DETAILED DESCRIPTIONS:
KITCHEN/LIVING/DINING AREA- This is one large 'open space' and the heart and center of the home. Unlike some older cottages where rooms are split up, here, while you cook in an open kitchen you can watch TV, talk, see, and hang out with the others in the living room. Those in the living room can be on the computer, watching TV or simply relaxing. There are multiple places to sit and eat. In the kitchen is a breakfast area with bench seating. Near the TV, there is a large stone coffee table for snacks and informal meals, and there is also a dining area that seats eight for those special family events. Oh, need a quick bite? Our two bar stools awaits at the kitchen counter!
BATHROOMS - There are two full bathrooms on the first floor. One is linked directly to the master bedroom, and the other in the hall of the house. Seniors will enjoy the easy access to both the bedroom and bathrooms. Both are equipped with good-sized showers, and the hall bath has a bathtub for those who love to bathe! Upstairs, there is a full bathroom that accommodates the upstairs guests.
BEDROOMS - There are four bedrooms, two downstairs, two upstairs, perfect for multiple families. All bedrooms have pillow-top beds for a relaxful sleep. The downstairs bedrooms include a room with two full bunk beds, great for kids and families with young children. There is room for an additional pack-and-play or air mattress.The other downstairs bedroom has a king bed with a ceiling fan. The upstairs bedrooms include a king and a queen bed. In the upstairs bedroom with the queen bed, you can fit another air-mattress if you'd like!
DECK - Upstairs there is a deck that overlooks West Avenue. Enjoy dinner and catch-up times throughout the day! The deck has a table that comfortably seats four, but the deck can hold up to eight.
ADDITIONAL OUTDOOR SEATING - There is a table with several chairs to sit around the grill while you are waiting to use the shower or waiting for the food to cook, or simply hanging out with family and friends.
OUTDOOR SHOWER- There is nothing like taking relaxing shower in 85 degree weather! Before going into a cool house, it is nice to get all cleaned up and head in to enjoy the comforts of home. With the adjustable shower head, kids love using the shower, sometimes for the very first time!
GRILL- A gas grill awaits those special barbeque treats that are a must for summertime fun.
OUTDOOR SHED - Enjoy the beach chairs, toys, and other surprises found in our shed.

There are just so many great things about this VRBO. Location, cleanliness, the amount of space, the smart use of space, and communication with owners are just a few. There are little things that make the stay top notch such as the beach cart, the access to beach toys if you need them, the outdoor shower with foot wash, and the porch with a nice shady umbrella.
Now- if you want fancy schmancy this might not be what you are looking for. But if you want an awesome stay in a clean, comfy, fun house with everything you need than this is your place. It really is a perfect Jersey Shore beach home.

Lovely well stocked family friendly home! So beachy and charming! Plenty of space for 3 adults and 2 teens. Wonderful host, and easy check in, great communication. We all loved the porch as well! My only suggestion is bring your own pillows:)

My family and I have stayed here the last 2 summers. It's only 2 blocks from the beach and 4 blocks from the large playground on 34th Street. There is also a smaller playground right next to house. The owner is super nice and responsive.

We had a wonderful 2 week family vacation at this property. The house was clean and well appointed with games and plenty of beach toys to keep our 1 & 3 year old occupied. It was an easy walk to the beach thanks to the beach cart that’s provided with the house. We were also impressed with how well appointed the kitchen was! We’d absolutely stay here again, we all loved it!

Perfect beach cottage
This is the perfect beach cottage. It’s comfortable, clean, and has plenty of space for a family to enjoy a beach vacation. I love that it isn’t one of the generic two story condos taking over the town. The owners provide lots of nice extras like a beach wagon. The location was perfect, although I’d encourage people to consider renting bikes if they want to zip to the downtown area and not have a long walk or worry about parking. We loved biking to pick up bagels and donuts each day and there is a bike shop just down the road. You are within walking distance of multiple ice cream shops which is a MUST at the beach! We have already booked for next year!!!

Great space for multi- family vacation
Two families had a great vacation. The two rooms with king beds were great for the two couples. There was plenty of room in one room to add a cot so no kids had to share a bed. A fully stocked kitchen, grill, large dining table and close proximity to grocery store made cooking and sharing meals together easy. Adults and our four teens alternated between enjoying the deck, and we had great beach days- especially with help of supplies (chairs, toys, boogie and skim boards, cart, etc.) provided in outdoor storage. Outdoor shower was good for when we returned. Rented bikes from nearby bike store made getting to boardwalk easy, and the kids also enjoyed basketball hoops at end of block. If we make it to the Jersey shore again from San Francisco, we’ll be sure to stay again.

Great place in OCNJ
We really enjoyed our stay in this home. It was clean and comfortable. It was also great to have beach chairs, umbrellas, a beach cart and sand toys included with the rental. The owners were quick to respond with any concerns.

Great Stay!
We stayed at Ken's home for a week trip with the family and had a great time. The home was great and had everything we needed for the trip including all the beach accessories for the daily trip to the beach. Great location. Highly recommend!

Perfect house for families!
We had a wonderful stay! The house is cozy but had plenty of space for two families (4 adults, 3 small kids). The beach shed was an absolute godsend for us and meant we didn’t have to lug beach chairs and wagons from home. The house also has games and other amenities perfect for small kids. We enjoyed dinners at the spacious dining room table and drink on the deck when the kiddos went to bed. The walk to the beach is quick and easy and the house is located in right near a fantastic playground. It was a week to remember!

Amazing Beach House Stay
My family had the most amazing time staying in this house. Everything was extremely clean and ready to go and the hosts left us a present. The location is absolutely perfect as it's only 2 1/2 blocks from the beach (key for little children) and is in walking distance of several shops, a bakery, etc. There were tons of beach umbrellas, chairs, etc. in the shed with wagon to pull it and the outdoor shower and clothes line were an essential addition. The house was perfect with 4 bedrooms (2 upstairs and 2 downstairs), giving a great separation of space. We loved the kitchen with the dining nook and the big dining room table. The living room was super comfortable with big, overstuffed couches and the 3 bathrooms were great, so we could let the kids have their own. Everything was clean and perfect and they even left kayaks for us to use, even though we never got the chance. I love not being next to the boardwalk since it's quieter, but close enough to enjoy some evenings there. Perfect rental!

Fabulous place
This was one of 3 places that we rented for a family vacation. We used it as the main house, where we gathered for meals. Plenty of room, nice kitchen with lots of dishes and silverware. Two bedrooms on the first floor, which was great for the two family members who have trouble with steps. Close to Dot's Pastry, the beach, playgrounds. Lots of boogie boards, beach chairs, beach cart, and other beach items which we appreciated. Love the feeling of family and safety with children at this location. The owners were kind enough to let us in early, and even left us a gift.

Clean, many nice features
Accomodated 6 adults & 1 toddler very well. Owners very thoughtfully left a "welcome" bag. The house very clean; all rooms had TV...there is a park for the children a few doors away & a larger one a few blocks away. Highly recommend this beach house. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay & sad to leave.

Overall I was extremely pleased with this home and hope to make it a yearly tradition. The owners are a pleasure to deal with and everything was a very smooth process.

Wonderful Family Getaway
This charming single unit home makes a perfect backdrop for a family beach vacation. The owners are a dream to deal with, and the property listing and pictures are accurate.
This is a clean and well maintained home, located just a couple of short blocks from the beach. There are plenty of little neighborhood gems within walking distance too, from a great little playground a few doors down to Dot's Pastry Shop a couple of blocks away, and be sure to enjoy a take out meal from Piccini's.
Overall, a winner of a home in a classic NJ family beach town.

Home away from home
This house was very clean and in great proximity to the beach. Owner is very meticulous about the property and has added alot of nice touches, including docking stations for iPhones in some rooms. Owner was responsive to all our concerns and questions. The house was further to the boardwalk that we had thought, required a car drive. Not too much in the way of restaurants on the immediate area, but there is some stuff within walking distance. Overall a fantastic stay in Ocean City!

Awesome Home Away from Home!
We recently stayed here with five adults (all of whom are 5'11 or taller) and two kids under two and we had more than enough space. The house was so clean and decorated with modern touches that it really felt like a home away from home for the week. With the updated, modern kitchen we gladly stayed home to eat with the kids. The flatscreen tvs in each room and wi-fi were definitely a great bonus. Having a playground at the end of the block made it so easy to occupy the kids while we got ready for the beach (which was just a short walk away). Most importantly, no one else in the house could hear the baby when he woke up multiple times during the night (which doesn't even happen at home)! We had a great time and would most definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants a modern, clean shore house all to themselves!

Spent a week here with our grown children & our 22month old grandaughter, and felt right at home. Rooms are bigger than pics appear. Location was perfect. Not too far from the beach & within walking distance to supermarket as well as convenient store. We chose to drive to the boardwalk, because bus shuttle fee for all 8 of us was not cost efficent. No rainy days, we did not get much use of the TV's in every room, but it was nice to know they were there if we needed them. 3 bathrooms were definitely a plus as well. Owners were most attentive to any concerns & made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Nice to stay in a private home without the worry of noisy co-tenants upstairs/downstairs. Very very nice home!

Loved This Cottage!
We had a marvelous OC vacation while staying in this lovely renovated cottage! Don't be deceived by the term, cottage; it has much more room and amenities than most rental units!! The home is immaculate and comfortable and perfectly situated to the beach and nearby activities. The owners are lovely to deal with as well. I would recommend this rental to anyone. Enjoy!

This home was a serene backdrop for our family's Shore beach and board trips. Downstairs activities revolve around the well-supplied kitchen, living room with enough space to cook, watch kids and be at the hub of action. All bedrooms are large enough and plush to satisfy guests, with one opening onto an upper porch. Although brand new, the home decor presents a warm, relaxed and comfy air throughout. Visitors eill enjoy the rooms designed with many personal touches. Few minutes walk to beach and free trolley transport to boardwalk is ideal. Fun, new playground is a short walk away. All rental arrangements handled professionally. Love the Shore? This home is a quality property for everyone to enjoy.

Awesome Home
We rented in OC for the first time this year and were not disappointed. We wanted a single as opposed to a condo, and this had it all and more. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, and designed so that it's homey yet there's plenty of space. House is close to alot which was great and older kids used the trolley for boardwalk nights. We will def be back to this home!!!!!!!!! Be sure to hit Dot's for pastries!!!!!!

Everything you want...... and more!
This was our first year vacationing in Ocean City, and we picked a gem of a house to vacation in! This house is beautifully decorated, serene and peaceful. From the moment you walk in the door (and there are many of them!) you feel at home. From the Welcome Home sign with your name on it that greets you in the kitchen to the little extras like bottles of water, beach chairs, beach tags, etc, etc, etc, we felt like we were entering our own little paradise. We loved the fact that the beach was only 2 blocks away, and a playground that was only steps from the house was an added bonus for our grandchildren. We rode our bikes on the boardwalk in the morning (which is only a few blocks away) and we also found a wonderful bike trail on Haven Avenue that is a must see. There are many shops and markets within walking distance and ice cream parlors too! In the evenings it was fun to walk on the boardwalk or to just sit on the upstairs deck and watch the people go by. The owners were very helpful in answering any questions that I had about the house. They did a wonderful job refurbishing it and their attention to detail shows in every room. The house is clean, beds very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. We would definitely rent this house again and would highly recommend it to anyone that wants to have a wonderful beach vacation experience.

Wonderful Beach Cottage
Our family had an awesome time in this extremely clean home. The cottage is located close to the beach and playgrounds. My older kids liked to walk to Hoy's and Blitz's market too. We brought our bikes and enjoyed early morning bike rides to the boardwalk. The accomodations are perfect - we loved the flat screen tv's in every bedroom! We hope to come back next year!
