Thank you for sharing your lovely cottage. We enjoyed the solitude and quiet after busy days at the park.

This cottage was perfect for my husband and myself. Well appointed, comfortable and above all a beautiful view of the Strait. We used it as our base for visiting Olympic National Park, and it was perfect for that. After a day in the Park, the porch was a great place to unwind. We would definitely stay in this cottage again.

The Mount Pleasant Cottage lives up to its name... It's a pleasant cottage with an absolutely stunning view! The cottage itself is quaint and exploring the forest areas around the property is an activity itself, especially when it rained, and all the banana slugs and snails came out... My husband and daughter spent two solid hours searching for slugs and snails on a rainy afternoon and had a blast! All the deer sightings had us on our toes too... Always looking for deer was another form of entertainment, but honestly the deer always found us. This was the perfect place for us to explore Olympic National Park and we were happy to come home to our cottage every night after being out all day long on rainforest and mountain hikes, boats, tours and so forth. Every morning, we looked forward to seeing the breathtaking view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and every night we watched the sunset, and the stars twinkle their way out into the night sky. We have rented VRBO's in Montana, Texas, California and Utah... The Mount Pleasant Cottage has eclipsed them all and risen to our #1 favorite place to stay. The property is so well managed and clean that it allows you to relax and actually take in the magnificent view and the surrounding area. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with views that will delight you time and time again, while exploring Port Angeles and Olympic National Park, this is your cottage! My partner and I had a wonderful and peaceful stay at this cottage. It was the perfect location to return to after adventuring in Olympic national park and the surrounding towns during the day. The accommodations were clean and comfortable with everything one might need, and the view of the ocean and British Columbia was beautiful! Highly recommend!

I recently stayed at this wonderful vacation property and had an absolutely delightful experience. The place was nice and cozy, clean, and had a stunning view of the water. The owner added a lovely touch by leaving a bottle of wine for us to enjoy, which made us feel very welcomed.
The property was quiet and easy to find, and it was conveniently located. We had lots of fun exploring all the areas and truly appreciated the peaceful environment. Overall, it was a perfect getaway, and I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The property is beautiful - well appointed, beautifully decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed the views, the visits from deer and hummingbirds, the quiet and the breeze, the option to sit out on the deck and read. It is close enough to peninsula attractions, and the host gave information about food options - just perfect for us!

Comfortable and very nicely appointed, we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The view is amazing! Wildlife is abundant from deer to hummingbirds; the hummers ask that you bring extra sugar for their nectar! The nights were cool so we used the wall heaters as needed for each room. Before we left, we used the washer and dryer which did an excellent job. Communication was excellent throughout our stay. Do it; you will not be disappointed!

Thank you to the host for offering this beautiful property for us to enjoy and a perfect escape for a couple seeking from Quiet solitude to adventure all along the Olympic peninsula. Was just described and was a very comfortably cozy space to enjoy waking up and winding down after each day. I really enjoyed seeing the hummingbirds just outside the picture, glass window in the living room every day and the wildlife all around the property, including The amazing nature with the mountains, trees, water, and it felt like I was in a Bob Ross painting. We had a wonderful time!

We stayed several days at the cottage using it as a base to visit Olympic national park. The location is great and the property is perfect for two people. The views of the straits are really spectacular. The cottage was clean and well appointed with everything we needed. Our host April was easily reached and communicated promptly. Overall we had a great time.

If a cottage could talk- this one would cheerfully be saying “welcome” as you walk from the carport toward the white French doors that lead to the heart of this charming place. Once inside it’s easy to see that someone has put a lot of love, attention to detail, hard work and amazing design into this place.
They have thought of everything! From towels, shampoo and toiletries- to dishes, pans, spices, whimsical stickers, a guest book and a complimentary bottle of whine. There is not enough room here for me to describe each detail. But it is beautifully furnished and decorated- and gives off a sense of quality and class- yet homey and usable.
My best friend and I stayed for a three day weekend in May- and while our goal wasn’t to have a one of a kind, memorable time- that was exactly what happened! She was there for a conference and I decided to catch up on my writing. But the timing- the surroundings and the warmth of the atmosphere created an unexpected lightheartedness- a whole lot of laughter and no doubt- memories that will last for years to come!
The owners are easily reached and do live nearby- yet they gave us complete privacy. Not only would I recommend the Scenic View Cottage- I sure do hope to get the chance to stay again!

This cottage was perfect for our stay while exploring the Hurricane Ridge area of Olympic National Park. The cottage is very comfortable and homey with anything you need inside, well appointed and clean. A very cozy retreat. We loved the cottage feel and decor. It's nice to have a place to come back to and relax after a day of hiking and exploring the Olympic Penninsula. The view,

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Mt Pleasant Cottage. The cottage is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was very clean when we checked in. The view from the cottage is incredible. I loved watching the hummingbirds at the feeder right outside the big picture window. It was a great home-base for exploring Olympic National Park. It was a short 5-10 minute drive to Walmart, grocery store & gas station. We really enjoyed our time at Mt. Pleasant Cottage.

This was a perfect spot for exploring the northern pensisula and Olympic National Park. Minutes into town with access to restaurants and shops, ferry to Victoria, whale watching tours, and short drive to the east for Dungeness Point. The cottage is a few miles drive up above Port Angeles. Wrap around porch gave views of sunrises, sunsets, and across the water to Canada. Backside of cottage was great for star gazing. Quiet and serene. Enjoyed watching the deer and abundant hummingbirds. Great for nature lovers!

We returned to the cottage for an extended stay this time, as we’re having renovations done on our home nearby. As always, April was a wonderful host and the property was perfect for our needs. We live in town, so this was a quiet and peaceful break for us that felt like a vacation, while still being close to everything and providing all of the comforts of home. We both work remotely, and the internet was fast and reliable the entire 2 1/2 weeks.
When not working, we so much enjoyed the gorgeous views of the water and mountains, watching the ships go by and the multitude of beautiful birds.
Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The inside and outside furniture was comfortable and made it easy to enjoy birdwatching and views of the bay. The location was the perfect distance from town, making it easy to grab food but far enough away to have privacy.

It was an incredible experience staying in your charming cottage above Port Angeles. The breathtaking view of the water was absolutely enchanting, leaving us in awe every single day. We went to the Irrigation Festival and the Lumber Show in Sequim, both of which added a delightful touch of local culture and entertainment to our trip. I want to commend you on the impeccable condition of the rental, which exceeded our expectations in every aspect. Additionally, exploring the awe-inspiring Hoh Rainforest, as well as the breathtaking Marymere Falls and Sol Duc Falls, was an unforgettable adventure. Your warm hospitality and attention to detail truly made this vacation a memorable one. I cannot thank you enough for providing such a wonderful experience.

We enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable, and the view was spectacular. I would highly recommend this place.

The cabin was very clean, well furnished, and comfortable. The view out over the straits of Juan de Fuca is fantastic. The location is remote and very peaceful. We didn't get to enjoy the cabin as much as we would have liked to as we were only there 2 nights and spent the day taking the ferry over to Victoria.
5.0
This was a fantastic, quiet, clean, quaint retreat at the base of the mountain. Nature views all around; mountain to the south, deer in the yard, and the bay to the north. Breathtaking! Also close to town with lots to do. Bottom line: would rent again and would recommend to others!
