About this house rental
Our beautiful 1 bedroom/1 bath guest casita is nestled on a 3 acre ranch at the base of Mt. Lemmon in Tucson, Arizona. The casita’s open floor plan and high ceilings offers visitors a roomy and comfortable getaway just outside of Tucson city limits, but within minutes of everything!
This clean, furnished home includes a cozy living area with a large picture window of the Catalina Mountains, a beehive fireplace, and a flat screen TV with firestick. The full size kitchen includes a dining table for four, a full size fridge/freezer with icemaker, electric stove/oven, microwave, a Keurig brewing system and traditional coffee pot, blender, and all other utensils and dish ware to feel at home. The bedroom offers a comfortable queen size bed that guests love, an armoire and nightstands, and a large walk-in closet with a full-sized washer and dryer. The bathroom has a shower and large vanity with plenty of counter space, and drawers for storage. Our linens are replaced regularly to ensure cleanliness and comfort!
Outside, you can enjoy the breathtaking patio views of the Catalina and Rincon mountains as well as the beautiful sunsets of Southern Arizona. You can grill on the propane BBQ or just relax with a glass of wine from the neighboring vineyards in Sonoita and Elgin. We are minutes away from numerous outdoor activities to keep visitors entertained year-round: Pristine golf courses such as Arizona National Golf Club (1 mile) and Forty-Niners Country Club (3 miles) offer tee-times throughout the entire year. Great hiking/site seeing/and animal watching locations such as Saguaro National Monument East or Sabino Canyon are a short drive away. Various bike paths surround the Tanque Verde Valley for cycling enthusiasts, as well as Catalina Highway’s bike path that leads to Summerheaven and look out points. For those cyclists who chose to stay off the main roads, Tucson has to offer over 100 miles of 'The Loop.' Please check it out online.

We enjoyed our stay in the Tanque Verde / Catalina Foothills area of Tucson. Our accommodations were very comfortable and clean. The views of the mountains were spectacular. Our host Stevie was very responsive and helpful in going out of her way to connect us with tv service so that we could view the Super Bowl. In a word she was SUPER!

Stevie was very responsive, I loved how quiet this place was, especially compared to Sedona and Scottsdale. Every morning I was on the front porch with my coffee watching the sun rise on the mountains. This was very clean and offered everything we needed. Perfect for my wife and myself.

We enjoyed 20 amazing days at this Casita in the foothills of the Catalina Mountains. We saw over 30 species of birds from the shaded patio. This property is immaculate and well equipped for cooking. The bed was so comfortable. Good Wi-Fi
Great tasting water. You couldn’t find a better VRBO in the Tucson area.
Hope to return to this property again.

This cute little casita in the middle of the Sonoran Desert is surprisingly spacious inside. Though refreshingly minimalist, the cabinets are stocked with anything you might need, while the bathroom and all appliances are modern and streamlined. One of the most relaxing, peaceful and comfortable rentals I've ever booked. And Stevie is very responsive and accommodating. A great experience all around.

The place is clean and has all you need for a relaxing stay. But what makes this place special is that you can relax on the patio and birdwatch.

Private paradise!
My husband and I stayed briefly while in town for a family wedding. I wish we had spent more time on site, but as expected we spent a lot of time out and about with family. Everything was immaculately clean, fully stocked with essential items ….even a clean new toothbrush just in case! Everything was also labeled in the kitchen and on all the light switches ….which was so thoughtful. We sat each morning for a few hours on the front porch just watching the little lizards run around the driveway. We watched the mountain and had beautiful birds as well. Thank you Stevie for such a wonderful stay!

Privacy in the city
We were looking for a place that was quiet and would provide privacy, but at the same time be close in. This fit the bill perfectly. The views out all of the windows were spectacular. Everything we needed was provided. The unit was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were very happy with our choice.

Secluded desert retreat
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was immaculately clean, well stocked even with complimentary wine, water and coffee. The views of the mountains were beautiful. The yard was beautiful with natural habitat and animals. We grilled, sat outside on our patio. The neighborhood was quiet and gorgeous. The host was extremely communicative and great to work with. I could go on and on but I would highly recommend and we will be back! It exceeded our expectations.

PERFECT!
We stayed 1 week in this beautiful casita and it couldn't have been more perfect. The kitchen and sitting areas were great, the bed was super comfortable. Nice walk in closet for hanging up all our clothes. The bathroom was large and plentifully supplied and the shower had great pressure. Sitting areas in front and back offered plenty of privacy and nice views. The Casita is located very close to lots of great trails in Mt. Lemmon area and easy driving to the east and West Saguaro National Park, Desert Museum, Bear Canyon, Sabino Canyon. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores close by. Stevie was very responsive to our questions and a great hostess. Loved our stay in Tucsan!

Very nice and private
Very clean well appointed very private. Did not realize for TV that we need a streaming service., which we did not have (unless we missed something). This was not a problem really nice not having TV. Did see coyotes going through the yard in the morning, we enjoyed this. I would highly recommend this property for anyone coming to Tucson. Thanks

A lovely casita. Nicely appointed/decorated. Every utensil we needed was at hand. Stevie was very responsive to a few questions/concerns we had shortly after checking in. Good proximity to Sabino Canyon and Saguaro NP East. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Tucson.

The casita was perfect for the two of us!
My husband and I enjoyed our relaxing week there as part of a month-long road trip exploring the Southwest. We felt safe and comfortable thanks to our wonderful host Stevie. Located in the northeast part of Tucson, we were in the Tanque Verde area close to Mt. Lemmon and the eastern part of Saguaro National Park, which we enjoyed very much. After a day of exploring Tucson, the best part was coming back to the cozy casita to unwind and enjoy the gorgeous mountain views. Many thanks to Stevie for her wonderful hospitality and for allowing us to make this clean, cozy casita our home for a very enjoyable week.

Perfect!
The Casita is perfect for 2 people. Spacious, quiet, everything you need to cook simple meals, comfortable bed, great shower, a private back porch and a less private front porch with great views of the Tanque Verde.
The location is convenient for anyone who wants to spend their time hiking. The Saguaro Park Rast and Sabine Canyon are only a short drive away.
I highly recommend staying here and would come back next time!

Quiet and relaxing
I came to Tucson to rock climb and this location was absolutely perfect for me. Clean, quiet, and just the level of seclusion I was looking for. Stores and restaurants not far away but not to close either. Highly recommend especially for a solo traveler or a couple. Not sure it ls the best place for kids because t for two adults without it’s very good. Lovely view too.

Peace and Privacy
We loved that the casita was so QUIET. Even though it was a short drive from the airport and there were lots of restaurants within a few miles, which made it very convenient, the immediate area around the casita felt removed from all the nearby development. Also, it was only a short drive to things to do: national forests with hiking trails, the Pima Air & Space Museum.

Lovely, quiet place to stay while enjoying Tucson hiking and biking
We wanted to get away from our busy, crowded urban home and this was the perfect place for us. Beautiful lightening on expansive mountain views in the early morning. Quiet evenings. We had more space than we needed, and the casita ha all the amenities. Host very responsive. Easy access to all of the hiking and bicycle riding we wanted to do. Highly recommend this wonderful casita.

Home away from home, without the trees.
We were in Tucson to visit our son. We needed a place to spend most of our daytime hours. We were comfortable and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the evenings.
