Wide-open ocean views and sea breezes will make you fall in love with this authentic ranch-style beach home. “M & M Beach Oasis” is a beautifully decorated beach home that provides plenty of space and tons of privacy to allow you to have a wonderful place to spend your vacation! This oceanfront home has amazing views of Top Sail Beach and its deck steps put your toes in the Atlantic Ocean beach. Sit on the beach or sit on the marvelous deck and take in the crashing waves.
This home is located in the low-traffic area of Topsail Island which affords you peace and quiet in a tranquil setting while being just minutes from shopping, golf, casual and gourmet dining. Additionally, you are within walking distance of the Surf City Pier.
If you are an active family or a laid-back retired couple, you will love the views from the two large picture windows facing the beautiful ocean. The home features an open living area with very comfortable couches and recliners to relax in. The extremely well-equipped kitchen with granite countertops makes meals a breeze. The dining area seats 8-10 and there is additional seating for 4 at the pub table which both allows you to eat and dolphin watching at the same time. The four bedrooms comfortably sleep ten; two master suites one with a king and one with a queen, and additional two bedrooms one with queen and another with a full bed and a day bed with a trundle bed.
The wrap-around deck has lots of sunning areas across the complete ocean-side of the house and wraps around the front to watch the sunsets. When you need a break from the sun, there is an oceanfront Gazebo too! You will find the Gazebo a great place for sunrise coffee in the morning, and romantic nights watching the moonlight glimmer on the ocean.
Also on the deck for you is a convenient hot/cold outdoor shower, after playing at the beach, and an outdoor sink to wash the treasures you find on the beach.
The King Master bedroom has a king-size bed with a full-size dual recliner couch, a 42” HD TV, and a private bath. This makes the king's master bedroom its own private getaway. The Queen Master is oceanfront with a queen-size bed, 32” HD TV, and its own private full bathroom. The two additional bedrooms are between the two master suites. One has a queen-size bed, 32” HD TV, and the fourth bedroom has a full bed, and a day bed with a trundle bed, Pack N Play, and its own 32” HD TV. There is an additional full bath just across the hall from these two bedrooms.
The living area has a 48” HD TV, DVR, with a Blue Ray. (I know who needs TVs, with the ocean just outside the door) The DVR is a nice treat you won’t find in many rentals. Record your favorite shows or pause live TV so that you can enjoy your vacation on your time, and not miss any of your favorite shows or sports events. You can also maximize your vacation time by recording your favorite shows and being able to fast-forward through the commercials. This gives you more beach time with your family (usually cutting 15-20 minutes out of a 1 hr. show). The High-speed Wi-Fi Wireless Internet and unlimited long distance are available at no cost to our guests.
THE HARDEST THING IS DECIDING WHAT TO DO NEXT! There are boats/wave runners/paddle-boards/surfboards/ bikes/kayaking on the sound/parasailing/windsurfing and all your beach equipment needs available at many rental locations on the island. Located within a few miles from the house there are fishing, golf, shopping, several casual and fine dining, local bars for some great frozen drinks, and ice cream shops (for the kid in us all). The paved shoulder pathway on the main road makes jogging or biking more enjoyable as well as safe. The pathway runs the entire way from north to south of the Island (about 22 miles long). If fishing is your interest, you can surf fish or make arrangements with a fishing charter to test your skills. Did I mention the island is known for the shark’s teeth? I am always looking for that big one!!
Enjoy watching the sunrise from the deck and soaking up all that the beach has to offer. There is no need to ever leave the property! You are away from the hustle and bustle of overcrowded beaches with all of the high-rise hotels, yet still close enough to enjoy a big city. Wilmington is 35 minutes away and offers many fine restaurants, numerous upscale and discount shops, parks, and an international airport (ILM).

We recently completed our first visit to Beach Oasis, and we cannot wait to return! From 4 years old to 74 years young, this home fit our multi-generational family perfectly! We loved having everything on one level, and it still felt spacious! Merrijo has clearly gone out of her way to make this house feel like a home away from home! Little touches like nightlights and lots of small beach chairs were perfect for the little ones. The mattresses were very comfortable, and the recliners in the living room were wonderful too! We cooked in every night and loved eating outside on the deck by the ocean! Oh, and I can’t forget the cleanliness! This house was the cleanest rental we have ever booked! Just book it! It’s perfect!

This house is so clean and cozy. Very spacious, especially for being a one floor plan! Furniture is very comfortable ( LOVE the swivel, rocking recliners!!) only used 2 of the bedrooms, but both beds were comfortable! Very nice deck, amazing outside shower!! Just a few steps down to the beach. Definitely would stay there again!!!!!

Yes I repeated that because even though the house is definitely not new, it is very well maintained. We've stayed on Topsail Island many times in the past and would definitely consider this home again.
We absolutely loved sitting on the deck and having nothing to obscure our view of the beach and ocean.
The beds were very comfortable and everyone slept well every night.

We had the most wonderful stay at M&M Beach Oasis! Beautiful, comfortable, clean, delightful host… Everything was five star, with the exception of the bathrooms. They get 3.5/4 stars. A little tight and the water likes to escape the shower curtains, but otherwise fine. It was fantastic having two en suite baths and one hallway bath… Plus the outside shower, which my son thoroughly enjoyed. We would welcome the opportunity to stay again next year!

This is the most comfortable, clean, and welcoming house on the island. The other ladies in our group were in awe of the beautiful decorations and cleanliness. The beds are very comfortable and makes it feel like home.

We had a wonderful stay visiting my son who is stationed at Camp Lejeune. There was plenty of room for 4 adults and a 16 yr old. The only complaint is we didn't stay long enough! Next time we are in the area, we would love to stay again.

We just finished a ladies get away at M&M Beach Oasis. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect beach house. Between the views and the gorgeous beach decor in every room we found something new to enjoy each day. We have already booked a longer stay for next November. I would highly recommend.

Couldn’t have been a better family vacation. The house was amazing, the location was as good as it gets, and the views were spectacular. Plenty of comfortable space for our family and a well equipped kitchen for cooking fresh local seafood most nights. Walking out the back door and down the steps to a beautiful beach every day never got old, and the kids had a blast in the waves. Surfing was great, kids even caught their first waves, and I already miss sitting on the deck watching the ocean and the stars. Already booked for next year, can’t wait to go back!

we had a fabulous time. for seven of us it was small enough to feel cozy and comfortable but large enough that no one was feeling on top of each other. always had a perfect view of the ocean. tucked in from the road so it felt private.

This was such a wonderful home. Everything was so nice and clean. All of the furniture, appliances, cookware, and etc was all very nice and you could tell it was all high end and well taken care of. The location of the home was absolutely perfect. One of our favorites parts of the home was the wrap around deck. There was so plenty of nice patio furniture, beach supplies, and even an outdoor shower. We will be back asap!

I loved staying here! The house is awesome, has everything needed for a great week! I love that the living room chair swivels so you can look out the beautiful big window when you are tired of being outside.
The driveway is so private feeling on a long row of very open houses. Absolutely love the well established landscaping.
It can be a bit of a slide and a bit of a climb from the steps to the beach depending on how wet the sand is, but would only be an issue for someone elderly or with mobility issues I think. There is a rope that I think might be used to haul oneself back up, but I never felt the need to try that out. Lots of other houses up and down the beach had a similar stair setup.
There was a large chest of children’s toys, as well as boogie boards and beach chairs! That is well appreciated to save packing space! Love the sink for washing shells and a very convenient hose for spraying off feet and chairs.
Pro tip! The house is the first driveway on the left immediately past the 6 mile marker!

The house is perfectly located for the best sunrises and dolphin watching,
No complaints about the house at all. The beds are very firm-we prefer softer but that’s just a personal preference.
Perfect size for a family or friends getaway.
Only downside is the natural erosion coming from the water. It has caused you to have to “hike” through the loose sand on the dune up and down to the steps. The owners have provided a nice long rope to help get yourself up to the steps. Definitely not a place for elderly/infirm/handicapped thug want to walk down to beach. But again…no fault of homeowner, just nature.
Everything you could need was supplied in the kitchen and for that matter the house as well.
We’ll definitely be coming back.

For our annual family beach vacation, this year we ended up at Merri Jo’s property and it worked perfectly for us. The house was as clean as any beach rental we have ever had, the location was ideal, and Merri Jo was easy to communicate with.
The house is perfect for 6-10 guests and it had enough space while also feeling cozy. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. The dining space was big enough and worked well for us. The living room also had enough seating for us and room to relax.
The beach and back deck are the best part of the house though. Looking down the beach there might not be a house with a shorter trek from the deck to the sand. You don’t have to go down 3 flights of stairs like many places, just 6 or 8 steps and you’re there. The deck had lots of loung chairs and high top tables that were not only comfortable but they didn’t get hot in the Sun. The outdoor shower + sink + hose setup was also perfect for washing off after the beach. The deck was also very large which made storing beach chairs and toys very easy. Also, they provided many beach toys which were in good condition and much cleaner than we had seen in past homes.
We had a couple of unforeseen and non-preventable issues with the house that the owner remedied very quickly and very easily, so we really appreciated that as well. I would absolutely rent this home or any home of Merri Jo’s, as I know they are taken care of, in good condition, clean, and she is very easy to communicate with.

Game changer
This house was perfect for our family of 6. Owners & property manager were very attentive to communication. Plenty of space so spread out. The living room and dining area were comfortable to seat us all together. Super clean. Well equipped kitchen & thoughtful extras for all our needs. The best part by far was the view & direct beach access. It rained almost everyday we were there but the storms were short and didn’t interrupt our fun for long. This was our first time staying in a beachfront house- definitely a game changer. We’ve rented a lot of houses using VRBO- this one is the best we’ve found. Will definitely book again when coming to Topsail!

Our group of 6 had a wonderful stay for a week! We reluctantly came home yesterday after a great beach vacay at this beautiful property. Everything was extremely clean and the decor and comfortable furnishings were appreciated. The view from the large ocean facing windows was perfect! We very much enjoyed being able to have such a great view of the deck and ocean from the main living area. The joy of being at the ocean was always just a glance away. The comfortable recliners in the living room were in almost constant use while anyone was inside. We had a really low key relaxing time. We did a combination of eating out and ordering takeout because some days we just did not want to leave the beach house for very long. We stayed on the island or took short trips to the mainland portion of Surf City. Favorite places were The Daily Grind for coffee and breakfast sandwiches, Shaka Taco, Salty Turtle beer, Shuckin' Shack, and Surf City Line. There was so much to choose from it made it difficult to decide! A visit to The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehab center is a must! We learned a lot and everyone loved seeing the turtles. Buy tickets online before your trip because time slots are limited and they do fill up. We decided the beach house is in the perfect location on the island. It is a quieter area but really quick and convenient to all the food and shops in Surf City, even the ones across the bridge. We did drive up and down the island to check it out but really liked staying where we did. The hosts are easy to communicate with, very friendly, and the house is well cared for and so cute! This place is a gem. Just hanging out on the deck or the beach is hard to beat. One person in our group read 4 books and started a 5th during the week! Games were popular at night. We would love to stay again in the future!
