We had a company Senior Management meeting at this property and it was very clean and beautiful. I would highly recommend this property for a Mid size group of people. Beds were comfortable and the pillows were amazing.
Only complaint was that the pool table is in terrible condition as well as the sticks.

We stayed with several families and enjoyed the house very much. It is spacious, has a wonderful kitchen, a table that fit all of us and great spaces for puzzles and games. Highly recommended for family gatherings or groups of friends.

Our Annual Family Gift. Beautiful home. Not as quality built as some of our previous rentals. Bennington Properties were great to communicate with and made us feel very welcome. They’re terrific hosts.

This home was perfect for our growing family of 17, ages ranging from 6 months to 40 years. Location:👌 in culdesac by golf course, bonus pond basically in the back yard.

The master suite tub with jets was AMAZING.

I'm sure I'm missing more but we plan to rent this home each annual trip to Sun River until we outgrow it!

We had plenty of room for our family of 15. Very comfortable with two levels to hang out in. The kids loved the pool table and the ping pong table. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the mornings watching several deer running after each other. The kitchen was well equipped with two ovens and two dishwashers for all the delicious food we prepared. All in all a great time with family in a house that worked well for us.

Our family stay was wonderful. Large open rooms with a lovely view of the golf course and pond through the expansive windows. Plenty of beds for all and the kitchen was equipped for any need. The pool table was enjoyed by all!

Great place for big group!
We’ll set up kitchen and nice big spaces for gathering the whole family. Manager was easy to get ahold of during our stay and was helpful with minor things that came up. Definitely recommend!

I have nothing but great things to say about this property. We filled the home to max capacity with a group of badass, fun-loving women (and one Weiner dog) with high expectations and standards and I heard nothing but positive comments about every aspect of our stay. My decision to book this particular rental came down to the open floor plan in the combination kitchen/dining room/living room and it was perfect for our goal of connecting with one another, being lazy and comfortable, cooking and eating so much delicious food, going on beautiful walks, playing, singing, dancing, hot tubbing, etc. There was great separation of space so that people could be in the downstairs den introverting or playing games without being bothered by the laughing and music that was happening upstairs. The kitchen had ample utensils and cookware, and counter space for bar items and large, buffet-style food serving. The dining room table allowed plenty of room for us all to have sit-down family style meals. Additional notes:
Check-in and check out were very simple and easy

The only slight criticism that I heard is that the pool table was uneven, but this was coming from a pool shark.
Over the course of the weekend comments went from, "We should do this trip at this house every year!" to "We need to this quarterly!"

It was very comfortable for all my family to stay in this house. We had my baby shower here and family came in from many states. Very comfortable and set up well so we could all have our own space. It was clean and working with the office for an early check in was easy.

Comfortable and organized
The spaciousness was great. The entertainment amenities was a nice plus (billiards table) as well as TV for every room and separate bathrooms for each room! While clean, many things were broke upon our arrival. One bedroom closet door was falling off its rail. The bicycles were in disarray and several kickstands would not keep the bikes up. All the TVs worked and were great except ONE in a bedroom that was an old CRT type that sat too low to watch from bed and was rather small by todays standards. The atmosphere was lovely inside and out. Minus the few issues we really liked this place.

We had an relaxing and comfortable vacation staying at Malheur 5. The house was spectacular with the view and the layout. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen as our family likes to cook. Everything you need to make a large or small meal was provided from utensils to appliances. There were enough bikes for 12 of us to enjoy the leisure riding to include taking my grandson on the ride in the wagon. You will not regret booking a family vacation at Malheur 5 for a group size of 12 or more.

Our house church of 14 people had the most wonderful retreat at Malheur 5! My favorite part of the house (in addition to having multiple suites) was the open floor plan of the kitchen, dining, and living area. It made it very conducive interacting with the whole group in various activities. The weekend turned out to be sunny and warm, and we ended up going on a long bike ride with about 8 of the bikes provided, a fabulous perk! Being so close to the bike paths and various local activities-golf course, observatory, nature center, stables etc. was really convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are hoping to return next year!

Overall the house was a perfect fit for the 6 families involved. We really enjoyed the two separate entertainment areas. There were a few issue with the home. The upper oven is about 40F off in temperature (cooks too cool). Xmas dinner was at 10PM. The next day I checked oven with my meat thermometer, no big deal probably needs a new element. The range knobs fall off. There is no power behind the upstairs TV to work the DVD player (according to my cousin who rigged up his laptop to watch movies on the TV). Otherwise, it was fine. Price was high for xmas and I expect to have a working kitchen for that, including enough dish and dishwasher soap. I marked would recommend but would mention the kitchen

Our group of 12-16 has been coming to Sunriver each year for 28 years. This is, by far, the best experience we've ever had! We rented both Malheur 5 and Malheur 10 from Bennington, The homes were perfectly appointed, well-maintained and the staff at Bennington is top-notch. One of our kids was home on leave after deployment in the mid-east. The folks at Bennington went above and beyond to welcome him back. The home was perfect...the weekend was perfect...we will be back!
