Escape to your beautifully maintained Beach Home Away From Home one block off the beach for a much needed relaxing and joyful vacation for your friends and family in the Live Oaks Community on Topsail Island. Located one mile south from the heart of Surf City and the historic Swing Bridge. This 4 bedroom 3 bathroom home is perfectly situated on the end of the neighborhood for you to enjoy the beautiful and unobstructed views over the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. Whether you're looking to get away for a couples retreat or a family vacation, this rental property is suited for your needs.
The Beach House has plenty of room to enjoy the outdoor island life with 2 covered porches and 2 sun decks. The front porch has a comfortable sectional along with 4 captains chairs and round table to enjoy a cup of coffee, glass of wine or nice meal with your family, while soaking up the beautiful views. The back porch is equipped with 4 captains chairs and a perfect spot to soak up some sun.
The top floor of the home is an open concept and great place for your family and friends to come together and spend quality time. The living room is equipped with a 70" flat screen TV with a Blu-ray DVD player and Apple TV with Netflix and Hulu and large selection of DVDs to choose from. There is also a Bose Wave IV Radio/CD/Bluetooth system for your musical enjoyment. You will surely enjoy this space overlooking the ocean.
The bottom floor of the home has 3 bedrooms with adjoining porches. The Anchors Aweigh Bedroom has a Twin over Twin Bunk Bed and a Single Twin Bed along with a 32" flat screen TV with Cable and DVD player. The Sail Away bedroom has a Twin over Full Bunk Bed along with a 32" TV with Cable and DVD player. The Sea Shells Master bedroom is the most relaxing with a King Bed and 42" TV with Cable and DVD player. The MBR also has its own Full Bathroom with double vanity and Shower/Tub combination. There is also a second Full Bathroom on the bottom floor with a Shower/Tub combination and attached Washer/Dryer combination unit room. There is also a mini refrigerator in the laundry room perfect for cold bottles of water before heading out to enjoy some quality beach time.
The 4th bedroom is located on the top floor with a Queen Bed along with a 32" wall-mounted Roku Smart TV with Cable.
Bedding linens and bathing towels will be provided for each Bedroom/Bathroom for ease throughout your stay.
I fully understand it is sometimes difficult for people to fully break apart from work when vacationing and need further amenities to ensure piece of mind to truly enjoy time together with your family. The top floor also provides a small work desk and Apple iMac in case work needs to be attended to.
Other amenities include Central AC/Heat, WiFi, Telephone and access to the professionally maintained community pool. There is also a 130 can beverage cooler located in the pantry for extra space away from the refrigerator when you want to enjoy a nice refreshing frosty! There is also a YETI, Tommy Bahama and IGLOO cooler for all of your refreshment needs when enjoying the beautiful beach, the community pool or renting a boat. Beach chairs and umbrella are located in the outdoor closet below the house along with corn hole and washers for your enjoyment. The ground floor also has a picnic table and BBQ grill.
When it is time to go to the beach there are two locations to choose from just a short walk north or south of the property. When coming off the beach there is a refreshing hot/cold private outdoor shower to rinse off.

We had a great stay at Topsail and Brian was an amazing host! The home was very clean and well-stocked with all amenities you can think of! Very comfortable beds and nice living space inside and on the outside decks! A very short walk to beach and community pool is not crowded! We’ve stayed at numerous beach rentals and this one was the best by far! One clue was me not contacting the owner or real estate company by Day 2 to request maintenance! ….Highly recommend!!!

Upon arrival the house was in wonderful condition and very clean! Brian reached out before check in time to let us know the house was ready early. There were plenty of beach supplies at the house including chairs, towels, some toys, a shibumi shade and a cart as well as an abundance of different sized coolers. Brian checked in multiple times during the week to make sure all was well. I would definitely book this house again for a future trip.

Property is as advertised. Loaded with all the essentials for a week at the beach. Just as it says in the description, we could have literally packed nothing but our clothes. Easily accomodated our party of 10. House was super clean and was in a great location to enjoy the beautiful Surf City Beach on Topsail Island. Had the privilege of meeting the owner who lives nearby. Super nice guy and very accomodating. I've stayed in a lot of rental properties at a lot of beaches over the years and this was by far my favorite.

Brian was so great to work with and very responsive to all questions we had - both before and during our stay. The home had everything we could possibly need for a week at the beach which made the packing process so much easier! The location is gorgeous with the bay behind the property and the beach in front. Our girls (teens) could have independence because the beach, pool and bay were all so close. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Brian, for a great week!

This was our family's first experience at surf city. To say home away from home was an understatement. Lovely home, decorated beautifully, everything you need was in place. You were in need of nothing. It looks just as it was on the website. The walk to the beach was very doable. Brian was available during our stay and checked with us throughout the week to see if we were enjoying our stay. Our family was so taken with our vacation experience we contacted Brian before we left to book our 2025 stay. Already looking forward to next summer. A must stay place.

Brian has thought of everything! You could literally show up with your suitcase and nothing else. He has a beach cart, coolers, umbrellas, boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, even beach towels! We loved the views of both the ocean and the marsh. The pool was great for cooling off. The walk to the beach was maybe 3 minutes and easy to access. The only downside was crossing the busy street. Brian is a great host. We would definitely rent this house again if we return.

The home was perfect for our stay. Roomy, comfortable and conveniently located to the beach, restaurants, etc. If you are an angler, the community pier is a treasure trove not to be missed! Brian was a great host, thank you sir!

This was the nicest property we have ever rented - everything you could possibly need had been thought of, with high quality, beautiful decor. Beds and seating were very comfortable and it was perfect for a couple of families with kids or a group of adults. Spacious and light, and close proximity to beach access. There is also a pool on the property that looked very nice for renters in warmer months, and access to a pier overlooking the beautiful sound.
The condo is right off the main north/south road on Topsail Island so there is some traffic noise and you need to cross the road to get to the beach. We didn't notice the traffic while sleeping but there were white noise machines provided for light sleepers.
Brian, our host, was very responsive and helpful. We had one question about the washer/dryer, and he quickly solved it for us.
Would definitely recommend this beautiful property, and we hope to come back again!

This is our second year staying at Brian’s rental! Brian is awesome to work with and he makes coming w two littles so easy!! No need to pack chairs, umbrellas, beach cart, coolers, games, toys and this year he added a shubimi! The house is stocked with everything you need from kitchen ware to spices, dish soaps, paper towels and even extra beach towels! Easy walk to the beach and the pool is right there! My son loves fishing so we use the dock quite a bit! The sunsets are amazing!! Thank you Brian for another awesome beach trip and we are already for the next one!!

There were 4 adults and 4 kids under the age of 10. The rooms were perfect for kids with bunkbeds and TVs. The common spaces were beach-y and well stocked. The proximity to the beach was definitely manageable. And the community pool was a nice addition with the kids. The house had everything (and more) that we needed to ensure we felt welcome and settled for the week. The property owner was attentive and quick to respond. Overall, we enjoyed our time in Topsail.

Had a wonderful week! The house was perfect....all we needed to do was unpack clothes/groceries and start enjoying the beach! Brian even dropped off bags of ice because the ice maker wasn't working. I could write a novel about everything we loved from the beds to the Shubumi!!! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful family vacation at this property in June 2022. I can’t say enough about the property and how easy the three minute walk to the beach was (leaving the neighborhood, cross the street and go to the left past the three houses to find the path, cross the 2nd street and go to the left past three more house to find the beach access ramp… super easy). The house had every convenience you will need for your stay, from beach chairs, to kitchenware and appliances to TVs in every room. Brian, the property owner, was great both before the stay and when we had questions during our stay. He’s local and happy to help with anything that comes up. Don’t hesitate on this listing… it’s exactly what you’re looking for. We’ve stayed at many rentals and this one was top notch!

We’ve been coming to the island for 16 years. We have never stayed in the exact same condo/house. This was by far the best decorated home. It felt like home. The furniture, bedding, pillows were all very comfortable. There was plenty of space for all of us, including 6 teenagers. They loved being able to walk to the pier and hanging out. Although I’m use to being ocean front, the walk was very manageable, even with all our gear. It was so nice to have many beach accessories available for our use too. The homeowners truly thought of everything you might want at the beach. The only downside was the mosquitoes. We weren’t able to use the pool because they were so bad. However, I think a truck may have come and sprayed for them because we didn’t notice them as much towards the end of the week. I would love to come back to this property again.

My husband and I along with our 4 daughters enjoyed a fantastic spring break vacation at Brian's beach house. We were honestly sad to leave! The house was decorated very beautifully, spacious, comfortable, clean, and well-stocked. The pictures included in the listing very accurately represented what we found when we arrived. My husband had to work a couple of days during our trip and was able to use a small office space that was set up near the kitchen. Our oldest daughter is a college freshman, and I am in grad school, and we were able to complete our assignments and my husband was able to conduct multiple work meetings with no trouble as the wifi capability was sufficient.
Getting to the beach was pretty easy and took no more than 5 minutes even with kids and a wagon full of stuff. It is a straight shot down the sidewalk and then you have to cross the street. We are people who set all our stuff up at the beach in the morning and stay until evening high tide. We walked back and forth to the rental for bathroom breaks, snack/drink refills etc. all day every day and never felt that it was a big trek. Our 6-year-old twins never complained about the walk at all. The issue is with crossing the street and that is only because people drive entirely too fast through there. We have that problem in our own neighborhood too. We just held their hands and crossed when it felt safe.
In case it helps anyone, My parents (68 and 71 with replaced joints ;) )joined us for two days at the end of the week and had no trouble navigating the interior or exterior stairs and had no issues with the walk to and from the beach. My dad kept saying how pleased he was with the house and the beach access.
Brian is an absolutely phenomenal host! It is very easy to see how much work he puts into making sure his home is comfortable and clean and that his tenants enjoy their time there. We look forward to staying at his place again in the future!

Thoroughly enjoyed this property. Location is great.Very close walk to the beach and short drives to restaurants,etc. Charming decor makes it so cozy. I don't think there wasn't anything that could not be found in the house. Though we brought our own supplies,if you miss anything,it's there. Owner was very approachable when contacting him. A definite repeat stay if we go to Topsail again.

Awesome vacation home. Just a short walk to the beach (even with kids) and just a short drive downtown. I've also never stayed at a rental that provided as much as this one: fully stocked kitchen, linens, laundry detergent, Yeti coolers, plenty of chairs and beach gear, and more. This property from top to bottom was clean and well equipped. You can not go wrong renting this beach house. Good views of both the ocean and the inter coastal. Lots of beach chairs, umbrellas and toys for all ages as well. The beach access was an easy, short walk down the sidewalk. We had a great stay.

Perfect! Everything about this property and experience was fantastic! We didn’t want for a single thing! Immaculately clean. Exceptionally well stocked. Beautifully decorated with comfortable, quality furnishings throughout.
Short walk to the beach. Private community access to Pier and pool even better! We had teens and 85-year old grandparents with us and all loved it! Note plenty of stairs = mobility required.

This property exceeded our expectations in every way. They owner has gone the extra mile to really think about his guest. There is everything you need like yeti coolers, beach chairs, and even sand toys for the kids. We normally bring a full car load of stuff but it all stayed packed because this house had it all. Brian was so responsive and a great host. We had a 4 adults and 4 kids and never felt crowed. The beach was close by and you can see it from the back porch and feel that ocean breeze too. We come back to topsail this is where we will stay again.

We truly enjoyed our week at this property. The townhouse is clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. It is fully stocked with all you need including extras such as beach towels, beach chairs and coolers.
Location is great, 3 minutes walk to the beach and just a short walk to the intracoastal. Also just a short bike ride to Surf City!

It was CLEAN well stocked with lots of extras that made traveling much easier! We didn’t need to pack coolers, towels, linens, kitchen supplies, chairs, etc……it’s all there folks! The walk to the beach (even with kids) is easy and the older kids fished at the dock multiple times a day. All the beds were comfortable and the AC works great! We were very comfortable when inside the unit and sleeping at night. Brian has gone above and beyond to make sure this unit has exactly what you need! He is very responsive to messages and replies back very quickly. Thanks for a great week at the beach!

This home was all that was advertised and more. It has a cheery, extremely CLEAN, and comfortable feeling with the most generous amenities I've ever encountered. I'm a seasoned VRBO renter, but was certainly appreciative of the extra care taken for renters. The owner was helpful and kind. Please consider this property - you won't be disappointed!

Brian’s beach house was beautiful! It was close to the inlet and walking distance from the beach. It was super vacation friendly with beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. We were very comfortable and he had all the kitchen accessories so we could stay at the house and cook vs. going out. The views from the balconies were awesome!!! The location was great. It was close to the boat launch and the town. We liked riding our bikes around the area. We will definitely be back!

When Brian says the house has all that you need to enjoy your time at the beach he isn't kidding. Everything was accommodating, cozy, and so much like home we stayed an extra day. The house is gorgeous and more comfortable than we imagined. We loved that all of the beach supplies where at our disposal and we didn't have to tote them.from home. We stayed at Brian’s house with two young kids (2.5 and 1) and had the most wonderful time. The beach is super close, the pool is right next door and his house is WONDERFUL. It was fully stocked with anything you might need, including pool and beach toys, boogie boards, etc. The home was very clean and comfortable. Brian is a fantastic host with quick responses and Checked in via email during our stay to make sure we had what we needed. We will definitely be back!
