Nothing
The apartment was down stairs. The people upstairs was very loud and would stomp all night long. People played music all hours of the night. Then the other people would go out to their vehicle and put their bright lights on and it would come straight into the living room where we was trying to sleep.

I didn't stay there when I got there, there was a hotel it was a apartment in a very poor area. There were stray animals, trash everywhere, and police there as well. I want a refund.
3.1
Comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen, and a solid neighbourhood. It was relatively clean.
The sound isolation is horrible. I barely slept, since every tiny step of the upstairs neighbours can be heard.
3.1
Spacious. Plenty of room for # of people. Plenty of towls and linens. It did have an awkward smell but we got use to it. I like the code access.
Very cold. Heater did not work. Beds are uncomfortable. I can feel the bed springs. Barely any hot water for showers. TV did not work.

Didn't have breakfast
They refuse to refund our $768 that we paid being we had an emergency and were able to stay one night of the 6 nights. So we were charged full amount for a 9 hour stay.

Kitchen was GREAT. Plenty of towels and sheets. Apartment was clean.
Outside appearance was a little scary as well as 1st impression of the hallway/staircase. TERRIBLE mattress in foldout couch (unusable).

The price and space (not a small hotel room) was the best part.
The smell was not so great, walking into the room you immediately smell something off. We had to go to Wal-Mart to buy air Freshner just to spray occasionally because sometimes the smell was really strong. Beds were comfy but my boyfriend was completely uncomfortable. He's convinced the place is haunted lol, our first night he left the hallway light on and went to lay to bed, soon after the light turned off itself. I didn't see it but he got back up right after and indicated the light switch was still up with the light off. It was just kind of creepy, so we're the neighbors. NO Balcony and the pull out sofa in the living room was wet from a previous stay or from cleaning hopefully.

Was a great value for the apartment. It was nice to have everyone in one place. Had everything we needed. Clear instructions on the use of the property.

Kitchen looked ok.
Location wasn't that great.

We had an issue with the TV not working but the manager and the owner both stopped by to make sure everything was working for us. The apartment felt "homey" and we loved that. They provided us with excellent recommendations for local attractions. The apartment was supposed to have a balcony but they moved us to a lower apartment with its own little terrace which was great since we had two rambunctious kids with us. The location seemed sketchy at first but it was a nice, quiet area. All in all, it was a great trip. Will definitely return!
The only thing I would complain about was that the towel rack fell in the bathroom, but it happened on our last day there so it didn't inconvenience us at all.

There's really not much to say that I liked about this property other than when we got locked out by another guest, Lila was quick to answer the phone and help us get back in. The towels were also clean and there were plenty of kitchenware for our needs. The other thing that I liked was that there was a supply of children's books and toys for the kids, which my children loved. Honestly, the neighborhood looked intimidating because the property is clearly in the lower income area, but we found the residents to be relatively quiet and quite lovely when we spoke to some of them.
There is so much that we absolutely hated, the beds, the bugs, the power outlets, the condition of the apartment... We ended up leaving a day early because we couldn't stand this apartment any longer. The beds were absolutely terrible. They were old and worn out, and the bunk beds kept falling apart on my children. The couch hide-a-bed was so bent out of shape that it had a literal U shape to it. All the furnishings are in dire need of replacement. The AC unit in the main bedroom was literally held together with plywood, and there was no air to the bunk bed room so it got really hot with three children in there. There were also very restrictive conditions of when we could use the heating and air which I hated.
In the bathroom there were three used bottles of shower supplies provided, however, the bottles clearly had different product inside of them then what was written on the bottles. The Pantene 2-in-1 had some coconut smelling body wash in the bottle. The sink was also damaged with large sharp gouges taken out of the sink countertop, which the housekeeper or owner tried to conceal by placing a hand towel holder over. We also kept finding tons of bugs in the bathroom which made the kids scared to go in there.
One of the major issues that we had though was that over half of the outlets didn't work. The available outlets that did work had such little electricity output that our phones wouldn't charge and constantly died during our stay. We eventually gave up trying to charge our phones inside and instead had to charge them off of our car charger in our vehicle.
Also, there is a resident in the building who must have cats because the smell of cigarettes and cat urine is all that you can smell in the entryway. Someone attempted to cover the smell with cheap perfume air fresheners but it only added to the cigarettes and cat urine smells!
The last thing that I would like to mention is that the floors were highly unstable.

Location is VERY unsecured, I really don’t recommend anyone to stay in this place . It has a strong penetrating smoke smell and the pictures shown online are a complete scam. The neighborhood is very sketchy and unsafe for a family to stay at . If you’re looking for places to stay at Colorado Springs , do not stay here !
3.1
The property was well furnished inside. However the neighborhood was quite questionable and scary . Not a place I wanted to bring my family.
This was advertised as to a “non-smoking” apartment and even had “no smoking” signs up (which had obviously been ignored). The stench of cigarette smoke was pervasive as was some attempt to cover it with perfume. Cigarette burns were right there on the main living room recliner. My wife was nauseated by the smells almost immediately and we had to vacate.
It took us until midnight to find an available hotel room and we could only stay in town for two of the three nights we had planned because we could find no lodging for the third night. They would not refund the cost and we had to file a dispute with our credit card company to get our money back.
We will not be utilizing MountainSong for future accommodations.
