In need of some rest and relaxation? Come down and enjoy the ocean view and the pleasant and warm tropical Caribbean breeze. Only 23 miles east from the San Juan International airport. This Mediterranean style villa is located inside the tropical grounds of the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar beach resort hotel and spa. With over 2,000 sq. ft. of cozy and comfortable decoration, this two story villa is ideal for family and friends that are looking forward to soaking up and enjoying the warm Caribbean sun and two miles of sandy warm blue water beach. You can walk to the beach or use the complimentary 2016 golf cart to access the hotel, casino, restaurants, pubs or the clusters beach club pool. You’ll experience a beautiful hill top view of two world class 18 hole Golf courses, the Atlantic Ocean and the “El Yunque” rain forest.
Located on the lower floor with central air conditioning, you’ll enjoy the spacious living room with a beautiful view of the ocean and the resort greens. The kitchen is well equipped with all brand new needed utensils and basic necessities including a dishwasher, oven, microwave, stove and fridge. The dining table has space for (6) with brand new dinnerware. Also located on this floor is the breathtaking balcony view and a full bathroom. The upper floor has three (3) air conditioned bedrooms that sleep up to 10 guests along with two (2) bathrooms and a laundry room with washer and dryer. The Master bedroom and bathroom also has beautiful view of the northern coast to the rain forest. You can use the villa pool or go down to the beach and use the beach pool after a nice swim in the ocean. You can enjoy all this by having a nice walking stroll to the beach or use of the golf cart. There are also plenty of other activities minutes away from the resort such as “El Yunque” rain forest full of rivers and trails for hiking or biking, “Hacienda Carabali” for horseback, four tracks and go-cart riding. Two to three times a year we head over to Rio Mar for a tennis tournament and rent out a villa for the family.
The villa was perfect, immaculate when we got there and communication with the property manager was great. We got in an hour prior to check in and were able to drop off perishables before heading to tennis courts.
The rooms are ample and very comfortable as well as bathrooms. Kitchen was fully equipped as we cooked breakfast in the villa every morning and had everything we needed.
The use of the golf cart is super convenient as we had activities in the hotel and took the golf car over.
Pool inside the villa complex was empty and water was perfect. It felt like we had our own private pool even being 4th of July weekend.
Highly recommend the property!!

We loved staying here! So much room for all of us and a spectacular view. The golf cart was just all you needed to go to the beach club pool and beach nearby. Luquillo bars and restaurants are a short drive away as well as beautiful El Yunque.
The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We would stay there again!

Our family of 7 (grandparents through teens) comfortably stayed. The property was clean with all the basic necessities-soap/shampoo, towels, dishes, coffee maker, etc. The golf cart was a wonderful way to move about the resort. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. Close to El Yunque rain forest and Laquillo beach, which was perfect for exploring a bit. Every member of our party said they would stay here again!

The apartment was excellent. Clean space. Functional kitchen. Nice patio. Spacious living room and bedrooms. My kids loved driving with us in the golf cart. In addition to pool access nearby on the premises, there are many awesome activities close by in the rain forest (ziplining, ATVing, hiking, and more). Hosts were great. Helpful and patient with answering questions about the space before and during the trip. No major issues. When we had a small need in the middle, it was taken care of promptly. A great place to stay!

We had a wonderful and relaxing time here! We are only a family if 4, so there was room to spare, but my kids enjoyed having their own rooms. The resort property was dead- most days we had the beach to ourselves or shared with one other family. The food/drink stand at the pool was closed the entire time, but there was a smoothie truck that we took advantage of on Friday. We spent a lot of time adventuring off the property and this rental location was a great home base for us.

We had an early flight and the host allowed us check in early, which was greatly appreciated. This place has great air conditioning, which my family loved. Great restaurants near by and market not far either. We visited many fun places near by and so much to do. Car rental definitely needed unless your okay with staying on the grounds. Swimming pool was very big and the beach is right behind it so you can spend the day on both. The golf cart was a plus but make sure it has gas before taking off, if not you will need to purchase gas (gas can provided) at a near by gas station. Overall our stay was great. Thank you!!

Access to the private beach and beach pool made for several excellent days playing in the sand and water in a clean and uncrowded beach. The surrounding area is beautifully landscaped and being so close to the rainforest made for plenty adventure opportunities. The house is spacious, comfortable and has been well maintained. This villa was exactly what we needed. 6 of us stayed for 4 nights. Plenty of room for all of us plus plenty of towels and dishes. The views, golf, beach and pools were wonderful!

The property is very nice. It’s well equipped with beach chairs and even a cooler. Lots of towels too and fully air conditioned. The area is beautiful and access to the pool and beaches was great. We had a great time and def recommend it.

I went with a group of 10 friends and we had a great experience. Three full bathrooms are amazing to have when you have so many people. The place was clean and beautiful, with a short golfcart ride to a semiprivate beach. It is close to el yunque and outdoorsy activities, and a 30min drive to San Juan. We found almost everything might needed in the condo such as cutlery, cooking utensils, board games, a speaker, cooler, and water guns. Riding around the Wyndham with the golfcart was an incredibly fun way to get some amazing views. Property manager was always available, friendly, and attentive. Overall a great stay!

The property was better than I imagined. It was beautiful! Everything we needed was right there. Location was close to the rain forest and Loquillo Beach. We did not rent a car but had an easy time arranging transportation through the resort. We found a driver that took us everywhere we wanted to go.
The owner of the property was very nice and accommodating. Checking in and out was very easy. He contacted us to make sure we were ok.
The beach was very clean. It wasn’t overly crowded. The resort provides lounge chairs and umbrellas to relax on the beach. They have showers conveniently located outside the beach entrance to rinse off the sand.
The food and bar was conveniently located to the beach. I will say we were told from Friday at 4PM - Sunday at 4PM two of the beach restaurants/bars are not supposed to serve guests from the Villas. They only serve guests from the resort. They were kind enough to serve us if we took our food and drinks to go.
My family and I enjoyed the stay. We plan on visiting again and will definitely book with this host again. The property was better than the pictures show!

This house is decorated beautifully for you to enjoy every piece of your stay. The beach is located a little far from the house, your should expect to have a nice decent walk to the water, however, the view compensates everything, and you have the car helper where you can accommodate up to 4 ppl. Everything here is pleasant. I have nothing negative to say. I would suggest to add a play pen maybe for next time
