About this cabin rental
**Helene update:
We escaped the flooding that happened in the Asheville area and are open and accessible.
Our cabin has a beautiful modern design with vaulted ceilings, lots of windows and rustic mountain charm. Very private yet close to everything. It sits on a mountain ridge in the trees with relaxing mountain views!
Our cabin is located at the end of a paved road and although it sits up on a ridge you do not have to endure scary, winding dirt roads to get to it. 5 minutes drive to Cherokee, 10 minutes to Bryson City and the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad.

We arrived an hour prior to check-in. Most all places will let you go ahead and check in, if the property is ready. Despite the property being ready for guest, we weren’t allowed to check in early without an additional $30 for the hour. There was a spider web, complete with spider in the primary tub. There are spider webs all over the exterior of the property. The exterior is unkept. Both beds are really firm and we tried sleeping on both. The air conditioner is in the den and seems too small to cool the entire house. The guest bedroom has a ceiling fan that goes nuts when on high. The washer and dryer is in the basement. There is not a handrail at the top of the basement stairs. Property was clean.

very convenient to both Bryson City and Cherokee

The cabin was perfect! Lots of room and very clean! Well equipped with everything we needed for a great weekend.
4.7
We had a wonderful stay in this lovely cabin. Great location.
4.7
The cabin was clean, views were great. Missed proximity to water as hubby wanted to fish. Proximity to Cherokee and Bryson city was spot on. Only drawback was cabin was pet friendly and area also but neighbors let their Rottweilers out unleashed during walk stating 'they live here' which was unsettling as any visitors may feel targeted and uncomfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was beautiful and relaxing. Definitely will come back.

The place is well located within 25 minutes of Smokey Mountain National Park. Dog hair and human hair all over the bedspread - an unfortunate start to our stay.
A/C inadequate for the house and only cools the living room which is strange.
Otherwise good location and enough space.

It was a very nice place to stay with our family on a little fishing trip get away, the neighbors were great, and it's far enough away for peace and quiet and close enough to town to enjoy everything Cherokee has to offer, communication with hosts was also great!

This is a beautiful cabin well worth staying here then at one of the Motels or Hotel. Beautiful view of the mountains and nature. If I was you I would book this if it’s open. This is a short trip to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge through the Smokey’s, you won’t be disappointed. Mary was very communicative from start to finish. Five Stars.

We loved the cabin and its location! There was a small issue with the fireplace; the hosts were very attentive and the issue was resolved quickly. The hosts allow pets so we brought our dog and had a wonderful visit.
4.7
Our family had a great time staying here. The views were spectacular and the cabin was very clean and quiet. The cabin is in a great location in relationship to being close to a lot of different attractions such as the waterfalls, park head trails, shopping, museums, etc. The hosts were very accommodating and responded to any queries immediately. All of the above, helped to make our stay at our very first log cabin a relaxing and wonderful vacation!

It was very nice. Very clean and great communication with the owners.

Great location! Easy to get to Bryson and Sylva.

We loved our stay at this location and would have loved a longer stay! The place was very comfortable and peaceful. The location is great and is close to a lot of things on the south side of the national park. The one thing of note is that you enter at the top of the stairs in the photo listed, so consider if you can handle the stairs. We would stay again! Thank you.

Midway between Bryson City and Cherokee, and at the southeast edge of Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Very convenient and quiet location. Home/cabin is lovely, modern, well set up, clean and comfortable. Washer and dryer in clean basement.

The manager was easy to communicate with, easy checking and checkout . House appeared to have renovated with 2 newer bathrooms and kitchen. Location was an easy drive to Cherokee casino. Loved being able to bring our fur baby !
Downside of this rental - 1-very steep steps to gain access to front door. Would not recommend this for anyone with hip or knee issues or small children. 2-no Mountain View at all! Only view you have is the neighbors house, which is close. 3- only one ac wall unit that didn’t cool the bedrooms very good. I’m sure in the cooler months it would be fine.3- only 1 tv in house. 4- bedsheets and spread very thin . 4- needs updated/ more comfortable furniture in LR

Very nice cabin/home. Great location and we’ll-maintained. Hosts were friendly and responded quickly to any questions we posed. We would recommend this cabin/home to family and friends.

Cute little cabin, perfect for our needs.

This cabin felt like home. It was very well kept. It is a two bedroom cabin with an updated feel. It is up a steep hill which our kids love going up. We had two large vehicles and we always backed into two spots. They are adding a privacy fence up, though it felt already private. The view is also very nice!!! We would stay again. The owners were also very nice during our communication:)

Very nice place to stay near Bryson city. Had all the ammenties with a rustic charm.. Host was resposive. I would stay here again

The cabin was clean and in a quiet beautiful neighborhood with friendly neighbors. It has everything you need for a nice stay. The owners are super nice and quick to respond. Pam even called to thank me for leaving the cabin clean and the told me the housekeeper was really happy she got a tip. Always tip your housekeeper bc they make your stay even better. Would definitely rent this cabin again. Thanks for a great weekend getaway!

Perfect location to go out and explore the area .

We stayed at the mentioned property for two days. The exterior of the place was raggedy looking but we said, ok it's a Cabin and we wanted something different. Inside was not as bad but the place had a musty scent. On our last night we had some issue with the door, it just wouldn't open (wear and tear-which is expected because it's an old cabin). My husband emailed the owner and his response was that he wouldn't charged us...as if we were the ones who broke the door. We got a small wine stain on one of the old comforter and was told that we would have to pay $85 to replace this comforter. I'm still waiting to see when we will be contacted for our address for them to mail us the old one that we have stained. Since we are buying them a new one!

Suggestions include softer beds, an exterminator for many spiders, more secure railing to basement and stronger flushing system in toilets

Prior to arriving to cabin, we asked for a late check out, we were told either the owner or property manager would call with and answer, we never heard from neither. After arriving we decided that it was fine. No view, other than the neighbors home and their camper. We wanted two bedrooms however not side by side. We could not believe that a two bedroom cabin, only had 1 tv, this was most disappointing. Our money was not well spent. Thanks for allowing us to visit your home, can’t say we’ll return.

Everything was Excellent !!!!

The cabin was wonderful . Every commodity we needed except an elevator . Lol. We are both in our 70’s with breathing issues. I did not notice the steps up the front. They gave us both a work out. (My bad). Next time we need a cabin with easy access. Do you have anything else that you rent out.. Thank you again for renting your cabin to us. It was our 54th wedding anniversary!

well kept, clean, quiet location but just minutes from the casino and tourist activities.

This property was so warm and cozy yet bright and airy. Owners were responsive and check-in was easy. Very clean. We were in the area to ride the polar express train and this location was very convenient. We will be back and highly recommend.

I needed a place for 2 nights. The cabin was easy to locate & the driveway wasn’t excessively steep.

Property was great and better than what you see listed. Was very convenient, clean and quiet. Looking to book again in February

Great for a long weekend getaway!

We loved staying here. Perfect for our getaway weekend!! I do have to brag...the showers were amazing!! Loved all the wood work. The only thing I would say is the beds and maybe the couches could use an update.
4.7
We enjoyed our stay! Being so close to the main road between Bryson city and Cherokee is a big plus and no windy roads to get to the cabin. Nice and peaceful!

The cabin was as described in the ad. The check in was just a phone call away. Could not have asked for anything any easier. 👍👍👍👍If you ride a motorcycle at the top of the driveway is a little bit of gravel. Not to much to worry about. The neighbors were very friendly. The one neighbor across the street has 2 dogs and they were both friendly with us and our dog. We will be staying here again when we come back in the spring. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your cabin. Until next time.

Place is beautiful. It has everything you need even for your pets. The house was very nice, cozy and very spacious. Communication with property owner was great, responded really fast. Neighbor from across was very nice and kind. Everything very closed, stores, casino and Cherokee Reservations. A lot of place to visit. Will book again …

Very good place. A little firmer mattress than I like. More towels and wash cloths. Just a 3 day still so we was good But I would stay there again.
