About this apartment rental
Look no further, you have found a fabulous unit! Our place is located on the 5th floor (there is an elevator) and is a two bedroom two bathroom unit perfect for two couples or a family looking to be in the best location in town without breaking the bank.
Maid service is three times a week to sweep and mop, change towels, water plants, take out trash etc. Sheets are cleaned once a week. There are laundry facilities on the roof if you need them for personal items.
The building is gated and private for your safety and to take you away from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. There is a receptionist on site 24 hours a day as well as a full-time building administrator and maintenance staff to take care of any needs you may have during your stay. Please note, we are not a hotel, so though there is a staff member on site at all times, we cannot always accommodate all requests instantly. The building has a relaxing lobby area and atrium garden, a rooftop pool, grilling area, as well as a game room, and laundry. The views from above are sure to take your breath away!
The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed with brand new mattress with double stained glass doors opening to the terrace, extending the room and giving you an indoor outdoor feel allowing the sounds of the surf and the city to lull you to sleep if you choose. A dresser and large closet provide ample storage for your items, plus a small safe to lock up valuables. There is an alarm clock as well as a TV in the bedroom. It does have a new air conditioner, though the overhead fan is usually all you need. The master bath has a large tiled shower with shampoo niche and bench as well as a single sink with granite counter top, large mirror, dual flush toilet and hairdryer.
The second bedroom also has a brand new king size bed, alarm clock, and closet storage space, safe, as well as an overhead ceiling fan and air conditioner. The second bath is similar to the first with a new granite counter top, sink, dual flush toilet, large mirror, and tiled shower with shampoo niche.
The unit comes fully equipped with everything you could need for your stay including items to prepare meals at home, as well as towels and linens, bottled purified water, TV in the living room, as well as a stereo. There is a small collection of books as well as a few games, puzzles and decks of cards and beach toys in the closet. We have a stove, refrigerator, microwave, blender, coffee maker, and toaster as well as plenty of dishes, flatware, glasses, pots and pans etc. The dining area is perfect for your group of four - as well as a table for four out on the balcony. You also have access to the rooftop kitchen and BBQ.
Our building only has 33 units and is located in the heart of the Romantic Zone in Old Town Puerto Vallarta. It is located just a couple of steps from the beach, a minutes walk to dozens of fantastic restaurants and galleries, and located right on a gorgeous park plaza where there is a busy Saturday market in peak season as well as morning Zumba classes and the occasional early evening performance.
You'll love this location and you'll spend hours on the patio enjoying not only the view of the plaza park area below which hosts a lovely Saturday Market, but also the beach and ocean to the right. It just doesn't get much better than this!

This was such an amazing place to stay and was perfectly located in the middle of everything! The staff were wonderful and friendly. The host was amazing and quick to communicate. We could not have asked for a more beautiful and comfortable place to stay! Highly recommended and would love to stay again in the future!

This special two bedroom two bath condo head absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was complete with all the accessories needed to cook as great meals if you are staying in. Checking in and out was easy. Both rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are great. The Aircon worked wonderful for those hot evenings. We can’t wait for our next visit back. This is seriously a magical place..

We came to PVR for my 30th birthday, to live out a "nostalgia" tour of my childhood trips with my family.
The location of this unit is fabulous; 1 block off of the beach/malecon, and overlooking the Lazaro Cardenas Park.
The unit is beautifully decorated, the couches are comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked for being so small. We mostly cooked breakfasts at home. There is plenty of closet space and drawer storage to put all of your clothes and suitcases, and 1 safe in each bedroom.
We loved that we could be part of the action, without having to leave our balcony. We could see the ocean (and sometimes fireworks) from the balcony too! The pool is fantastic!
The building is very secure, we were always greeted by the concierge at all hours of the day; and the maids are extremely polite.
The host provided fantastic checkin instructions, including the options for cabs/ubers, and where to tell the drivers to go. We had no problem having a cab drive us to the condo, and an uber pick us up to take us to the airport.
I also forgot my ID and some cash at the condo, and the host is mailing it back to me! Thank you so much!!
Worth noting that there is A/C in only 1 of the bedrooms (the master). The master bedroom can also be quite loud from people on the street, and the daily zumba classes at the park below did happen to wake us up each morning. An eye mask and ear plugs are good items to bring here if you are a light sleeper!

The condo is amazing, extremely comfortable and in a perfect location, so much to see and do. What you see is what you get, the photos are perfectly accurate. Bonus, the shower has fantastic water pressure!
The host is amazing, clear and friendly communication, any questions were responded to promptly.

Great 2-bedroom unit located in the best part of PV. Everything with the unit was as advertised and we we had no issues or problems. The 24-hour front desk staff was a nice bonus to have whenever you needed anything or just had questions about any topic. Would definitely stay there again.

This was the second time staying at Plaza Mar in this condo. The condo is modernized with old world charm such as the stained glass deck windows and a wide array of art to enjoy and reflect on. Location is close to the beach, close to dining and has a Birds Eye view of the entertainment that happens daily in the square. Thank you so much again for having us Jordan!

Loved this condo. All the Mexican artwork was so beautiful. Condo was clean and had everything you need.
LOCATION is fabulous. Right by the beach and close to so many great restaurants. You can walk everywhere . We enjoyed sitting out on the terrace and at the pool which is on top of the building.

Great spot!
It was our first time in PV so we didn’t know what to expect but the location of this condo made it all the more wonderful. Great location near the beach, plenty of great restaurants, an atm, taxis, etc. I hope to visit again soon!

Beautiful condo in a great location
One of our favorite things about this condo was sitting on the patio and watching all the action. It’s literally in the best spot of zona romantica. The condo was clean, charming and well stocked. We also loved the rooftop pool. I would highly recommend this condo!

This is a fantastic location and a beautiful, welcoming and clean suite to enjoy the Romantic Zone of PV. Jordan was excellent to deal with and we would rent from her again!

Fantastic condo!
We adored this condo and it was a great family vacation. Great location and we could hear the ocean at night. Kids loved the pool and there were some terrific restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay there again during our next trip to Puerto Vallarta.

Beautiful All Around
We loved this property. The unit is super charming and has stunning views of the ocean. The building is beautiful and the pool on the roof is perfect. The bottled water service was another differentiator that highlighted Jordan's attention to detail. Our only hiccup was with cleaning, but that was a miscommunication on our part. I would highly recommend this property and hope to return soon!

We enjoyed our stay at this property very much. It was walking distance to great food, shopping and entertainment. Not to mention, just steps from the beach! The view was incredible as well. It was appointed with everything you need for making a meal in or for a night of just relaxing in with a movie or a book. There was enough room for a family of four to retreat from each other after a long day. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

I would definitely stay here and recommend to a friend/family. I think the nicest part is that the doorman is (usually) always there and has to buzz you into the building. If you're looking to go to the beach and someone stays in the room, you don't need a key to get back in if the doorman recognizes you. Also, we arrived early and the room was ready.
Shortly before your stay, you'll receive a welcome packet from the owner. The email contains (1) building information (amenities, policies, etc. . ); (2) guest authorization form which you need to show the front desk; and (3) a packet of local restaurant recommendations which was awesome.
We were there over new years. Any major complaints are outside of the owners control. The master bedroom and living room overlook Plaza Mar which can be noisy at times. There was one time where the water wasn't working right but was told it was a supply issue and impacted all surrounding units.
Internet in Mexico is slow and that has been my experience at other properties that I have stayed. The good thing about this unit is that the internet was reliable.

Amazing location
Very well maintained and supplied with many extras. Staff at the front desk was so very helpful with suggestions and assistance. Owner and manager were very responsive and checked in with us during the stay to make sure all was well

Fantastic stay at Plaza Mar 505!!!
Once again Plaza Mar is my condo of choice for my New Year's vacation!! Unit 505 was great.....just what my son and I needed for a break from the rain in Vancouver Canada........everything was just as advertised (as usual) and the front desk was very helpful. The restaurants and beach are right there, so everything was so convenient........Thanks again Jordan for another wonderful stay in one of your condos at Plaza Mar!!!

PERFECT!
As a long time PV visitor, I’ve stayed just about everywhere, but you cannot beat the location of Plazamar. Great condo, great service before and during. Highly recommended.

Noisy, outdated, Smokey
Pros-Great location, old building, old Mexician charm, nice view from balcony
Cons- if you want to sleep past 7 am, this isn’t the property for you, they start sweeping the park directly across the street between 630-7 am everyday. 6 days a week Zumba class is conducted in the park from 8ish for one hour- good luck sleeping through that noise. When sitting on the balcony you frequently will experience smoke from the Barbecue doing the fish and shrimp sticks- to a point where sometimes we couldn’t sit on the balcony. The pillows not even sure you could call them pillows need to be replaced, bed is extremely firm.
We have been coming to PV for years and have stayed at many places. Always wanted to stay here due to the location. The pool wasn’t heated for over a week of our stay.
Summary- if you are an early riser and don’t need pillows to sleep and don’t mind constant smoke when you sit outside, this is the perfect property for you.

Perfect Condo - Ideal Location
We have been vacationing in Puerto Vallarta for years and stayed in #505 last summer. This location is unbeatable for charm, restaurants, art, beach and overall activity. We were pleasantly surprised with the many changes the new owners have made to the unit. The new sofa cushions and bedroom and bath linens are well coordinated, top quality and very refreshing. The new terrace equipale furniture is great. It is both comfortable and charming. We love the terrace with it’s picturesque views of the mountains and ocean and the lively activities in the park. The wind changes during the evenings sent cooling winds from the mountains. We didn’t need air conditioning at all. This trip included some dental appointments at Just Smiles. We were too early in the season for the Farmer’s Market and folkloric dancing in the park. The beaches and vicinity were very clean. We’re pleased Page in the Sun has developed into a popular coffee stop and book store. The Mercado remains a good stop for fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and pastries. Plazamar is always immaculate, the staff as friendly and cheerful as expected. An elevator door repair was a minor inconvenience before we left. We were extremely impressed with the staff and their kind consideration in manually operating the elevator door to take anyone to or from their unit if they didn’t want to walk the stairs. Good exercise for us until it was time to take our luggage down for departure. We look forward to our next visit this Spring.

Needs an update.
We arrived at this condo to be greeted by a sign saying "the elevator is not working". Apparently this had been a problem for a while but the owner did not tell us about this at any point in our correspondence. The air conditioner in the unit was not working, the safes in the condo were not working and there was no light in front of the unit so it was difficult to get the key in the door. I did send an e mail to the owner and all these issues were resolved within two days but I feel that the unit should have been inspected before renting it out. When I rented this property there was a "no refund" policy, however I feel that I should be compensated for these inconveniences. This condo is in a great location, close to everything however it does need a face lift. The patio furniture is old and needs replacing. The couches in the condo definitely need to be replaced and the bed in the master bedroom is so hard that it was difficult to get a good night sleep. I would stay in this complex again but just not in this unit.

Excellent stay at Plazamar #505
Thank you for an absolutely great stay. While I have been to Plazamar before, I have not stayed in a two bedroom. Everything about the condo was excellent. The front bedroom A/C was noisy but we rarely used it. The only negative about the stay at the Plazamar was not seeing Adrianna at the front desk. Such a shame. The pool area was great and met many wonderful people.

Comfortable condo in a great location.
We enjoyed our stay here very much. We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. Jimmy, the day manager, was wonderfully helpful. Jordan was available for questions and provided us with a lot of information about the area.

This is a wonderful condo. We head down to Puerto Vallarta every summer and this home is in a perfect location and has plenty of room to spread out. We will be back!

Great condo and excellent central location in Old Town
I highly recommend staying here. The condo was very clean, nice size, comfortable, well appointed. It was secure and the folks at the front desk were very helpful with directions. Spent a lot of time being lazy at the pool and walking around Old Town. Loved that we were close to great restaurants, the Malecon and buses. PV is a beauriful city, the people friendly, and we will be back. We will definately book this condo again!

Pleasent condo, great view of oldtown, good location to activities, beach and park. Very responsive owner and staff. Bottled water provided. Would recommend additional water filter on condo. Just easier and safer to avoid MR. Great location for resturants and beach. Clean, comfortable, maid service 3 times a week. Great communication with owner. Nice pool on rooftop. When you stay in this condo, you feel Old Town. When you stay in this condo, you feel Old Town. A charming Mexican style condo overlooking the happenings at the plaza...concerts, morning aerobics classes, Sat market, etc. This was the first time we have not stayed right on the beach and we were not disappointed. We don't cook on vacation so we can't speak to the kitchen supplies, but we were very appreciative of the large water jug that was provided. The pillows were too hard for my personal comfort and I ended up not using them...my ONLY complaint. Very clean and great security.

Perfect for any length trip
This condo is in the heart of PV. It comfortably accommodates two couples or four people total. Although we went out for most meals, it was nice having a full kitchen to make breakfast (and enjoy the gorgeous city/ocean view) or a snack/drink before heading up to the rooftop pool. This location is much better for those wanting to experience all of what PV has to offer, rather than staying in the resort area further north. It has great restaurants nearby and is a short walk to nightlife
The host was perfect--responsive and offered recommendations to nearby restaurants and activities. I would recommend this Plazamar condo to anyone visiting PV.
