This property is located in the countryside, the owner recommends using Apple Maps for navigation. Even using our Apple map, the last few turns were hard to find due to limited signage. There is nothing in the property description that states all rooms are on a 2nd floor and require stairs to access the room. We had the Sequoia room, it was nicely decorated. However, absolutely no storage area for clothing, nor storing personal hygiene items in the bathroom. Just a basic sink top and vanity cabinet, small ledge for the window. No dining options near the property, you will need to drive to Port Angles for restaurants. Some type of "sound" device on the nightstand, no information on what it is or is used for. Fireplace controlled by the wall thermostat. Nice balcony for viewing the grounds, saw a deer. As seniors, we would not stay here again due to the stairs, however, it would be a good place for younger guests who enjoy hiking in the area. Owner did respond quickly to my texts as we were driving to the location. We found extra towels and coffee pods in the wardrobe located in the lodge room (per info provided in our room).

Off the beaten path. Good if you wamt quiet relaxation near Olympic National Park. Host provided good directions amd recommendations for food. No food available without a 15 min drive so bring what you may need.

The location, the view the room were amazing!! But water pressure for hot shower was low and the walls were thin.

Lovely, peaceful setting, but walls are paper thin, you can hear your neighbors whisper.

Thru no fault of the property the bridge was out and we got lost on a dirt road so it took us 3 hours to get there from the town 10 miles away. Was so dark we couldn’t find any signs for the property and the turn off was after the bridge closed sign so kept turning around. Finally found it and loved it but my wife still isn’t speaking to me. lol.

If you’re looking for somewhere completely off the grid with no TV or employees on site, this place is perfect. It has charming decor and you’re in a secluded area surrounded by a meadow where we were lucky to see Elk and deer graze. However, for the price, I would have expected more amenities and thicker walls, rather than signs to please “mediate” the sound.

Beautiful property tucked behind the mountains. Loved the room and common areas. The only complaint is that the walls are very thin and I could here the person snoring in the ajoining room.my n

Our stay at this chalet was awesome! A very charming, quiet and clean property, located in serene surroundings. We really enjoyed our stay and will gladly return to stay!

Hot water changed to cold all three days and I take a quick shower. The first day I rinsed my hair in cold water. The second day I stepped out (soapy) turned on the sink and shower to get hot back. When it came back on I stepped in again only to have it get cold again. The third day I just washed my hair in the sink (and still got cold water). Also showerhead needs to be updated to something that will give a stronger flow even with low pressure as there is barely a trickle. This is more like an AirBnB because once you are in that's it. I'm fine with reusing sheets and towels, but emptying trash and replenishing coffee would be nice. Nice view from the edge of the cliff, haha.

Beautifully appointed small inn near Port Angeles and Olympic National Park. Great design and furnishings. Lovely location. Locating the property and check in are a bit cryptic - never actually interacted with a 3D person- but would still highly recommend.

The view is fabulous!

Could have been a sign on the road... anything really out on the main road...that points you in the right direction! Still amazed that nothing indicates you clearly to the place. I blew right by it and had to backtrack.
Also, staff is a bit standoffish...i requested a late checkout at 9:30 am and never received anything from them (even though received several texts prior). C'mon!!! nobody else even at the property and i cant get a late checkout??? Preposterous!!

So here's the deal. The images of this property are extremely misleading. It looks luxurious, yet I've had better nights of sleep and a better shower while tent camping.
[I normally stay @ Aloft / Mariott / Fairfield / Residence Inn]
First - we arrived and it appeared that we were the only people on the property. Cool - romantic getaway without any distractions. Then, we open the door to our room only to find a bed full of soiled linens, towels on the floor, and a hat hanging on the coat rack.
Call to the manager, no problem, move to the next room. Get in and it's clean, but we were freezing and it took 20 minutes to figure out the fireplace [only way to get heat] and another 30 to make any difference.
While waiting for some warmth, we read some of the feedback in the guest book... Let's just say that it was very mixed.
The bathroom was... sub par at best. Toilet was wobbly. Shower head had a bunch of misdirected streams. Scalding hot, or ice cold. Totally uncomfortable. Super stingy with the provided shampoos, soaps and lotions.
Lastly - the bed. I've slept on futons from Ikea that were more comfortable. This was lumpy and uncomfortable.
The images look beautiful, but everything in the place is cheap and low quality. It's convenient, a beautiful setting, and a step below a roadside motel. Thankfully, we were the only ones on the property, otherwise we would have discovered why there were earplugs and sound machine...
Booked another hotel for the rest of our stay.

Stunning property. The location is stunning and fairly easy to locate. The room, The Pine, was very luxerious. Loved the sitting area down stairs, huge windows looking over the hills and forrest. If you want a treat, book it

The chalet was unique in its architecture and our room as was very tastefully appointed. It was a bit off the beaten path, but that is part of its appeal. I wish I had time to hike on the nearby hiking trails. A very enjoyable stay.

Absolutely lovely space, and the building and room was well appointed and sparkling clean. There were a few things that seemed to need attention, like the shower handle that kept falling off, and the directions to the space were unclear (a sign directing you to the building at each of the hidden turnoffs would be very helpful!). I would have liked to know where I’m could walk around and maybe see some of the surrounding woods and hills, but other than that, a very peaceful and relaxing stay!
