea glass and I especially loved sitting in a chair with a book and sleeping with the windows open at night. It was so peaceful. We all agree that we'd love to come back again.

Truly a peaceful paradise
We loved the fire pit by the lake. That was our happy spot. We were very comfortable in this home. It was fairly close to the grocery store and in a very quiet private and peaceful setting.

Maine vacation
We stayed in this home for two nights. On the first night we noticed several large ants inside of the house. I sent a message to the manager of the property, and got a written response that there was a maintenance ticket put in for the issue. I then asked for someone to call me, which never happened. We never had anyone come to the property to address the issue. We continued to see the ants throughout the time we were there. The home was nice other than the ant issue, but I was very unhappy with the poor response from the manager, and the inability to have any way to contact them other than online. I sent a third note to them when we returned from our trip, and did not get any response from them. I would not stay at this property again.

Beautiful view
Quiet location close enough to Bar Harbor and Acadia. House was clean and spacious with a gorgeous view! Well stocked with towels and all cleaning supplies. Water pressure and temperature was amazing! Outside fire pit was also a plus. Overall great stay
There were a few negatives, The lock on the front door was a huge inconvenience as it locks every time you shut the door leaving you to renter the code. Code was 10 digits long and not easy to look up upon entry, especially when unloading groceries or luggage. No garbage cans provided for outside. Trash room in garage was a mess with garbage from previous renters thrown throughout the room. The exterior door in the bedroom needs attention. If you lean on the door it pops open regardless of being locked. Leaving our small children in that room was a safety concern.
